    • The party of nine from where they had entered in the night comes out to a party of seven, all of them looking as two more of their numbers have vanished. And so like every night prior, the two missing are revealed.



    The first is revealed as Reisen Inaba, Moon Rabbit on Earth (@Shalmoa), who 'died' from a Knock on the Head.



    The second is revealed as Alice Margatroid, Seven-Colored Puppet Master (@dinomannitro6), who 'died' from being Knocked Out In A Closet.

    And a message is left upon the table to read.

    Everyone needs progressions now IMO
    Hobo's vote NAI even if late due to self-pres

    I feel like Variable's a bad off-ramp too, TBH? Like I might be reading it too positively but I think it's just how Variable approaches info analysis, and it feels to me like a playstyle clash rather than anything actually scummy to me.

    Ideally with one less scum, and some more names to look at as a result of that fact.

    Unironically I think that if we're looking to swing to an actual solving vote pending Hugh's content, Variable is the best bet.

    Yeah I think these all kinda suck in their own ways which I'm trying to figure out what that MEANS.

    This being said, I have some in mind but would want to wait for a flip before I conf-bias myself into oblivion.
     
    Variable is difficult for me. I caught him his scum game because I finally hit my "wait I'm being pocketed" limit. But he plays very similarly as town as scum, see last game where he decided to tunnel on a no vote vote despite it being actively disliked by enough of the thread to get him kicked.

    I am side eyeing the people going after him as just trying to switch to a different low-hanging fruit with minimal reasoning beyond his abrasive stubborn logic
     
    I mean, Variable is neutral, but like. Getting super bad vibes off going from two possible wagons to "No Variable"

    Which is kinda hypocritical because I want to go "No dino", but it's different because it's not me doing it. I just don't see Variable as scum-shaded, and dino is at least? Slightly?

    I could argue that it's good to let this happen in scum!Rosen worlds, but let's be real, there's never gonna be a serious Rosen vote in return for Variable turning up scum.
     
    For info if variable flips scum that clears a couple people, probably, but I'm not certain it actually implicates anyone. I know I'd be suspicious but I also know I'm town so that's a wash and I do agree with the logic of the people like Shal saying what variable has done is not enough

    Bro I regret to inform you that every wagon we have up for grabs are scummy town players and moving this threadstate against that is going to be a herculean effort so I'm picking the one I'm least sure of on the basis of damage mitigation and praying for good night actions atp.
     
    I was a seer when I said that this would happen. Hugh would show up, say words minutes to an hour before EoD, the Town would flake and devolve into discussion, and then we would be forced to make a vote based on low to mid content information

    By God I wish that Hugh could clear his name with a definitive post in a couple of posts here, because I am freaking out right now

    fwiw i actually agree with Hermit completely I just still don't think it ends in scum!hugh world, it might still be worth sinking him just on the basis of it resolves shit.
     
    oh, Variable has played more than 1 game before this and one of those was scum

    i uh, do not know how this impacts my read and i rly do not wish to reread past games (I only know a bit of previous one because I followed the later parts)

    In game talk is not "Everything that affects the game" Whatever the actual effects of the absence, the reason is very much not play-related, so I believe it. Kinda shitty to accuse someone of making it up tbh.
