[X] Brand. This was a deed most foul, an act most unholy— but you must not stoop to her level. Remind them all with a single burn and be done with it.

A brand to reflect her crime, one she'll never get away from.

[X] No

Nope, the criminal pays for her crime.

Musicians for morale and communication, and better logistics will be vital when we eventually go on a long campaign.

Giseroux

A marriage alliance with Bonhomme sounds excellent, and so do closer ties with Giseroux.

Hell for her is here?
Good. Stay here, marked for the world to see as kinslayer and traitor.

@Voikirium

Can't we just kill her?!

All these options will have her as a rescueing villain! She has made it abundantly clear she hates us and will do anything to bring us down kill us and hurt our family.

If we can't choose to kill her then can we at least lock her up in a cell somewhere?

Tentative idea
[] rather safe than sorry
- [] brand her as a traitor ( place very obvious to see)
- [] find a far off location where she can locked up
-[] loyal guards will be assigned to "Protect" her, meaning if she tries to escape they will butcher her
-[] Manuel labor for her to do as offen as possible ( just cause)

Well, you *can*.

But.

Just to be Super Clear: There will be consequences for killing an unarmed woman, especially your sister, traitor or no, in Arthurian France. Very serious ones.

Hm. None of the choices about the sister is really appealing to me.
You can write one up yourself, if you'd like.

Quarry: Most of the mountain stone you find is too coarse, too plebian, to be worth much. However, there are many occasion where base functionality is more important than aesthetics, and nobles might be willing to overlook its...brutalist look. In particular, Sir Yvain saw what looked to be a vein of fine building stone on his way from Bastonne last year, though it was infested with Greenskin, and as such has requested permission to take some men, clear it out, and begin production.
Cost: 75 Gold, 4 Years

Reward: Quarry, incomeBahh~: Sheep! You have plenty in your flatter, pastoral country, but not many can survive in the mountains. However, traders from the Empire speak of an animal brought over from the new world that can survive in such harsh conditions, a kind of… Big Horned sheep, was the term they used. Perhaps your people could make use of them, to supplement your food supply?
Cost: 100 Gold

Chance Of Success: 90%

Reward: Bighorn Sheep
This looks off.

What is to be done to Carole?:

[] Banishment. She will leave Montfort, and will only ever be allowed to return if called on.
[] Make her useful. She wishes to rule? Let her rule the Massif. She will take 500 men and sufficient supplies and form an outpost in the Massif, one loyal to Bretonnia— and if she should leave it without your permission, you will break her.
[] Something Else (Write-In)

Do you let Baron Armistead take his wife's place?
[] Yes
[] No
Out of curiosity, what does our wife think?

OK then, explain to me how entrusting her with 500 men sworn to her service and sending her out to build up a new city when we know she hates us, has killed our father, has tried to kill us and maime our kids, and do Lady knows what else to our land, is such a bang up idea.
Because we're going to be watching her closely, like I've all ready said.

They are sworn to you. They follow her lead solely because it is your will. If she should dare attempt anything they will turn on her.

(Also there aren't really a whole lot of places for her to get soldiers from except you, which kind of puts a damper on that plan)

Out of curiosity, what does our wife think?
"Make sure she never harms you or the kids, Bretonnia, or me, no matter what."

"Also I reserve the right to cut out her tongue if she talks to you like that again."

I rather we make her into a nun, not to mention if we take the massif with communication on the tribes there she could sabotage the effort.

It would be extremely hard for her to pull that off.
To be fair, that is playing more to her actual strengths than her raising an army out of your men to march on your city and kill you.

In comparison, all she has to do to fuck up your Massif communications is kill a dude in one of the most dangerous places in the Old World and then not get caught, which is

like

something she already did, multiple times?
[Note: After this I will be restricting GM Commentary for the night.]

Can we make her into a nun or whatever convent WFB version?

Maker be a nun, and mabye if there isn't a perverse reaction from nobles cut off her tongue or a few fingers,I mean she didn't only betray the kingdom/duchy SHE KILLED HER OWN FATHER. Id prefer if she remain under our or the churches watch to make sure she doesn't go full chaos, or if she does so we can deal with her easier then if she was in another duchy
