[X] The Zapatistas - The rich have dominated Mexico for too long, let bring forth a truly peasant solution to us all! Igualdad y libertad!
[X] la Metrodad - The heart of Mexico, it is the city of Mexico and it's surrounding environs. Home of the rich, the poor, and the entitled, it is the most populated bastion of support, but at the wiles of whomever has the ears of the mover and shakers, both high and low. Home of the many trenches.
[X] Third Republic of the Yucatan - The Zapatistas are guaranteeing our independence. If they fall, whoever replaces them is likely to come after the Yucatan next. We must aid Zapata to prevent this from happening!

The winter of 1911 began with a slow of military advances, but fighting continued within the war-zone once known as the Mexican Republic. The Third Empire made a surprise attack on the entrenched American positions. Wherein the Americans were not expecting the failing Empire to have the strength to attack, the Americans had pulled assets to focus on their western flank against the Magnonistas. The Third Empire made surprising gains during this offensive across the northern states which was the battlefront, until emergency American reserves stabilised the front. This success, combined with a western attack on Zapatista and Magnonista holdings gave hope to the Emperor that his regime would spread across the nation. Alas, this did not mean that the Imperials were without losses. The Zapatistas made a concerted effort against the Imperial holdings within the provinces of San Luis and Veracruz, almost throwing the Empire out of the first and completely out of the latter.

In the north, the Magnonistas saw a collapse in their support. Weak efforts by the Free Republic, American armed forces, and Zapatistas all saw the anarchist militias shrink from contact. Only the lack of a concerted effort by any of these parties saw the continuation of the Magnonista state. Meanwhile in the south, the long time deliberation of the Guatemalans was strengthened into real resolve following the attention of all the world on European matters. Claiming Chipas as the lost state of Guatemala, the Guatemalan army broke through the border and saw impressive gains within the state. Slowed down only my popular resistance, the Guatemalans controlled roughly a quarter of the state.

As the Mexican Civil War approached an entire year in length, it is surprising how far the state has devolved into anarchy. The initial contenders for the Presidency, both Porfirio and Madero, were both dead. Further, caudillos such as Villa and Oroz, have found their ambitions dashed. With a year almost past, what will Mexico look like in another year?

Mexico is still off the rails, out of the gorge, and somewhere in the pits of hell. What's next to come?

~ ~ ~ ~
It is November of 1911, Mexico erupted into armed discontent.
Who do you support?

[] The Third Empire of Mexico. His Imperial Highness returns! Viva Agustin! Viva la Emperor!
[] The Zapatistas. The rich have dominated Mexico for too long, let bring forth a truly peasant solution to us all!
Igualdad y libertad!
[] The Magnonistas. True freedom occurs solely in an anarchist state, the revolution must be brought further in Mexico!
[] The Free Republic of Lower California. Why not? There's money to be made.
[] The Americans. This nonsense needs to come to an end, America is the only power that will dictate terms to Mexico.
[] The Guatemalans. Chipas is ours!

However the civil war has expanded wildly outside the initial imaginations of those that started it. Generals, Caudillos, Mob leaders where will the next offensive be launched?

Where will you attack?

[] el Norte -
The deserts and mountains of the north hide hardy farmers, squalid forts, and banditos. From la Baja to Chihuahua and Sonora, these lands are the most difficult to take and difficult to lose. Land is often concentrated in the hands of titled aristocrats and their haciendas. Home of the Magnonistas.
[] la Centro - Heartland of Mexico's agriculture, the haciendas rule the roost and the peasanos do all the work for the privilege of living in a room. To feed or not to feed, that is the question, however this region is hard to swap, as the enfiefed ideals of colonial Mexico are still strong here. Current battleground of the Civil War.
[] la Metrodad - The heart of Mexico, it is the city of Mexico and it's surrounding environs. Home of the rich, the poor, and the entitled, it is the most populated bastion of support, but at the wiles of whomever has the ears of the mover and shakers, both high and low. Home of the many trenches.
[] la Sur - From Oaxaca to Chiapas, this is a region of biodiversity, white sand beaches, and hot blooded politics. Long peaceful from the war, Guatemala's intervention has brought war back to the region.

Shall more intervene into the war?

[] Third Republic of the Yucatan -
Guatemala has attack the Mexicans, perhaps we shall seek our pound of flesh?
[] No One - Mexican Wars for Mexicans!

Shall the interveners continue to spend their valuable time and resources in Mexico?

[] The International YES -
The International will never give up on their fellows!
[] The International NO - The International has given up on their fellows!

Would this have the Third Republic joining the war against the Zapatistas, or alongside them like has been discussed in the previous several pages?
assumedly it is taking from Mexico more land from Mexico

It'd be taking land from Guatemala, they control ethnically Mayan land.

Also there is no write in vote this round because everyone but the Mayans are busy. Maybe the choice will return in a later date.

@Dadarian, a question.

Who is the 3rd Republic of the Yucatan going take their pound of flesh from?
