He can ignore commands like Emiya, and Saber to some extent, can. It screws his stats tho since he has to make the conscious effort to ignore it.
No he can't. Saber is the only one able to resist a direct Seal order before power creep because of her inherent A-rank Magic Resistance, and even then it's only temporary and causes her immense pain. What happened with EMIYA was Rin wasted the Seal on too broad a command, as "always obey me" is something not even a hundred Command Seals can enforce. The more complicated an order, the weaker the Seal. "Fuck off back home" and the planned "selfkill" from Tokiomi are ones that Gilgamesh, like basically any other Servant ever, would be forced to instantly obey without a second thought. Like Diarmuid selfkilling before he even realised what was happening.

That makes me sad...because I know said intention reading was not accompanied by Gilgamesh dropping the Original Burn over Solomon's intentions being a Hecho en Mexico rip off of his own in UBW.

Oh he does

Gilgamesh calls every single of Solomon's actions a Childish Tantrum of Pointless Hate

That not a single thing Solomon did that isn't tainted with Hate

I mean at least Gilgamesh opened up the road and left humans the fuck alone

Solomon throws a shitfest because humanity abandoned his Magecraft

That's about right from what I read on BL

CanonRap from BL said:
You're back at the remaints of the London Grail where Gil is looking at "the nature" of the one who made it. Mashu thinks he's talking about Makiri and Gil was going to correct her, but decides not to because the other observers (like Merlin) have been keeping quiet so far.

The obsession/grudge/curse of the Grail draws in monsters, you fight them off. Suddenly shadow Babbage pops up, the "carcass" of a great dream of progress refusing to die.

You beat Babbage and Gil says there's no hate in a machine after all - it was only the mania of the fool who made this Grail, Solomon. Gil isn't actually interested in this Grand Order thing yet, but he gives you a hint that Solomon is filled with hatred that is not born from feelings of justice or love or anger.

Solomon's is the hatred of the weak minded, because even fools and evils act for some sort of gain, but Solomon's hatred leaves nothing behind and saves nobody.

He cuts off here and basically says you'll figure it out when you face him, so remember what you're fighting to save.

Yeah, that'll be why he wanted to murder 99% of everyone and go back to the time where everyone is scarce and therefore useful.

That was after being summoned for 10 years in an era he didn't like. Summoned in an era he likes or one where Enkidu is also summoned and he's in a much less genocidal mood.

Even when Gil was originally summoned in the 4th war, he didn't immediately go to try and genocide most of humanity even though he was disappointed in how modern humans were. Hell if Angra Mainyu hadn't been in the grail, he probably wouldn't have bothered with his plot as it would've been too much of a pain in the ass personally culling humanity himself.

And Gil at least still has some faith in humanity given he didn't want to get rid of them for good but just lead the "worthy".

Solomon on the other hand literally resurrected himself post death in his strongest form and then went through the effort of time traveling across multiple eras just to ensure that humanity is completely wiped from existence.

Does Gilgamesh summon himself to fuck up with humanity?

No. Wank as it is but Gil states in CCC he already did his 'role'. But if he is dragged down by anything then he will act as The King of the World once more but he is entirely happy with being left alone and observing mankind

Huh ? Did gilgamesh already meet solomon or already know solomom without meet him ?

*looks back at last 900 pages*

Yeah, it's all we've been doing.
:)

Finally a place I can talk FGO here.

Thank goodness.

Anyways, took care of my first fight against Cu Alter and Arjuna(CA gave me a heart attack when he showed up. Thank you BFF's Mordred).

Which has me with a series of nagging questions:
1. How come the Celtics are fighting the Americans
2. Why did we fight the Americans even though our enemy is Mega Bitch Medb and her edgy fanfic of a Dragon
3. Why did Karna betray us
4. And why is Arjuna siding with the Celtics. I thought he and Karna hated each other

Those are my two cents of trying to understand what's going on in America outside of Irish invading and America has mecha and Edison is a manly lion.

...

And one more thing:

Save my ten roll for the event? Or use them to get a Gil or Arturia? Only 4* I have is Tamamo Cat(I started playing at the end of February so I missed out on all the amazing good servants).

Karna never betrays you. IIRC at that point he's Edisons's Vice President who's taking you in or some such. Arjuna sides with the Celts to fight Karna until the last battle where he assists you against them.

Save all your Quartz until you have enough for multiple 10-rolls if there's a ServNt you want.

Why do we fight him though? He was our ally for a while before all of a sudden we have to fight him.

>he's Edison's Vice President
I have the feeling he would get more done than the man sitting in the Oval Office.

Problem captain:

I'm on an Iphone

So unless I have Japanese Itune cards ir my biling address is now my fake semi address in Japan I' boned. I have to build up quartz via story and daily log in bonuses

Aka at a snails pace.

Whelp

Least I have more than enough Mana Prisms to last me months. Screw that CE where it gives you a meager 2% exp. Saving that on Fous and Tickets.

extra quests are also useful.

Does Gilgamesh summon himself to fuck up with humanity?

No.
Are you certain that because he doesn't want to and not because he can't? I know we've gotten into the habit of wanking him to the high heavens and back, but I'm fairly certain that even at maximum overwank Gilgamesh doesn't quite have the same grasp of magic that Solomon does.

Gil apparently has access to the Universal Language. If anything, his hax is likely magnitudes worse.

Remember that there is method to Gilgamesh's madness. He wants to help humanity - it's just that "helping" involves genocide and God of Evil. Still, underlying reason is there.

Meanwhile, Solomon's reasoning seems to boil down to "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE".

1. Something about Medb wanting country of her own.
2. Because Edison is being an idiot, so you have to punch some sense into him
3. He didn't. Edison sent him to pick you guys up, but when you met Edison, you realized that he was an idiot so you wanted to punch some sense into him. Edison kinda didn't like that so he had Karna throw you into a prison.
4. Precisely because he wanted to fight Karna, and Karna was part of army that fought Celts
