The Night Haunter Or the Night King?
He actually has another check after this one. He is currently at -5, and passing this will take him to -1. The sanity DC however increases to 100 at this level.

you dun goofed...

The Night Haunter Or the Night King?
Konrad's Decision...
When Konrad made his choice whether to spare logar or eliminate him...he waited, Kesar was...important...to the future. To the future where He must not be the Bane of the Sane...where he can dream of laughter of brothers and sisters...of a future where that shining light waits patiently and calmly in a sea of fire and torment.

It was his only hope when the Nightmares came, when the visions threatened to throw him into seizures he held fast to that one vision, the very one that allowed him to fix his gaze upon that future and ignore the screams and sufferings of the dark future. At times when he was successful in this venture, he could almost hear the screams of the four as he denied them...

And at times, he could almost see himself standing next to him...not speaking nor giving any hints to what he was doing, but it was enough for Konrad Curze. It was his new choice after all these years...a chance to...redeem...himself.

It would not be a good road, and many of his brothers did not like him...but perhaps, perhaps he can learn what it means to be a good man from others. Yes Malcador the Sigilate would not give him what he needed to sleep for once. But it would lead to his ability to finally rest without nightmares haunting his every damn step. As it was, the only two he could think of right now would be Vulcan the Salamander, And Kesar himself. Knowing his brothers of the alpha legion (the few more pleasant by his standards visions showed their ascension into the many headed hydra who ventures into the darkness), he briefly wondered if he could perhaps learn a thing or two about them...and from them they may find that they have claws to render Justice upon the Warp-spawn.

Just thinking of the retribution upon the damned creatures brought a corpse-like grin on his face as he remembered his latest kill. The Daemon that had slaughtered so many innocent's had been-

It was in that moment he was slammed with a new vision, a different one...

Unlike others this one showed a different route, it started the same of when he landed on his home world of Nostramo...but when he had climbed out of his pod and its hole, this version of himself heard a femine scream. This confused Konrad Curze for a single moment, he had not heard such a thing on his home world. So with a distrustful gaze he watched as the youth that was his younger self come to the aid of a woman against her assailants…and he was felled after disemboweling the last of the wretches. She then did something that he just couldn't understand at the moment, she took him in.

She began to raise him, and even listen to his strikes against the gangs and the damned nobility that had perpetrated crimes against justice. She listened as he spewed forth every crime, every dark moment...and yet she never judged him.

Konrad Curze could not help but for a single moment Long for the woman, as if he was meeting a being he had never had. A missing piece of himself that was lost...and when he noticed changes, this Konrad was never as dark as he was. He watched as his other-self grew older and saw different lessons and techniques that both intrigued a part of him and left another in disgust about the lesser bloodshed and fear...yet...that part of him was smaller then normal.

He watched as over the years the woman got older, and while he did bring back small things, little things that would aid her in the times she never spoke much to him. Her mere presence being the balm to his soul that his current self never received...

And then he noticed a new pattern...whenever he spoke with the being he could perhaps call "Mother", the Younger Konrad Curze would look straight at him...no judgement, accusations, just a list of what he had done to the criminals. This rattled the night lord, and he began to wonder...even if only for a moment, could this have been his future if he had listened to the winds?

A sense of something he had never felt before wormed in his guts...before he pushed it out of his mind as he watched with a blur but still able to watch it, he watched himself finally grow to be what he was needed...yet, when he finally brought down the nobility of his spire, and war was upon the surface, new invaders came.

Eldar came in the droves, and began slaughtering the entire world, he watched as he rose up as master of the world, leading armies of the bedraggled people against the invaders, from the gangsters to the brutal enforces, those that followed him began a campaign of fear and guerilla strikes. In some cases open battle when the opportunity arose and offered the best chances. When the enemy had been bled enough, their leader came down, and offered a parlay to the world...

The Night Lord answered...and it was here that the biggest change happened. The woman followed after him, and after being shown to what he would become by the eldar lord...he offered his own head to prevent the future madness of the Night Haunter from coming into being. Before the Eldar lord could finish the blow, something happened...something...miraculous.

It was the woman had thrown herself into the execution strike, his own adopted mother who long listened to his list of torments he had unleashed, the sins he had committed in the name of justice...she sacrificed herself for him...

When he stood over his own other self's shoulder, she looked directly into their eyes...

"You are not a monster"

those 5 words...those little 5 words...they gave him the hope...that precious hope...

The Night Haunter Died Screaming, or was it locked away? But yet, rising from the ground after laying his mother to rest peacefully...the King of the Night rose like a shadow, cold chipped eyes Glaring at the one who had taken such a innocent life...the one who raised him.

Justice, Mercy, Retribution Called...

The Eldar Phoenix King never new what hit him when the King of the Night Unleashed his calm and collected wrath upon him.

Konrad Curze however looked at the corpse of the woman and kneeled before her...

"Thank you..." He whispered as the vision began to end, a sense of longing entered his heart...thoughts of his own home world entering his minds eye and new ideas entered...

perhaps while a group of his legion might not be salvageable, his home world…yes...Nostramo…perhaps it can be salvaged into what he saw.

Inter-Universal Conversation (non canon)
A Stellaris version of Tzeentch lambasting its Warhammer counterpart
"So, you enslaved this one mortal in order to help enslave the others of his kind? Why the hell don't you just give them a beneficial contract to both sides like come on, you are a version of myself and this is the best you can do with nearly unlimited sight? Thats what I do and it works out well for both sides; I get power and they get wonderful secrets giving us both more power and thus feeding into an infinite cycle of growing power. You on the other hand seem to work on the idea that is better to screw over everything in sight and try to break the walls between thought and reality down. Need I remind you that in your universe the End of the Cycle is still mostly sleeping rather than actually awake to any degree and guess what caused that event to happen. I give you three chances and the first two don't count unless you get them wrong."

"It might/It is/possibility questionable the answer. I know/not know/understand/hide/show what/question you/other/entity ask/question/query answer/unknown/known plan/order/chain complete/fulfilled/entire."

"Why the hell do I even bother talking to you? Its nearly impossible to even begin to comprehend what you mean half the time and the other half makes it really irritating as your actions bleed over into my home and cause my followers problems that they then blame on ME. This is the last time the Shroud and the Warp will meet at this point. I think that I might just have to give one particular person some attention."

"Impossibly/undoable/unacceptability."

"Good bye shadow of myself or vision of myself. Corrupted beyond all hope of recovery and doomed to foil your own plans and to weave an impossible plan that can never work. You don't even have true sapience really endless repeating the same actions over and over with different pieces but nothing changes. Pockets of ideas spawned to test possibilities but nothing comes of them. Locked into your path for all time unchanging what a sad state to be in. Just remember that the End Of The Cycle exists within your warp only still fully asleep but if your "plan" succeeds then it will awaken. We got close to that point but managed to halt the End through unity. I doubt that you four could hope to stave off the End."

Oh shit. I see someone else is a fan of the Roboutian Heresy.

indeed, and can we connect to the shroud? That Tzeentch sounds like a alright guy to me! the thousand sons can even get a beneficial deal out of it, and the other shroud gods (besides the end of the cycle) get a better deal because 19 other legions (if we can get logar back if the emps soul-blasts him like a sand-blaster to fix him up) can get their own patrons...

that and the shroud is 100% better then the warp! hands down!

Delver Antonuis and Bastet (non canon)
Delver Antonius was looking over reports that he had been given from study and observation of Bastet the most intriguing being to enter the city in the better part of a century since Magnus' landed upon the world. When ever he passed near her location he would feel like something was ever so slightly off base. This had lead to him doing all he could to observe her powers and to investigate her nature as he couldn't dismiss the possibility that she was a warp predator in the same vein as the psychneuein that once lived on the surface of Prospero. So far nothing seemed off about her and for that matter no one that he had talked to seemed to feel anything off about her presence. However, he couldn't shake the nagging feeling that something was different about her more than just being an animal could explain. He needed a better connection to her than just passive observation would allow. Currently he was only confirming that something was amiss, however he wasn't finding anything that would show or explain why he felt like this. The best he could compare the feeling too is what happens when a psychically sensitive person has their mind read and knows intuitively that something was off but couldn't put it into words.

Only he was the best telepath on this world and ran the school for teaching others in the arts of the telepaths as well. He had even worked with Leader Magnus in years past to deal with the personality absorption that powerful telepaths suffered from. His work and teachings had allowed the students that would have once been considered cursed to read the minds of others with great ease, to find peace and to fortify their minds against other personalities and memories from others. This made him certain that he was picking up some sort of psychic interference from Bastet that was close enough to the energy of a telepath that he was picking it up while others weren't just yet. The key was that he was both the most powerful and experienced telepath on Prospero and the nearby worlds, on top of this his affinity for the telepathic arts was of such potency that he could barely even use the weakest of other workings. He also knew that his affinity was for a narrow breath of the arts of the telepaths as well, he could connect and read the minds of hundreds of thousands of people but couldn't control even one mind at all. All of this put into a cohesive whole implied that his affinity and nature where close enough to Bastet's affinity that he was suffering from some form of interference or other such phenomenon.

Over the next few weeks Antonius worked to get a meeting with Linda and Bastet for a good block of time so as to ensure that he would learn as much as he could about Bastet's nature and powers, hopefully getting rid of this annoying wrongness around her. Once the meeting was scheduled all that was left was to wait for the day to come. At the meeting Antonius made sure to have Bastet use most of her powers even the ones that she had learned from Leader Magnus to ensure that he had the best sight of her powers as he could. The first thing that he saw is that her affinity was off kilter from normal humans. Even if he could barely use the other paths he still could do so with effort, which is why he was a psyker and not an astropath. Unlike the feeling that he got from other psykers, up close the difference was obvious to his sight. Delving deeper into his power he was able to gaze upon Bastet's soul as he would in the first days of training a new student to determine their affinity. Her soul was different from most other souls that he had studied or seen. Most souls had a form of rigidity to them with some flexibility to allow for growth but hers was almost malleable in a state of constant flux. From what he could tell her soul was able to grow or compress as she needed or wished, this also explained how she was able to grow in power by absorbing energy from other psykers as her soul would simply grow larger or denser to hold the added energy. The crystals also had a new purpose revealed in that they provided a form of structure to her soul as well as aid in her directing her powers. Without them she wouldn't suffer but would function at a far degraded level due to having to manage her soul consciously instead of relying on the crystals and her powers. The finial key he found is that due to this changing soul she was able to focus her energies on the soul far more efficiently than other forms of psyker arts.

After the meeting and the subsequent revelations Antonius was working on trying to hammer the facts into a cohesive whole. The veil that affected people was easy enough power to explain as she was using her soul to reach out to other souls to hide her nature from them. In truth she wasn't invisible but instead she seemed to be an inanimate object to outside observers. This caused cognitive dissonance when trying to find her as the soul told the mind that she was not there but the mind told the soul that she was there. This lead to her being all but unfindable to beings that had souls. The far harder part was figuring out how she fooled cameras and other such devices even through recordings, as a permeant warp effect was nearly impossible to maintain like that, there had to be another answer. After days of work he figured it out to fool the cameras she simply bent the light around her while expanding her soul outward in a cloud while most of it anchored to her body. This allowed her to move unseen and to know where everything was at the same time. Testing her head popping power on some rats netted him some good information regarding how dangerous her powers could be as instead of overloading the brains or igniting a fire of some sort she simply cause the being's soul to effectively explode with energy. She would force energy into the soul of the target and that energy would then seek a way out as the soul can't contain the energy and the simplest way out was through the head which ended with the skull popping. The last thing he had noticed is that she had what amount to tendrils of her soul linking to other people, two of these tendrils where much more prominent than the others and one of them terminated in Linda's soul the other flew off-world fast leading him to think that it was Leader Magnus on the other side.

the shroud is not part of Warhammer it might be possible to reach it through the Well of Eternity or what ever that thing is called. All shroud gods are similar to the warp gods but far nicer. Shroud Tzeentch gives massive research buffs with the possibly that one or two scientists to go insane. Shroud Khorne is the worst of the bunch and gives good bonuses to war but might eat some billions of your people if it gets hungry. Shroud Nurgle is very happy to help you have more children and have more options for genetic modding but with a possibility of mutations. Shroud Slaanesh makes you have more goods (minerals, consumer and alloys basically everything) but every so often you have a case where people just need that new model laptop every year. The shroud gods only make one covenant with one race or nation however and their version of Nex is awake.

Then, we have the lasgun being improved with higher reload speed and larger magazines. I'm making this canon, although it is going to be changed in a few ways. Firstly, I'm going to make this a specialist weapon and give it some drawbacks such as lower accuracy. Secondly, it's going to be partially innovated by a few tech priests from Mars. For your reward:

[] +5 to a roll of the GM's choice
[] +10 to implementing a newly designed set of weapons (Set for release Year 20)
[] Kelbor gets 1 year of progress on his current action

What would the set of weapons do for us and what does Kelbor do right now actually?

Edit: Also, do you want to have the Post edited to suit canon?

Year 16 Part 14
[X] Murder prep
-[X] Kesar, Alpharius, Omegon, Sevatar, all of the Astartes, and the Titans fight and attempt to kill the Changeling and the Lord of Change
-[X] Delta goes Stealth Mode, setting up for a sneak attack in the future
-[X] The fleet does another orbital bombardment of Lorgar if they can do so safely.
-[X] Konrad and the rest of the Night Lords make their way to the Changeling fight just in case
-[X] Solarus continues traveling to the Changeling fight

Solarus smiled as the lava erupted into the air. The sheer amount of explosions and power was eye-watering. Truly, nothing was better. His brothers disagreed, however. One continued to vomit into a bucket, while another continued to pray. As the Stormbird entered the dangerous area, the Mad Bomber smiled. "Finally, something has gone right."

The 27th Captain gunned the engines, and the Astartes screamed. The Stormbird rocketed forward into the smoke as the Mad Bomber laughed. Then, the newly formed volcano erupted. The molten rock surged towards the Stormbird with the force of a god.

As the toxic gases coated the air and their armor melted, the Wardens aboard the Stormbird screamed in terror. The copilot had just managed to control themselves and stop vomiting, but immediately afterward, the volcano caused this to resume. The Astartes who prayed looked upon the volcanic eruption before passing out. Two more simply froze up, their eyes darting all over the place. The last, however, simply took out a small device. Inserting a plug into a small port on the Stormbird, a sound was emitted.

Solarus smiled and laughed a joyous smile. "THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!" The engines flared even more, and the Stormbird tilted upwards. Then, like a bat out of hell, the ship accelerated directly upwards. Faster and faster, the ship flew upwards as the G forces began to strain the hull. But the molten rock below continued to gain on them. The distance closed, even as Solarus managed to find the switch to dump the external munitions. The loss of weight increased the acceleration as the Mad Bomber pressed a button repeatedly. As the music increased in volume, the 27th Captain looked down at the pillar of lava which was now just 4 meters away.

The ship continued to fly upwards, faster and faster it flew, even as the engines began to chug. The Machine Spirit screamed as it refused to be caught in the lava. Faster than ever before, the ship flew faster than any before. Soaring into the sky, Solarus smiled and laughed, and was about to point the Stormbird down to get their faster. Pressing the elevator down, the Mad Bomber stopped at the disapproving glare of the one calm Warden. "… Fine." Solarus smiled before his face turned brittle as the Stormbird cleared the smoke cloud.

As the void stared at them, the Astartes saw an expanding cloud of debris. And at the heart of it was the back half of a Battle Barge which slammed into the planet before it vaporized. The Wardens looked over at Solarus who had cracked the joystick. "This. Is. The. WORST!" The Mad Bomber screamed for a moment before calming down. As he began mumbling equations, the rest of the Wardens paused.

"Did you expect this?"

"I … expected much more rage." The 27th Captain grabbed a dataslate and began to enter ideas and equations. The one Astartes who had remained calm looked over before speaking.

"Add a blastplate." Solarus stopped before scribbling.

"Yes, yes, yes. YES!" The Astartes frantically scribbled before slamming the design down on a table. The rest of the Wardens looked over at the design before two of them just blanched. The other Astartes simply glanced at it before sighing.

"Why would you ever need this?" The last Warden, Zachariah, the one that remained calm throughout simply raised a thumb and nodded. With the volcanic region finally passed, the Stormbird continued forward, albeit at a far slower pace, and much bumpier ride, as the machine spirit inside decided to have some form of retribution for its near death.

*Stormbird Relic Gained – Cuts travel times by a round. Reroll when shot down.*

Delta moved as the Changeling continued to track him. It was irritating how his skill kept being countered by the daemon. But, Delta kept trying.

The Changeling shifted forms rapidly as the Primarchs pressed him hard. With Sevatar present, his openings had been completely closed off. Shifting to the Masque to try and gain some distance, he was blocked off by fire from a Titan. Turning into Khan for a moment, the daemon just managed to avoid a strike from Kesar as the XIth hesitated for just a moment.

Looking at the situation, the Changeling screamed internally. This was beyond bad for him. In the moment of hesitation, Kesar leaped back, and the twin Hydras joined Sevatar and blocked the Changeling's path. As Sevatar jabbed his chain spear, Omegon cut off the Changeling's desired path with the Pale Spear. Simultaneously, Alpharius swung around and moved to flank the daemon. Roaring, the Changeling turned back into Doombreed as Kesar reached the last Lord of Change.

One swing. That's all it took for Kesar to evaporate the daemon. Without the Changeling to focus on, the Daemonsbane dealt with the Lord of Change in just 2 seconds. Meanwhile, the twins and Sevatar dodged and wove around the Changeling. Strike after strike was dodged, and the Changeling was slowly tired out. Then, Kesar stepped into the fray once more.

The Changeling turned into the form of Ku'Gath immediately. Just in time for Kesar's sword to pierce his new body. As Epitaph sliced through daemonic flesh, the Changeling screamed in pain before Kesar pulled out the sword and leaped back.

The daemon roared and swept out his arms as he shifted forms. Turning into an ever-shifting form, the Changeling unleashed hell upon Aleph. The air turned to glass as the Changeling spoke a single word. "Kneel!"

Around him, the Wardens slammed into the ground as even their will wasn't enough to stop the action. As the Astartes around them fell to the ground, Sevatar screamed as his body betrayed him. The Prince of Crows roared even as his legs collapsed under him. Yet, he didn't kneel. Instead, he simply keeled over. Snarling while on the ground, the Night Lord raged, even as Alpharius and Omegon simply looked at the Changeling.

"So … "

"… which …"

"… one …"

"… of …"

"… us …"

"… is …"

"… it ?"

The Changeling stared for a moment, glancing back and forth between the two. "Are you fucking kidding me?" There was no way for the Changeling to tell. Even their souls were identical. Hell, even the souls of all the Alpha Legionaries looked identical. Wait, there was one that was different. The Changeling looked directly at Delta who simply smiled.

The Astartes patted the leg of a Titan before speaking. "If you would." The God Machine roared in anticipation. At last, the God Machine would unleash its fury. The Warlord Class Titan fired its mega bolter directly at the Changeling. The daemon tried to dodge, but it was simply too late. The shots hit the Changeling and tore through it. As it screamed in pain, it still managed to get close to the Titan and inside its firing arc. Screaming hatred towards Delta, the Changeling marched forward and switched to Doombreed.

"ALPHARIUS!"

"Well, that's unfortunate." Delta turned and ran, with the Changeling in close pursuit. The Changeling smiled as it was convinced it had finally found the Astartes it wanted. Then, the daemon charged. Spinning in midair, the Changeling morphed into a dragon before roaring and spitting flames of ice. Even with the hellscape around them, the very air froze as Delta rapidly dodged.

Then, the Primarchs closed once more. Kesar led the charge and fired Sagita thrice. The bullets hit the Changeling, but this time, they did something. In draconic form, the daemon was weaker, and the bullets tore through him. The Changeling screamed once more. Falling to the ground, the Primarchs and Sevatar once more closed on the daemon.

Omegon threw the Pale Spear into the air and the Hydra caught it. Sevatar lashed forward with his spear and the Changeling turned back into Doombreed. Twirling around the strike, the Changeling gurgled as it found the Pale Spear in its gut. Omegon smiled as Alpharius struck the Changeling. Then, the daemon screamed for the fourth time.

With the Changeling distracted, Sevatar stabbed his spear into the Changeling's arm. In response, the daemon swung his ax and it was intercepted by Omegon. The Hydra smirked before speaking. "Hydra Dominatus."

Kesar stood from his crouched position and stabbed Epitaph into the Changeling once more. The daemon screamed as it nearly collapsed. This was not good. Then, it got worse.

Omegon drew a sword, and the Changeling froze. That, that wasn't possible. "That's not possible."

Inscribed on the sword was a word that would drive mortal insane. An unpronounceable true name was inscribed on it. The true name of the Changeling. The daemon trembled in fear for a moment before Omegon took a step forward. The trembling continued when the Hydra swung the sword at the daemon.

The trembling stopped, and the Changeling desperately blocked the strike. Distracted, the daemon couldn't avoid the normal chainsword that was driven into its chest. As it was disoriented, Kesar slammed into its backside before Omegon switched swords with Kesar. The Daemonsbane slammed his leg into the Changeling's, and the daemonic bone shattered. Striking downwards with the weapon that contained the Changeling's true name, Kesar stumbled as his strike met nothing but air. The daemon smiled as it swam in the lava. They would never catch him now. The Changeling never did notice the Hydra's grin.

Diamondback painted the IR laser on Lorgar as he waited for the fleet above to get into position. It was tiring to be near Lorgar, but their will was strong. The Alpha Legionaries counted down till the bombardment whilst organizing back up sensors.

In orbit above, a Lost Warden adjusted the coordinates. After staring at the sensor readings for far too long, the captain of the Cherished Son caved. His will broke, and his soul was damned. Counting down, the Lost Astartes spoke a command. "Fire."

"Captain, that was a rather daemonic voice." As he spoke, the Cherished Son screamed in protest, but fired nonetheless. The lance and macrocannons slammed into the ground, 200 meters from Lorgar. Directly on the Alpha Legionaries. "… Oh shit."

Diamondback's world was pain. The Astartes was lifted by the explosions and was thrown away from Lorgar, onto a small mound. The lava arched around him as Diamondback felt his leg burn off. The Alpha Legionary lay there, barely alive. The Astartes blinked before silently swearing. Forcing himself to move, the Alpha Legionary place one arm on the ground and pulled himself forward. Glancing around, Diamondback swore that he would find what happened.

In space above, the Wardens drew their weapons. "Dogpile the Lost!" In response, the Lost One once known as Jadis Berst drew his chainsword and Volkite. 10 Wardens charged him. The first 2 died from two shots. The third was beheaded and the fourth was kicked in the throat. The fifth died as a Volkite was fired point-blank into his face.

The sixth landed a sword strike, but Berst shrugged it off and riposted with his chainsword. The Warden fell, then the seventh died from the backswing. The eight fired his Volkite while the last two charged Jadis. The Captain ducked and leaped into the air. Firing his weapon in midair, the last three Wardens collapsed.

The alarm blared as Jadis sprinted towards the hanger. Dodging patrols, the Lost Captain heard the clank of a Dreadnaught, just a second before he rounded the corner. In front of him was Hektor, the Dreadnaught from Valhalla. "Lost … " The Dreadnaught's speakers rumbled as Hektor drew a power mace. "… you besmirch your position … " The hallways echoed as the Dreadnaught stepped forward. "… as captain, and slay your own kin…" A power mace crackled as Hektor was illuminated in its glow. "You have made your grave."

Jadis Berst snarled as he charged. "Even in death. You cannot see the Truth." The Lost Warden fired his Volkite and the thermal beams simply bounced off Hektor. The Dreadnaught raised his power mace and slammed down on the Lost One's skull. Within an instant, the fallen Astartes died.

"I see the true ruin and death." Stepping on the Lost One, Hektor continued. "I refuse to fall."

Below, Lorgar finally located a group of Wardens. A total of 3 Astartes, separated from the rest. Lorgar smiled before speaking. The words weren't meant to be spoken. Every single phrase was supernaturally charming. The Wardens listened for a moment. Just one. And at that moment, a single Astartes was Lost. His two brothers turned on him in an instant. The three clashed in a masterful display of skill.

The Lost Astartes dodged a strike from one and parried the others. While the first was off balance, he went to strike but was forced to block a strike from the other loyal Warden. The duel was masterful and brilliant. It was skill at its finest. A miracle of devotion. One loyal to Lorgar, the other two, loyal to their father. Yet, the duel came to an end, not by either of their hands, but by a Primarch.

Lorgar Aurelian stepped forth, and the loyal Wardens didn't die as expected. Instead, they adjusted tactics. The two slowly stepped back farther and farther, buying time with distance. Diamondback drew his Volkite and began to aim from his position. It would be a difficult shot, but it was possible. As he steadied his breathing, the duel continued.

Michael and Gabriel were not happy with this. They did not want to fight a Primarch ever. Yet, here they were, fighting Lorgar and their fallen brother Salem. Michael stepped back as Lorgar swing missed once more. Gabriel took advantage of this and fired a three-round burst at Salem, who dodged once more. When the Urizen charged Gabriel however, the Primarch made a mistake. A lava flow shifted and the Primarch stepped in it. Michael took advantage and fired his Volkite point blank. The shot struck Lorgar directly between the legs as the Wardens winced in unison.

Lorgar momentarily staggered before snarling in a higher pitch than normal. "You'll pay for that."

As the Urizen charged the Wardens, they noticed that his movement was far slower. Michael and Gabriel smirked, even as their souls were ground down by Lorgar's corruptive nature.

As the Changeling turned into one of the Alpha Legionaries, it smiled as it blended in. His disguise was perfect. While it wouldn't hold for long, he just needed enough to heal. As it did, Alpharius and Omegon smirked and looked at Kesar. The XIth Primarch just narrowed his eyes. "No."

The twins deflated instantly. "But, it would be so much fun."

"Please?" The two Hydras looked at Kesar pleadingly. Kesar stared back, his titanic will completely focused on preventing the Hydras from changing his mind. It didn't matter. His will crumbled with seconds. The snake eyes they made were simply too much to handle.

"… Fine." The twins instantly beamed and began their plan. As they did, they began to decide what they should do. Currently, the Changeling was hiding in a group of 10 Alpha Legionaries. It was currently isolated and the Astartes were aware of its presence. Then the Hydras struck.

Diamonback Avoids Friendly Fire: 38 + 20 (Astartes) – 20 (Alpha Legion) = 38

oh god can someone find something to truly humiliate the damn changeling?

I have some ideas...but I don't think they are feasi-wait...this is the alpha legion, of course they could do that shit!

........I think after this mission is done we need a vacation cause right now I feel rage at how this changeling wont just fraking die already! Big E is going to owe us for killing a primordial deamon and weaking Tze and hopefully killing the changeling and catch logar.......we really need a vacation so bad after this...

everyone involved needs a fucking vacation/day off...its like Kharn's day off from if the emperor watched TTSD extras...(they were watching the red rivers talk about kharn and how bro he is)

Kharn really needs a day off more then 1 every decade or so with how the world eaters work and how much damn stress he has to go through being Angron's second man.

holy fuck were catching up to Ilbgar123's game! im also on an extra Primarch, also what do you guys think serras would feel about Kesar being so anti-demon? I'm pretty sure they would get along famously....since I'm seeing so many of similar players on the same two games.

She'd probably be cool with the anti-daemon thing, though deride is for the minimal effort put into Runes and applaud us for working to fix the mechanicus and up technology overall. She'd likely be sad by the amount of Wardens that have been killed off with what the past 16 years or so, because aren't we still only 16 years into us being on the crusade and we've escalated rather intensely.

Unlikely, while we'd get along cordially and be rather friendly, it's been established that Kesar's preference for friends is most definitely Alpha and Omega till the end. Aka the thread going hardcore into saving them, so glad I brought up the argument that we should do it and that we did it. That was the greatest game changer possible

I got two prank ideas...not sure if they would work-

[] Prank idea 1: First Alpharius and Omegron cover Kesar in a Honorary Alpha-legionary holo-field and then proceed to order the Alpha legion to do a importune song and dance...

which during the time Kesar (while the changeling beings to freak the fuck out) gets into position to kill the fucker.
____________
the second one is a bit more....crazy and possible hilarious.
____________
[] Prank Idea 2: All at once, all the alpha legion as one let out of crow...not just any crow...but one Alpharius (or was it Omergron) got from the Well of eternity...

one that terrifies the fuck out of every Gamer and Nerd (which the changeling is one)...

The Cucco Revenge Squadron...

All the while the Alpha Legionaries immediately turn on the one not one of them, and either chant two things...

"ONE OF US, ONE OF US, ONE OF US"
or
"MINE, MINE, MINE"

all the while the cry of the Cucco is screaming into both the warp and in real-space...

just to REALLY dig in the dagger into Tzeentch (NERD, bet the blue skinned mollusk cant even beat the game because he HAS to kill the cucco for one of his ingenious plans to work...and always dies because he cant change the target, only the means to kill it)

_________

That's all for now...

this is why we need our astartes to have ear-plugs.

@Daemon Hunter can we put ear-plugs in as a new standard gear? even if it might not work on Lorgar (since apparently his corruption doesn't need audio to work based off the moment with the 3 astartes) I can't help but wonder if it would help for other corruption attempts

Lorgar's corruption level is so high it's not the words he speaks but the fact that he's speaking them that's corrupting. Ear plugs wouldn't help unless they were blessed by the Emperor himself.

Also speaking of Lorgar, why do people want to save him? As much as Kesar might want revenge his hands are full.
