The Long Night Part Two: Sparks at Midnight: A Planetary Governor Quest (43k)

I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't get a divination focus out of this
Actually, @Durin, how effective would a Trueglass crystal ball be as a divination focus? Between the existing properties of Trueglass, and the narrative weight of crystal balls in divination, it seems like it would synergize very well. Unless the crystal ball has fallen out of the cultural consciousness of the 45th millenium?

possibly good if your current disciplines used cystal balls

The newest edition of the emoji prophecy. We did spend a significant number of GDs on this stuff, after all.

If true glass is impervious to chaos...
Would it be possible to make our congitators of trueglass...
Making then impervious to scrapcode?

that would be nice;

but I somehow suspect that using trueglass in place of silicon might weaken the effect?
its like making a telescope but then burying it inside a robot's chest I feel like.

don't get me wrong, worth checking but...

@Durin, I've thought up a scheme. Is it viable and helpful?

1. Ridcully divines and Jane kills to prepare for the scheme.
2. Jane kills a member of the Ezekarion and Vlad takes their place. At the same time, Vlad uses the ciphers to pull off a ruse that hurts the Black Imperium. Using the ciphers reveals that Ridcully snagged them, which would normally hurt Vlad's new cover, but not this time since he'll be in place to receive the new ciphers.
3. In the short time Vlad can retain his cover, he messes up the Black Imperium again, and harder. With two damaging attacks, one less Ezekarion member, and the Black Imperium trusting their own stuff less, Vlad will be in a better - or less worsened - position.

it looks risky but viable

Whatever happened to the Black Templars? Don't remember it being mentioned anywhere about what happened to them. That said wouldn't be surprised to find out they fell to Tjapa.

Malal, actually. Tjapa got some, but most of them went Malalite. It probably was the constant hatred that got them. Durin did say he'd redesign Tjapa to be more about Hatred than Tyrannny if he was able to, though, so that's where the thematic clash is coming from.

Discord said:
2. Did any Black Templars not fall to Tjapa?
2. most of them, they fell to Malal instead

1. Just to clarify, did more Black Templars fall to Malal or Tjapa?
1. more fell to Malal

This is actually all the way from 2019, so quite a while back.

New questions and answers. It was taking a while to do and at the end noticed it is over half as big as I usually aim for before doing, oops.
1) Does the AO actually identify as male, or are the male pronouns just there for convenience (and he doesn't mind)?
1) male,is used for convenience

2) Has Vlad switched over to stalling (as opposed to maximum damage) after being told of his role in the Singularity?
2) he has

3) Has Zahhak changed her behavior/plans after being told that she is an assassination target(ee)?
3) yes

1) IC, how sure are we that "Malcador" is Be'lakor? 80%?
2) around 90%

1) Is Cegorach available to be pulled out to direct Singularity-related operations, like bluffing Zahhak being somewhere she's not?
1) he is not

5) Tied up on the Dragon Front?
5) yep

2) Although it does not affect the results, Ridcully did not get a +20 (Double) on his attempts to Divine the Singularity
2) oops

3) What set of eight rolls that didn't go above a 32 were you discussing earlier?
3) Ridcullys divinations

4) How good at therapy for mortals (and other gods and godlike entities) would a hypothetical god of Therapy be, given the mental disconnects common to gods?
4) for mrotals not great
for other gods pretty good

5) Does the Anatolian have the souls of humans, an afterlife and all that... or does he not?
5) he does not

6) The Triumvirate/Concordat offloaded their afterlife to Ynnead right..? So does this mean that dead worshippers of the Triumvirate/Concordat can be rezzed by Isha/Priest of Isha? Looking at their presumably Paragon characters which they surely have
6) yes
yes
7) Does Muspelheim have records of Avernus acting during the Iron War? Even if it is a vague 'and mysterius energy beams which we are now sure was probably the Serpent destroyed all the MoI in X LYs around Avernus' or thereabouts
7) it does not
what it does have is the fact that the fleets that took out the helheimers seemed to have vansiehd after winning
even after counting the hulks

1) Looking at that Guardian Ape offer: I remember that it was thought the biggest weakness of trust armies was melee combat. Does this mean we hav eanother group of auxileries to shore this up, or are they not useful for this task compared to other duties?
1a) If they're not useful compared to other duties, what role would they best play?
1) it does

2) Is the issue with Warproot that the people growing it on the Hidden Continent won't share how they grow it, or something else? I figure we coudl ask around.
2) that it jsut does not seem to grow elsewhere
probebly something to do with the downright werd warp conditions of that area

3) What would it take for Maximal to study Warproot in their native habitat?
3) risking amjor chance of him dying

4) Can gods of negative domains bless people by taking away those things, or can that only work for curses?
4) they can

6) There's 20 Security Forces in the plan but only 16 action years were used in the update
6) yeah, the excess got moved to admin
youc an only have Jane do 1 hunting or walking the path action a year

1) I'm looking at the spreadsheet, and in the Building Cost section, we apparantly own 2 Huge Psyker Hives and 7 Large Psyker Hives? I think there is something weird there. They have a total of like 5.7 mil EM upkeep? (It's in a comment)
1) that is a name issue
your Large ended up as Huge on the spreadsheet for some reason
EDIT: no it isnt
added 40 million Em and 10 million AM

1) What did Ants have to say once shown the stats and numbers for Avernus (pop,Psykers, ability, production, etc.)? I mean the humans.
1) not gone into so unknown

2) do we know if anyone is trying to use primal to grow warproot?
2) you dont

3) What's the DC for Hunting the easiest member of the Ezekarion?
3) DC 420/370

1) Do we know the DC for Jane attempting the 9th step?
1) no

2) What would it look like? Exalted? High end Honored?
2) probebly an weak exalted

3) Has any psyker tried duplicating Aria's Ka-Sa infusion for anti-Ka, with a friendly Ka user? And a lot of Ka tolerance
3) a few have
so far no success

4) DC survival chance for Jane if air dropped into the invisible continent with a knife and shoes 😛
4) low
she can deal with most of the threats fine
but not dehydration

5) Can we just ask now if Avernite human souls are all with the Mother of Death?
5) you can

1) The Hunting actions seem to be missing +5 from their totals. I believe this is enough to take the 8th from Critical Success to Greater Critical Success.
1) thanks

2) Air drop her into a Bunyip swamp what's her chances looking like then 😛 + water - Bunyips?
2) meduin

1) By any chance, would this in Void Dragon War Lesser Divs:
1st d100=6+52(stats)+120(traits)+10(Seer Council)-100(Dragonmen)+10(Star Chamber)+5(stunt)=103: Success
1st re-roll d100=9+52(stats)+120(traits)+10(Seer Council)-100(Dragonmen)+10(Star Chamber)+15(Paragon Seer)+5(stunt)=121: Success
Have had a shot at Tzeentch Crit? (Or Slaneesh Crit)
1) no
chaos cant really help with this

1) Is the problem with making an ensouled AI making the soul or not making a machine spirit? Or making a soul and a machine spirit.
1) melding the two

1) How difficult is Be'lakor to divine compared to a non-Tzeentch Chaos God?
1) easier

2) just to be sure, I take it an ensouled IA would be acceptable by the Mechanicum and so be able to be used in a STC ?
2) yes

3) Does this mean that barring weird isolated technology/one off wonders if Surt succeed the Trust will have 100% reclaimed the technological heights of the DAOT ?
3) yes

4) Is Plague a subdomain of Sickness? Is Sickness even a thing?
a) If so, does Sickness cover injuries, including battlefield ones, or is it just non-intentionally-violent ailments like cancer and chronic pain?
4) Sickness is not a ting

https://forums.sufficientvelocity.c...k.65378/page-1530?post=29086127#post-29086127
5) Assuming an ensoulled AI has the right temperament, could Areatha give one a witch mark to turn them into a psyker?
4) yes
probebly

6) Just checking since she's looked in a lot of necrons, is it fair to say that all necrons even the ones without any intelligence have a tiny bit of fake Sa, but only the sentient ones have a lot?
6) yes

7) Did Tamia make the Eldar do a double take upon presenting her rituals?
7) she did
particulary Spacequake

1) Good enough for their use?
1) yes

2) Is Spacequake a notable...not gamechanger but gamenudger on the Dragon Front?
2) it is

3) Like how cracking a planet makes it easier to mine, does the fracturing of spacetime make it easier for necrons to mine it for use in their chronomantic technologies?
3) not really
easier but more dangerous
evens out

4) Is Spacequake relevant to Imbac?
4) no

5) What happens if you fire off Spacequake while a fleet's in the AoE?
5) is it FTL or STL
if its STL probbly not much
if its FTL, bad things

6) If we suddenly won the Long Night in the next two turns (due to us rolling nothing but crits vs the VD and Chaos rolling not but crit fails) without Jane managing to raise her combat stat above 60, how long would it be expected to take for Jane to reach her current combat cap of 70 through sheer length of time spent training alone?
6a) If she before the Long Night was managed to JaneDice herself into getting another Transcendent but with still no base combat stat increases, how much longer would training to combat 70 be expected to take compared to when she only had 1 Transcendent?
(I'm essentially just curious on the timescale required to raise a combat stat from 60-70 absent being able to powerlevel it through fighting shitloads of scary stuff)
6) millions of years
6a) not much different

1) Is luck an esoteric effect for the purposes of Jane's transcendent? Not luck manipulation, pure luck
1) no

1) Is shadows not a strong domain? If without the CG Be'lakor would only be at honoured? Cause I assume he had some psycic power pre ascension and he has shadows as an unrestricted domain?
1) he does not have it unrestricted

2) Does the way that a Transcendent effects trait gain for non-base stat increasing traits like Paragons differ from how it effects trait gain for stat increasing traits like Jane's Avernite Bi-centenarian trait then?
2) yes

3) How good is our theoratical knowledge of Chaos Sorcery? Like.. compared to Chaos Sorcerers/Institutes.
3) on par with most trained and experienced Sorceror Lords

4) Is there enough Confusion in the galaxy to sustain a Great God again?
4) no

5) What domains did Tzeentch have before Belakor made his deal and became the first daemon prince ever?
5) you dont know

6) How much would hiring exorbitant amounts of Hidden continent-tier Mercs to protect Max reduce the danger by?
6) you dont know
not anywhere near safe

1) How would Jane do as a guard for Max besides being bored a bit?
1) decent at best
her skillset is not great for a bodyguard

1) Does Jane have better then even odds for gaining a trait for the results of her Hunting actions this turn?
1) no

2) Given the relatively low cost, large size, and long duration, could Warp Surge be useful for improving the output of psyker artisans?
2) no

3) Is it within our psychic architecture understanding to try and build like, an 'awakening' chamber to simply cause latent psychic powers (if present) to manifest?
3) maybe

4) Actually for that matter how do we awaken the psychic power of a latent psyker?
4) mostly via a teleapth

5) If I see oddities in the calculations and results, particularly cases of "shouldn't that be a critical success?", should I bring them here? Or - if they're minor - just ignore them?
5) brings them up here

6) When did Tzeentch first show up? Was it during or after the Aftermath?
6) right at the end of the aftermath

4) So officially the end of that Singularity was the rise of the Eldar Dominion, but if you ignored that, could you just about say the appearance of Tzeentch marked the end of the Aftermath Singularity?
4) you could

7) would true Orichalcum be a viable true material?
7) maybe

8) On the critical existence failure scale where 10 is total reality collapse, 5 is a fundamental force like gravity no longer existing, and 4 is the Dragon dying, where is Tzeentch's birth being made completely impossible estimated to be?
8) you dont know

9) Just for reference, can a 1 on that scale be described as a glitch everyone with advanced enough tech notices, which forces people to recalibrate their more esoteric machines, but it's otherwise business as usual?
9) yes

10) What's the DC for Jane arresting the easiest Ezekarion member?
10) 500

11) The 7th hunting action qualifies as a Critical Success.
11) so it does

12) How closer was Ridcully's deck to becoming an Artefact before it got destroyed?
12) not very

1) Just so we keep perspective, is it safe to say that Tamia's rituals are good for tech level, but eldar/krork have and use better already? Like same effect, fewer people, doesn't fuck up reality.
1) for many cases yes
though Tamia tends to check what gaps they ahve and try and fill those gaps

1) For these ones I'm very surprised these would be gaps? Feel like kinda basics for anti ka?
1) holes riped in the eldar tech tree
spacequake for example was Mathlam alinged

2) I take it we also can't use it around necrons, or is their tech sufficiently low tech? Compared to the dragon.
2) cant be used near the better necron gear

3) Sorry if this has been asked before but can we comission Vulkan or the Elder to make a Divination focus Artefact for Ridcully?
3) you can

5) How many daemons of Grandmaster level or higher has Ridcully detected attempting to divine him?
5) dozens

6) Are there any ways of getting rid of psykerness for psykers who don't want to be psykers?
6) no

7) Does Tzeentch count as a daemon for the purposes of the Ghosthelm of Vaul?
7) unknown

8) would true glass monocles help Navigators?
8) see update

1) And they never recreated it? I know Tamia has advantages (lizardmen assistance being the largest one), but it took her a year, assuming 1 year per ritual? I know they're busy, but that seems strange...
1) 2 years
and paragon reaserchers speilising in creating rituals are actualy sort of rare

1) Seems like they lack a lot of the people I assume they have. Regardless, what are the basic anti ka rituals then? I assumed rituals like spacequake didn't work because fracturing space time at that kind of scale wouldn't have any effect on the localised reality of ka?
1) several variations of flooding the area with sa
A few Eldritch storm types
And a lot of fateweaving designed to work around ka

2) Since it came up, is it safe to assume Areatha knew what psy frequencies and the like were when we discovered them? otherwise given how much of her knowledge base we'd have discovered for her we'd have to reclassify her as an idiot savant.
2) she does

3) This shouldn't need a question, but I assume that learning the laws of the warp which have been compared to learning about the laws of gravity and are apparently fundamental to any even moderately mature warp tradition have been discovered on Avernus at least at some point in past? Just a possibility.
3) yes by pretty much everyone
Varying levels of details of course

1) Doylist I assume its cause we were learning what those things were, Watsonian pretending so as to not overly influence a nascent tradition especially with her poor ability to teach?
1) yes

2) A few Eldritch storm types: How is that different to quake?
2) less effecting space more messing with tech

3) Why does the quake work on the dragon's advanced tech? Since Ka reinforces local reality I assumed stuff like that couldn't affect it, because its operating so far beyond what the normal laws of reality allow it doesn't give a damn anymore.
3) ka doesnt reallyignore thelaws of reality like that
just modify them

4) Similarly, Sirens have songweaving and have been using it for ages, Tamia is the inventor of human song weaving.
4) yes

5) What was it that we figured out that made Areatha go "Why didn't I think of that?"?
5) the Nynye/Mycnid combo that you suggested

1) Would it cause a cold shower down Zerenax's back if he learned that our best Pyromancer by far wasn't even present at the Silver Skies?
1) yes

1) Was there any specific action the Eldar did during the solidification of the early Dominion that could possibly have triggered the end of the Singularity?
1) not any clear one

1) What's Mathlann up to right now? Avoiding his old peers and worshippers on the Dragon front?
1) pretty much

2) Would we need to specify who to commission for Ridcully's Divination artefact or can we just assume the best possible person will do it?
2) best possible person

1) Would we need to pay or use Ridcully Divinations to do the commission or would it basically be free since a better Ridcully helps everyone? Not that we really have to worry about price I guess since we haven't spent our Minor Favors in a long while lol.
1) basicly free

2) Will Ka-Sa mixing follow the same skill trait system as everything else for Aria has?
2) probebly

https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Blue_Scribes
3) Is Tzeentch shattering his staff a historical event?
3) its a legendary one
everyone agrees it happned
no one can put a date on it

4) Is Tzeentch an ouroboros according to the Thousand Sons? Given their heraldry
4) yes

5) How did Chaos interact with their worshippers pre-sorcery? Was it only through blessings then?
5) you dont know

6) How much do Be'lakor and Drach'nyen vibe with each other?
6) pretty well

7) How old was the Dominion when Asuryan's Edict went into effect?
7) over a million years

8) Same question, but for Be'lakor's ascension
8) two million years

9) How well can CoH pretend to be a Nurgle daemon for the purposes of infiltrating the Garden of Nurgle?
9) very badely

10) Does Spacequake stack with itself?
10) yes

11) From a Chaos perspective, how likely is it that this Alpharius is the Changeling?
11) low chance

12) Can the Phoenix Avatars' means of descension be applied to the Emperor?
12) not directly

1) Would Hunting (Trust Inquisition Choice) be a valid use of Jane's actions?
1a) If so, what would the DCs be?
1) yes
1a) pretty low

1) Is it possible to close the polar rifts to stop any more daemonic incursions?
1) no

1) does rotbart think that knowing belakor is going to try to kill zahhak whn she moves to defend valinor, and the key to stopnig it is the AO is enofgh to prevent the assination?
1) possibly

2) Are we moving up the timetable for Grand Conclaves now, since we're starting to run out of time?
2) yes

3) Is it heresy for Tamia to collaborate with Zahhak on an anti-sorcery ritual?
3) no

4) Does the Ecclesiarchy have any authority to issue dispensations on otherwise heretical acts?
4) no

5) Does TrueGlass have any synergy with fibre optic cables?
5) no

6) Psyker pass rate in T41 doesn't appear to have benefited from Psyker Cities: Primal Shelters +1% pass rate as it was identical to the rate in T40. I don't think it was included in T40 as projects completed in T39 only affected the numbers in T40, and projects like that usually only take effect the next turn. Am I missing something?
6) it took effect in T40

1) We would need a diplo action to coordinate Tamia and Zahhak for that ritual right?
1) yes

2) Can Cegorach cut off Vlad's face and wear it as a mask in order to temporarily gain his skills?
2) no

1) If Vlad had failed his take over the rebellion roll and Alpharius had still died, would we have still had a chance to affect the second Singularity domino of the assassination attempt on Zahhak via getting the tarot, or would we have been forcibly locked onto the unwanted first path?
1) you would have

2) In terms of 'protection', where do Avernite Wards rank on the previous Simple/Advanced/Masterwork/etc scaling?
2) high end of advnaced

1) Would a trueglass telescope let you skip the speed of light to an extent?
1) no

2) Did the Ynnari loot the Drukhari's captive worlds when they took over Commorragh?
2) yes

3) Could we develop a psyker talent revealing chamber with psychic architecture, perhaps using true glass, that people could be run through on a large scale?
3) maybe

1) Is it fair to say that gods of more abstract domains like Hope or Mercy get more flexibility in special stuff they can do, but are more restricted in the circumstances in which they can do it and are generally not as good at it compared to a god with a concrete domain? (ie a god of Mercy can heal or raise wards or truekill, but only when it can be framed as merciful, as opposed to gods of Healing/Protection/Death being able to do it all the time and with better results)
1) yes

2) In decreasing psychic power, is it Minor>Subconscious>Unconscious, or is it Minor>Unconscious>Subconscious?
2) minor, subconscious unconscious

1) If Jane assassinates a member of the Ezekarion, could Vlad take their place since he has their comms and ciphers?
1) for a short time yes

1) Hypothetically, could an Unconscious or Subconscious psyker do some sort of hypnosis class with a trained psyker to make their psychic manifestations always do/be a specific X?
1) maybe

2) Was Moriana the Deceiver?
2) no

3) I thought of having Tamia design a ritual for the eldar to use to help Vlad, but I'm guessing they're holeless there thanks to Cegorach?
3) they are fine there
they ahve exactly tyhe god they need

4) Would Chaos Undivided destructive resonances notably help with an anti-sorcery ritual in general, or specifically only when it's targeting Chaos Undivided daemons/bindings?
4) unknown

1) Is there a psychic frequency for "who the hell cares?" or "yes, and?"? The idea of acknowledging the other side's argument having a point but still dismissing it for being bad or wrong fundamentally
1) probebly

2) Are rerolls allowed on Hunting?
2) no

3) Were the Ellinilli a thing in Sparks?
3) yes

1) How true is that myth about their father creating them from himself and later killing most of them? Is it just a metaphor, or did it actually happen sometime in the past?
1) metaphor

1) Is it conceivably possible that the Prophecy might end up in some sort of Platinum ending due to weird rolls causing something you didn't see coming?
Like The Sane/Necrons somehow managing to win the Dragon war before the Black Imperium Rebellion is even over?
1) yes

2) to clarify, the situation with the dragon at present is that it can replace troops faster, but the sane are bulding up their industry faster right?
2) at the moment yes

3) Would we need a minor favour to help Vlad or are the eldar already helping?
3) Eldar are already helping

4) is the krorks limit on the dragon front sending the troops to the front or having the troops to send?
4) having troops to send

5) Could Tamia bum a ritual off the eldar to perform herself? Specifically for helping Vlad
5) not one that would have a major I,pact

7) Do the Ynnari have any Hekarti bits lying around?
7) a few

8) Idea: Because there's nigh-infinite ground Krork troops, like Nameless and whatnot, the Krork could effectively take over the garrisoning duties of the Triumvirate Deva Worlds (Which should be running a pure anti-Daemon metaphysical defence setup, synergizing with a primary mortal defenders setup). The Triumvirate, now without a need to expend divine power defending the Devaworlds, could instead deploy large amounts of Honored Devas onto the Dragonfront. This should effectively increase combat power available on the Dragonfront without any cost.
8) sending the Krork to the dragon front could also work
And would work better due to being better suited to fight that foe like th triumvette are better suited ti fight chaos

9) During the lull in the dragon war fighting, did the World Serpent switch to blasting the Black Imperium?
9) yes

2) Is Moriana still around?
2) no

3) What's her background here? Was she really just a talented Inquisitor who got fed up with the Imperium, or is there something more to it?
3) talented inquisitor half possesed by something Old

1) Theoretically, If someone for whatever reason can't have kids the natural way, and wanting their kid to have a better future commissions a gene smith to create an enhanced stable psychic child, whose narrative takes precedence there: parent genuinely wanting what's best for their kid or gene smith doing it for science?
1) you dont know

2) Would a paragon for Areatha based around the idea of random bullshit go, be viable? I'm not sure what the most appropriate way of displaying it would be, but something from either an advantage gained from enemies never being able to predict what she's going to throw at them, or some kind of learning thing based on breadth of knowledge?
2) if you can come up with a way to make it work yes

3) Since it came up, my understanding of Areatha's learning paragon is that it let her learn psy traditions from objects as if they were teachers in specific areas, up to I think the master/grandmaster level. Useful in the past, but doesn't do anything now due to her transcendent.
3) pretty much

2) IIRC you did say it might regain some use due to paragon omnimancy increasing the complexity of what she could learn from, but then decided against it? Or was it that it wasn't useful on this time scale?
2) it was that it was not that useful on this time scale

1) How did Be'lakor transcend?
1) mostly liekly by inventing daemon princes
and creating an entirly new Path of Acension
something previouly only done by the Old Ones
not an Old One
the Old ones working together

3) What did Tzeentch being 'born' look like to the Eldar Gods at the time? Was it like Slaneesh's birth, Tjapa's birth, etc
3) suddenly there is another Chaos God
acting as if it has always been there

4) That one canon omake learning paragon guy who could make warp entities, how is he doing?
4) dead

5) Did Malal exist prior to Belakor creating Chaos Undivided?
5) yes

6) Can we hire Zuvassin to destroy the necron and eldar's antipathy towards one another? Like in Total War where he destroys someone's hatred of you, represented by improved relationship
6) no
both of them ahve counters to being effected by gods in such a way

1) Is there any relationship between humans having 12 months a year/Slann having 12 as a special number?
1) yes
its an echoe from the Old Ones

Areatha's golems spent millions of man-hours exhausting every available method to systematically dismantle her prodigy syndrome and hone her teaching skills to a razor's edge.
The two things I'm going for are either that she's gotten a good enough understanding and flexibility of her mind to replicate how others do their paragons, or that + she's peering towards the third force that makes paragons work a little bit. How exactly it'd work would depend on Durin.

Paragon of Omnimancy: Multifaceted Truths (Significantly boosts learning rate and decreases difficulty of learning new psychic abilities, can learn psychic paragons on a case by case basis.*further explanation below). In learning of the warp Areatha has grown to understand the importance of perspective in how it functions. Others are capable of incredible feats and so she has discovered how their unique individual understanding enables this and how to replicate it to a degree.
2) With it established that Areatha can learn more things at once through her golems thanks to her Transcendent, could you combine that Transcendent with this Paragon to get the golems to learn Paragons?
2) no

1) In its current state could chaos unified and omni-focused eventually destroy Avernus, or would Avernus and the Slann figure out a way of cutting them off from it before that happened?
1) it would eventuly win

2) What's the Anatolian's opinion on humans (lack of) an afterlife?
2) yu dont know

3) What about the Trust's?
3) trying tnot to think about it

4) Does Emperor still say xenos gods are heresy?
4) he has not ruled on way or the other
on Anything
he has Made a Point of That

1) If hypothetically he had an entirely personal opinion on the matter, shared with those who would never share that opinion with the general public who could potentially misinterpret that as a ruling what would he say? 😛
1) he has not shared anything

Wrath and Glory 2e: Aeldari - Inheritance of Embers, page 6
In a meeting with the leadership of [Craftworld] Ul-Khari — one that would prove lethal for all but one of their number — the Solitaire explained The Laughing God's interest in the Gilead System. In a ritual dance of death, he demonstrated that a great jest was to play itself out there, and it was vital that Ul-Khari find a way to make itself one with a world in the system.
5) Is Cegorach still the type to slaughter most of a craftworld's leadership literally to send a message?
5) only if he has some other reason to want them dead

2) You know long ago we looked at Avernite Military rep in the trust, this specifc viewpoint, has it changed notably in numbers holding that view or form?
Finally, there are those few who view the Avernites as gloryhounds, who make use of their disgustingly expensive equipment, mostly funded by the Trust, to show up other forces. This is a point of view worryingly common among the grenadiers of the Trust.
Since the bit about it 'being 'mostly funded by the Trust' is no longer current
2) you get around 46million credits a year from your miltiary rebate
that like 17% of your total budget
and most of your military budget

3) she will either become Asuryan next time she dies: mmm as I understood it if we won she'd change into "being" Asuryan, as in she'd loose her former domains and regain the ones Asuryan had, the phoenix emerging from the ashes, but she'd retain herself as Ynnead, the same way she only has about 10% of her memories as Asuryan? Do you mean that it'll just give her the potential to die and be reborn as Asuryan 2 in the event of a win? Or is this just kinda unprecedented, what ever happens happens.
3) more its kind of unprecidented

4) How good is Isha at healing the mind?
4) decent

6) if you can come up with a way to make it work yes: For every Lock a Key: In combat gain an escalating bonus against enemies as she expands and refines her techniques against them, out of combat lower the DC for creating complex techniques, or gain a reroll for learning, but successes on that reroll are unusual? First idea, not happy with it.
6) that works
maybe have the bonus based in some way on L
maybe capped by a multiple of it

1) What Skill Paragons of Avernite Psychic disciplines could Areatha have by now?
1) not many

2) What was Valdor up to? IIRC you said he's dead too. Just where'd he wonder off too?
2) never really decided
just that he died before the quest started

5) Can we just ask now if Avernite human souls are all with the Mother of Death?
5) you can
Why in the world do people keep insisting on asking this question? We have been repeatedly warned that the answer to what happens to human souls is likely going to lead to bad results?

There is no real positives and way too many negates if it's really bad based on context. Basically can people please stop trying to ask this question already?

Actually we've been told now.

Just death/om nom nom, exception on Avernus RN.

Gosh, if only there was a friendly god who already had an afterlife. Say, one in one of the most secure places in the galaxy.

Alas, even if one existed we could not countenance using it, as it's not the Emperor's.
