End of Night 5/Start of Day 6
The party of nine from where they had entered in the night comes out to a party of seven, all of them looking as two more of their numbers have vanished. And so like every night prior, the two missing are revealed.

The first is revealed as Reisen Inaba, Moon Rabbit on Earth (@Shalmoa), who 'died' from a Knock on the Head.

The second is revealed as Alice Margatroid, Seven-Colored Puppet Master (@dinomannitro6), who 'died' from being Knocked Out In A Closet.

And a message is left upon the table to read.

Reevals needed on Walker's flip
Everyone needs progressions now IMO
Hobo's vote NAI even if late due to self-pres
Other votes probably won't get good info at this point
Not sure if absences are notable right now (Dino/Comi, YP to a lesser extent)
Figure one more affordable miss ATM but needs serious discussion given game length
Probably makes it a good spot to fill out claim space
Wiadi, Comi, Atoms are the only unclaimed ATM
Atoms can clear with N5 Town kill, Wiadi/Comi mech-locked out of Odd-Night TKP

And so the seven members of the party begin the sixth day…

End of Day is at

You're not wrong, I'm not sure there is a great way to play this role tbh. I don't like it that much, but that's how the cards were dealt, nobody's fault or anything. I just don't feel like keeping an X-factor quiet from town that can create confusion over something as simple as vote results is particularly helpful either.
idk if this is too much reacting, but I don't particularly see how it would be a problem. I'd probably just play it vanilla until actually in a position to sway a vote I disagree with and announce it then? And then you're just +1 town vote.

I'm definitely not replying to this because I'm the top poster and someone's going to wagon me in a hot second with a 3000 word long case file they pulled out of their ass if I don't produce actual content soon but I found it pretty weird that our very own Top Bean kinda just said this on open mic as his entrance

Kind of like the equivalent of sitting down for a meeting with the cartel and admitting literally 5 seconds after doing small talk that you have a direct line to the DEA, they just aren't going to let you leave the room

Then again, the "Two vote thing" is a pretty easy thing to confirm and that's a pretty jank wolf ability if true so Town Bean might actually be Town Bean again unless someone here's more familiar with his ranges, if we have a Doc here they might have to get him patched up tonight

Regardless at the end of the day this post just provoked the entire server to hit with a 9000 word long case file for my very first content post instead so yikes on me chief
What makes it a jank wolf ability? I'm not the most experienced but it seems fairly normal to me? I don't really see why it'd be more jank as mafia than as town.

This is a question for anyone, but wouldn't it have been better to share this when it may be relevant (i.e. if your extra vote would break a tie or cause it to be closer to hammer than expected) rather than right at the beginning of the game?
I'm pretty indifferent to it -- there are benefits and drawbacks to doing either. In our case, divulging it now makes it at least something for everyone to be aware of and play around for EoD1, which should hopefully be the worst of the chaos that it would screw with.

Read on it is null though since it's pretty easy to just say you have 2VP as scum to exert indirect control over the vote. We'll have to see how Bean's EoD1 looks though before we really think about slot alignment.

Right so I'm properly awake of sound mind.

My thoughts: I have no clue what in the hecc is going on

Clown is NAI. I would say they're towny, but they could be a scum vote manipulator rather than a double voter. Or a scum double voter, but that's made less likely than before due to their play, I feel. It's still possible though.

Otherwise, people are memeing. Clown is the only one who's done anything. Well, Zaelix randomly voting on the person I happened to vote on, creating a mini wagon, is something I took note of. It's probably meaningless, but it at least caught my notice.

In other news,

*raises eyebrow*
Hey man it's a party! Fun and games time is still going yeah?
But ah, yeah. Did think there was a vote on Nictis soo lemme amble elsewhere now that the dust is stirring.
Can't let Bean hog the spotlight!
[X]Vote A bunch of Atoms
Your turn! Have at you!

Also I know there's a lot of people in this game so it isn't much of a worry but if I still have four meme votes on me in 48 hours I'm throwing hands in that exact group of four.

If anything I think there's a bit of pro- and anti-Town behavior from Bean's methodology here. The act of divulging the extra VP is fine in itself, but also discouraging discussion around it is pretty not okay, since that's something that will easily lead things away from memes/RVS, and weighing how people choose to go about Bean's claim is a pretty good manner of informing the Day 1 vote.

I find myself walking my opinion in a different direction than I initially thought because of that. I'm still firmly null on Bean, but need to see how other people took the claim to see if I can inform elsewhere.

I mean, considering infoleak history, I don't think role-based speculation rn is the uh. Best of ideas?

I know it's still early memeing and all but if you're going to specifically call out a random meme vote as "noted" because oh it's copying your vote and making a mini-wagon then it's a bit weird to 1) ignore that I was also the 2nd vote on -Rosen and 2) join the -Rosen vote as 4th (!) person

It's a fine idea -- the difference is being careful enough to not leak needlessly.

If someone is going to divulge information that can immediately take the game out of meme phase, then they should be fully prepared and willing for others to engage with said information.

On another note, I'm drawing the line at five votes. Any more and overall productivity is endangered on account of voting pressure being placed on something completely unserious.

Sure, but like... It's not like I'm worried about Bean infoleaking more, but rather that we have a large amount of people, infoleaking is tempting, and when that kind of thing comes up, it feels like dominos. Does that make sense?

Tbh, I would've preferred Bean not bring it up in the first place, but like... We can try to avoid the dominos falling.

*frowns*
Alright alright, gimme a sec to sober up *hic*

Eh.

Bean has the spotlight for the reveal, but it remains to be seen if that's even real or not.'more importantly Bean seems to not even be meme voting which, come on man!
Meme phase! Throw some jokes!

I do need to start trying to be judicious with this thing or people will be asking if I lost track of end of day when that rolls around…

I only can't agree in this case because Bean's info was related to Day play, rather than anything Night or wincon-oriented. Most of the time we do see domino effects, it's when we see someone divulge some kind of Night-related info, and that leads to someone chiming in to either prove or disprove it, which leads to someone else chiming in to prove or disproving that, etc. It goes into a lot of overall setup discussion, rather than anything about the info itself.

In contrast, Bean's information is purely related to Day play, which for any faction is balanced by simply being better or worse in the thread state. There isn't a concrete way to prove or disprove Bean's claim, so we either take it at face value or say Bean is lying and put them on the block for it (the choice is pretty obvious here FWIW). So I don't agree with the idea that discussing it would lead to further leaks.

Alright, I've slept on it, and I'm still not sure how I feel about the early claim. It feels like the kind of thing best looked back on a day or two from now to see what interactions happened around it, rather than trying to divine alignment now.

On other topics, @A Wise Hermit, you've been pretty active but I can't help wanting more of substance. I also notice that you were up for dueling. So I challenge you!

Beat my admittedly not all that impressive score in Highly Responsive to Prayers, or give me a scum read! I know there is not much foundation to go on yet, but give me something.

Until then,
