The Power(Harry Potter/The Gamer)

[X] Meet insult with insult. Greasy haired bat...
-[X] Insult his hair, his taste in clothes, his sexuality, his parentage, and everything in between. You learned some very good insults back at private drive.

[X] Actually, on second thought, you are going to let this stand.

Now's not the time. We want to prove to him we're not a dunderhead? Wait until first class when he gives us those potion questions, and we can answer them easily. (Hell we don't the Gamer for that, the books/movies told us: The Draught of the Living Death, bezoars found in the stomach of a goat and stop most poisons, the same plant also called Aconite.)

Despite what most fanfic may claim he'll just keep asking more and more complex questions until we can't answer.

[X] "And how exactly am I to know what's practical and what is not considering I only learned that magic is real a matter of hours ago."
-[X] "besides the beetle eyes what would you recommend that someone of my inexperience pay attention to?" If he does give an answer make sure to thank him.

Griffendor only had one Nevile (and he became badass by the Seventh year) Hufflepuff had a legion of mediocrity and one Cedric.
:)That the point,Hufflepuff is about hardworking and loyalty,Maybe Helga just too nice to deny the poor children that lack confidence.

About Champion of Gryffindore....well Percy should fit well in Slytherine and Hermione is pretty good in Ravenclaw,Professor Mcgonagal too.
There are mix trait in every house but I think house serve as generalization.

So about champion of house,I think Harry inherit both trait of Gryffindore and Slytherine in canon,

[X] Prove him wrong about your being a dunderhead.
-[X] "I apologize for the state of my clothing, sir, but my Aunt Petunia never got me anything of my own. She only ever gave me my cousin's old clothes."
-[X] "If you knew my father, did you also know my mother, sir? Hagrid says she liked learning about potions, so I'd very much like to learn more about the subject, though I only just learned of magic not too long ago and I haven't had a chance to read the textbook, so I don't know much about them. From your apparent expertise, I'd wager you are the potions professor. I'm looking forward to learning everything you have to teach."

People say Hufflepuff is a house of duffers, but what do we have actual evidence of? We do not ever see full class rankings or anything like that. So there are really only two Hufflepuffs we can have any idea of the abilities of, Cedric Diggory who was the most capable student over the age of majority in the entire school, and Nymphadora Tonks, who managed to become an auror which requires a number of high level NEWTs, including potions, which means putting up with Snape all seven years.
Basically, we do not have a decent sample size to make any conclusion. That said, I would vote for being sorted as the new Headmaster, those fics are usually somewhat amusing.

I think Ernie Macmillan is all you need to know with Hufflepuff,or Zacharius smith.

plan ryuan:

If you take the worst from the house, you have to use Ron and Neville from Gryffindor, so Huflepuff still does not look that bad.
Besides, while we know those guys were a$$holes, we know nothing of their abilities with magic or their grades.

Eh, I don't mind trying to make a good impression on Snape in order to make our time at Hogwarts more bearable, but I think trying to steer onto Lily at the drop of a head seems a bit odd.

[X] Meet insult with insult. Greasy haired bat...
-[X] "your kinda bait of a dick aint'cha? i mean here i am a first year dressed in obvious muggle clothes which indicates that ive been raised by muggles and you're calling me out on beeing drawn to the obvious flashy magical stuff..... that kinda dumb and bigoted, further you are aware who i am and who my parents were so you know i am an orphan then you go and insult one of my dead parents in front of me really?.... wow, gods i hope you are not one of my teachers because i'd have already lost all respect for you before school even starts"

[X] ignore him. why should we care what some random guy thinks? you didn't ask for his opinion, and you don't particularly care.

I think Dumbledore army is the best you can ask for in term of combat ability,I don't said Ernie or Zacharius is bad,They maybe the best example to ask for in that house.

Plus that plan does not include a swift and decisive kick to the balls, so we know it is not the right plan to use.

Eh? Ernie was one of the few who openly declared that he believed Harry about Voldemort.

He was one of twelve to qualify for NEWT potion classes. Managed a full patronus and got into NEWT defence. Then he joined the resistance at Hogwarts against the death eaters. How is he the worst?

Smith is an ass, but every house has those. Smith can't be said to define Hufflepuff any more than Pettigrew defines Gryffindor.

While thinking on your options of where to go next you busy yourself with the chocolate and raspberry ice cream Hagrid got you. And subtly switching out your title from Freak to First Year Student.
Threadmarks, bruh.
You feel you should be more affronted by his insulting words about your father, and you, but for some reason you're not as upset as expected. Maybe your [Gamer's Mind] coming into play again.
Probably helps that we never actually had the chance to bond with our parents, either... and now I made myself sad.

[X] Prove him wrong about your being a dunderhead.
-[X] "I apologize for the state of my clothing, sir, but my Aunt Petunia never got me anything of my own. She only ever gave me my cousin's old clothes."
--[X] Now that it's been mentioned, you really should see about getting some different clothes. Maybe the robe store will have stuff besides just robes?

Snape maybe an asshole but he's a helpful asshole. He was a huge prick about it but he gave us useful advice about what we should buy.

[X] Actually, on second thought, you are going to let this stand.

It was just words.

I left off the second part because it seems too much like sucking up than I'd like.

Changed vote.
Hmm, this does seem like the wise choice.

-[X] I am lucky to even have these hand me downs from my morbidly obese cousin since my guardians seem to think me living in a cupboard is acceptable even though they have a spare room.
