Well. This isn't our problem beyond the fact that as a Judgement member on site, we might be asked to take a Level 5 into custody for property damage. Further, those computers are going to be replaced out of the Judgement budget (and with multiple L4s, this is obviously one of the better funded branches anyway.) They may well have been insured, too. If she really wants to make it up to us, though, she could provide a service of equivalent value.

Do we even have the authority to recruit someone? Not to mention having her in Judgement means more exposure to our computers and more damage next time she loses her temper. And with her and us working in the same building, she's going to lose her temper a lot.

Yes, we do have some kind of authority to, though she won't be an official member unless she goes through the required four months of training for things like basic physical training, first aid, emergency situation response, things like that, and has to sign nine contracts.

The only thing that kind of bothers me here is the Mac. Even I know this is just silly nitpicking, but this is Academy City, the technology of which is decades ahead of the rest of the world. Would they use such backwater American hardware? Well, if it's Kazari's private laptop, then that's possible, I guess... but even then, she is Goalkeeper. Customizable hardware and software are what I would expect with her inclinations.

It's meant to be symbolic. We don't have the authority to draft her, and tossing the armband at her doesn't make her a member of Judgement anyway, but she's certainly allowed to sign up, and you can't tell me Judgement wouldn't jump at the chance to get the sane (relatively...) Level 5 on board anyway.
