New questions and answers.
1) What is true killing? Rather, what is resurrection, and why does True Killing prevent it?
1) reserection is basicly getting the Sa that makes up someones soul togther, pathcing it up and binding it to a new body
True Killing is denaturing the Sa that makes uo your soul

1) Can the Red Thirst be assuaged by drinking the blood of your brothers?
1) yes

2) Can someone be so closely bound to a god that a god's divine blessing takes part of their soul?
2) yes but its rare

3) What does Rotbart see now when he looks at a TrueMirror?
3) ait and see

4) Piggybacking onto this: Likewise, what do Jane and Ridcully see?
4) they ahve not shared it

5) Continuing with this what would lin have seen
5) you dont know

6) How much stuff did the Bloody Magpies steal get gifted in Embers? They didn't actually grab Forgebreaker at any point, did they? What about Custodes stuff?
6) quite a lot but not that stuff

7) Was there a reason Sisters of Silence were only allowed to communicate in sign language? Seems like it'd really muck up battlefield coordination when their hands are occupied with combat
7) not really

8) What's the difference between enchantment and crafting?
8) enchantment is just imbuing magic into an item
crafting is making the item and spell

9) Did Belakor hijack the Mandrake's aeldari Blessing cheat to buff them, or did he turn them into actual daemons?
9) hijak the eldar cheat

10) how viable would a type of trimvaer elite that replaces their heat with a deva be?
10) not very
its something that can be done but has a high fatality rate
and the trivumvette does not have the elites to waste

1) Would it be easier to do to a Space Marine, considering they have a backup to operate during the procedure?
1) physicaly no
spritually yes
Astartes are metaphysicaly tougher then humans

2) Does the Child of Hate believe that with hate, all things are possible?
2) no

3) Does Mass-Energy Equivalence actually exist in TLN?
3) its a law of physics

4) What are familiars?
4) animals that you have bound part of your soul to
and XXX their XX

5) do we know what the living daemon primarchs think of thier situation?
5) not really

6) Does inferno bolt ensorcellment work fine with impaler technology, or is this a case where the size and design of a bolt shell is an advantage?
6) its a case where the size of a bolt shell is an advantage

2a) so if for some inexplicable reason Thousand Sons wanted Inferno electromagnetic accelerators, they'd use a heavy impaler as the basis or tau rail guns.
2b) And then probably return to bolts because they can just ensorcel a bolt that is already of superior performance, like banestrike or vengeance bolts.
2a) yes
probebly rail guns
b) pretty much

1) Were collected Imperial blanks split along gender lines, with male ones going to the Culexus Temple and female ones to the Sisters of Silence?
1) es

3) Does Mittens have his own soul?
3) yes

4) Is it possible to recover from losing a familiar? Does it impose a similar penalty to resurrection, that can also be overcome with enough power?
4) yes

5) What happens to a human's familiar if the human dies?
5) it varies
but mix between dying
becoming lesser
and suvivig merely depressed

6) What purpose do the trials serve? What would happen if we did away with them?
6) ensuring that the psyker being released into society is not one bad day off turning into a mass causality event
a very small number of sactenioned psykers causing issues
increased distrust for psykers

7) Are the trials universally faildeadly or can you sometimes fail and survive?
7)they are not and failing them and suviving is possible

8) How do Ritualists and/or Psyker Choirs handle people dying while they are casting a spell?
8) most have some members holding back so they can step up into the role
if to many die mid spell its BAD

1) are most losses duirng rituals fatalities or casualties
1) casulties
some bad enough that the psyker never recovers
others that takes mere months to recover from

1) How does Sa healing bypass things like needing material to make new organs etc. Or does this fall into "don't think about it" territory.
1) it makes matter

2) I'm sure this was asked, but I can't find it. If Lorgar hadn't bombed his escape to the sea roll how screwed would Asurmen have been?
2) it really depends on how high he rolled
just a bare fail?
not at all
a success? pretty
a crit? that is where things get nasty

3) Is Kitsune tails more narrative warp stuff, or is it a planet attempt at messing with third force (if its willing to say.)
3) more narrative

4) Would Hoeth be interested in having a duel with Jane? Shake the old rust off. I'm sure the PA's have already put him through his paces, but still.
4) yes

5) To improve Necron/Everyone else cooperation would it make sense to try and find a way to shake Jaghati loose? Setting aside everything else he's clinically sane, (+ I feel that getting the necrons to respect the younger races will go a long way towards ensuring sustainable peace.)
5) yes

1) Why did Horus heresy?
1) ?

2) Is the Primordial Sea sufficiently plot nonrelevant that you would divulge details on it?
2) yes

3) I am curious what do you think about how Rotbart turned out?
3) he ended up as an intersting character

4) Because of Ilfeliare, the dead sun god, does sunlight cure cancer in addition to causing it?
4) no

1) The current theory/known information is that it's the primordial nothingness from which existence arose and what will remain when existence ceases, as though reality was a soap bubble in water. The Sea obliterates reality and meaning, and so in its diluted form Chaos merely degrades and twists and erases nuance. The Sea corrodes reality like strong acid on fabric, and quickly spreads rather than just doing damage once and stopping like Orrery overuse. Anything we missed?
1) you missedf that its not just descruction
its creation too
it is just as likely to remake reality as destory it
Chaos is what it is because the Sea is Potentional given form
and the Slann reached into it asking for The Ultimate Weapon
so got chaos

1) Are you willing to tell us the counter-Chaos frequencies at this point, or would that still be relevant? (I'm guessing Order, Purity, Meaning, Life, Creation, Defiance or at least most of those)
1) still ossibly relivent

2) Why are paragons and transcendents effective against Sea stuff the way non-heroes and lesser heroes aren't?
2) spoiler

1) Why did Horus join Chaos and rebel against the Emperor?
1) Mix of tain, possension and the Emperor being a rather poor parent

1) Weird question, but aside from "be fast" is there anything a ritual cannot do? Limits on them past "power" and "skill"?
1) only tjhings that Sa cant do

1) In terms of galactic stuff actually done by the Eldar versus galactic stuff attributed to the Eldar, what's the ratio roughly like?
1) in Embers?
they get credit for maybe 10% of what they do
and have around 20 times that stuff false attibuted to them

1) Since Avernus has Warp-Touched and that increases mutation, are Astartes from Avernite stock more likely to produce mutated gene-seed?
1) yes

1) Is it appropriate to say that the Sea behaves like the ink in which reality is written, or at least more like that than like other things?
1) yes

2) if somone reached out to the sea for hope would they get something other than chaos, or would it be tainted by how the old ones reached into it for a weapon?
2) probebly yes

3) Do the trust's elite forces have a health potion culture? As in they're willing to take more risks because they'll just pop a healing pot 😛
3) sort of
there ae some risks they will take
and they are pretty willing to take minor wounds
but aginst the foes they fight a lot of the time there is a very narrow ga between unhurt
and dead

4) Is it fair to guess that Hoeth is the most technically skilled sword user in the galaxy RN. Not the best, just the one with the highest technical chops.
4) yes
total skill wise he is probebl only in the top 100
but on technical skill he is if not the best, in the top 3

1) How hard would it be to create rituals to essentially mass cast small, but useful buffs? I'm thinking effects equivalent to Longstrider, False Life, etc. cheap and cheerful, day duration, low skill.
1) viable
though any ritual for mass casting would not be low skill
rituals are a high skill way of casting
with low skill ritulists baicl being assitants

1) So better implementation would be to up the scale so that a single ritualist group can apply it to a large number of people?
1) yeah

1) Would a big part of this just mean formalizing what the PEF are doing ad-hoc already?
1) not really
PEF are a buntch of high end casters using powerful buffs on a small group
this would be a ritual to use a buntch of low end buffs on an entire army

1) is it possible for Rotbart to be in charge of the trust'a military and lead them to war against the galaxy threats? Essentially be in charge of the trust and use his influence to send and possible lead their forces helping out when they can.
1) yes but that is the first option
the trusts military will be deploying against galatic threats next thread no matter what

1) didn't Rotbart promise to become the minister of war?
1) he did
or rather he is
but this is about longer term
if he stays in that postion or moves on
after his current term finishs in a couple of decades

3) I thought the two plans were mutually compatible since they cover different parts of Rotbart's outlook, meaning you didn't need to just pick one?
3) I could have but decided against it

1) would Rotbart be more effective leading the trust as a general than randomly going around the galaxy and leading whatever forces the sane can out together?
1) no

2) which option would have the better chance of survival?
2) hard to say

3) which option would have the better chance of trait gain?
3) unknown

4) Considering how much of physics is dependent on the Warp, is gravity a social construct?
4) unknown

5) Are souls held down by gravity?
5) not really

2) I take it counter fighting styles are excellent at fighting people at the same level as you, but suffer significantly if you try to punch up? Or at the least are at great risk of just getting smushed before the counter?
2) pretty much

3) Could we theoretically make more BSF now that Vaul is back, assuming the Necrons were willing to cooperate?
3) yes

4) Has Avernus interred its geese creations in the Abyss for everyone's protection?
4) there are some depths even it refuses to plumb
or so it claims

5) You know how Inquisitors will sometimes make dark pacts or use Chaos weapons to take out their rivals within the Inquisition? Are there any Nurgle daemons who secretly beseech the Child of Hate's aid in attacking their own Nurglite rivals?
5) yes
The Child of hate make a point of not backstabbing them
and even getting the eldar to provide low levels of support to them in the future

6) Does Maximal have Secret Anti-Assassination Modifiers due to having a Psyrodactyl Brains jacked into his systems?
6) he does

7) I know you said the necron deathmarks of the nearby dynasty have taken a habit of shipping border lions to pass the time, do the border lions also do this just to avernite natives?
7) not really
they have other hobbies

8) The Unicorns still not taken chill pills?
8) of course not

10) Do you have the time to stat Cara now?
10) tomorrow

11) In terms of what they are, what's the difference between a psyker and a non-psyker?
11) a few physical differences allowing for better channeing of Sa
but the main difference is the Soul

1) Is that the part that psychic genes are responsible for?
1) yes

12) Why can non-psykers use Enuncia?
12) because its more tapping into narrative laws then it is manipulating Sa

14) Does Khorne have beef with Hekarti from back when he was the Chaos God? Since blood sacrifice is pretty common with darker kinds of magic
14) yes

15) Have you already come up with lore for Hekarti's six accoutrements?
15) some yes, part of which is that they are los

1) What was up with the Wailing Doom? Was it the Widowmaker or something else? All the Avatars of Khaine had one
1) pretty much echoes of thw widowmaker

1) Do we have the biological and psychic understanding needed to make a psyker's body more/less condusive to psychicery?
1) no'

1) Does Cegorach object to calling Harlequins murder clowns from outer space?
1) no

1) Could experts on geneseed in theory make some out of Eliphas to create a new geneline. No idea if that's a good idea, but it feels like the sort of thing he might work toward?
1) he has already had his glands taken out so no

2) Did the ritual destroy his chaos blessings (I assume he's no longer corrupted), or did it get weird?
2) destroyed them

3) What are the strengths of our magic tradition compared to other sane human polities like the Unchained and the Silver Skulls? What's our shtick that's more about our approach to magic rather than just quantity of psykers? Or is that quantity of psykers key to that, letting us open a large number of Orders and staffing them well?
3) you are the most scholarly about the warp
The unchained go pretty much pure theumatagy
The Silver Skulls are overly forused in a single aspect of the warp
Quartus tends to me more focused in what works rather then why it works
Callamus has issues viewing the warp as anything other then energy

1) Does the two geneseed extracted per Astartes rule hold true across biomancy and resurrections? As in there's a spiritual reason progenoids can't regrow even then?
1) sort of
you cang et around it
but any additional genseed are narrativly lesser

1) What sort of statline did Kor Phaeron have before he died? Did he have any Paragons?
1) paragon D and W

1) D paragon of making people make terrible life choices?
1) pretty much

2) I take it you need to have Transcendent Diplo to brain wash people who are just opposite your position in a single conversation? Or need a Paragon devoted to it.
2) paragon devoted to it could do that
but with limits

3) ...ok this is going to sound very weird, but would it make sense for Eliphas to flay out the writings of Lorgar that he's got tattooed into his skin?
3) yes
or more likely, have them surgically removed

4) Is he still a psyker (albeit a much more minor one)...I don't know if he was one without the chaos blessings or no.
4) he is a minor psyker now
he was not one before being blessed, but either he kept something or had some minor latent talents that were awakened by the blessing

5) How rare are gods like the Triumvirate? Where they're grounded and pragmatic enough their worshippers create a self-reinforcing loop that keeps them tethered
5) very
they are pretty much a runnaway miricle chain that happeneed in some really crazy situations
I still marvel over the fact that a butnch of throw away decoys have become a second rate galatic powe

1) I guess expectations are that if they survive this they'll be galactic staples for quite some time.
1) yeah
they have unconstested claism on some dominion that are unliekly to ever vanish
so they wont fade
and if they suvive this
they will have suvived the worst that the gaalxy s laible to throw at them for a Long Time
in the distant future musings I have had they would be widespread but not major gods
seeminly on the opermistic and good end
but with a few sharp edges that very few understand
and those few tend to be the old monsters
who treat them with Respect

1) did Eliphas just destroye the last real hope the word bearer had off not going the way of the night lords
1) yes
not that there was much hope inthe first place
between losing their primarch, most of their leadership and most of their veterans
all at once
they were doomed
oh, and pissing off everyone
including the rest of chaos

New questions and answers.
1) Did Tzeentch receive any bonus from the fact that 9 Exalted died during the Gambit (2 sacrificed, 3 to Khorne, 4 to Sanity)? Aside from evidence to present to those doubting it was all his plan, that is.
1) no

4) What are familiars?
4) animals that you have bound part of your soul to
and XXX their XX
2) Is there any meaning to the length of the two X'd out words? That is, is the second word expected to be 2-characters, and maybe the first expected to be 3-characters, or is the length of the X's irrelevant?
2) no

3) Weird thing, but do the Necrons not have a lot of transcendents or are they just unrecoverable? Obviously they've got the King, Orikan, Trazyn and Zahndrekh (sometimes dunno how you rule him exactly), but for people who went through the WIH that's not a lot, so I'm guessing they had more, but they're not available for whatever reason?
3) a lot suffered to much brain damage
you can lose trancendents

4) Is there much benefit to synchronising your body and soul as far as we can tell...which I imagine is different to your soul resembling your body which IIRC is a self knowledge thing.
4) unknowqn

1) Is it fair to say that it's less brain damage and more soul damage?
1) more brain

2) Would the Animancers be able to explain what happened to the Necrontyr if they were able to get a close look, or is this beyond them too?
2) they would be able toe xlain some you dont know

1) Are archetype special abilities powered by the energy of domains connected to the archetype?
1) yes

1) Did the tyranids ever get their hands on maerorus genetics?
1) no

1) Would it have mattered much if they did?
1) it dpends on when
but even so
its less dangerous then them getting their hands on Bile
which was basicly a worst case situation
a minor splinter fleet got him
it took the necrons best general and half a dozen world engines working with eldar guidance to take out that minor splinter fleet

1) Was it more a case of the Tyranids getting their hands on Bile or Bile getting his hands on the Tyranids?
1) good question

2) What were the Evil Sunz named after?
2) the ctan

https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/476960/grimdark-future-world-book
https://d1vzi28wh99zvq.cloudfront.net/images/16079/476960.jpg
1) If that green thing was actual Tzeentch peering through a Warp rift that doubled as his eyelids, what would happen to that planet as a direct effect of his gaze?
1) mutate to death

2) Could Pinocchio have his own soul in TLN without ensouled machines?
2) no

3) What is daemonic possession?
3) basicly a daemon supressing your Sa and Ka and taking control of your body

1) Is it Ka that pushes a demon out eventually, or can Sa also do it with more effort?
1) either can do it

2) Does benign possession still require Ka surpression?
2) yes

1) Are living meat sacks just more "conductive" for lack of better terminology, than other warp based containers, or at least naturally occuring ones, for Sa entities.
1) more their ka acts as an insulater betwen the materium and the daemon

2) Do we know why possessed people don't die from surpressed Ka, or is there still enough that they don't die immidiately?
2) still enough taht they dont die immediatly
supressing ka to much and killing the victum is one of the common ways for a possesion to fail

1) In what way was Vaul limited back when he was an Avatar? Other than having lower stats
1) he was lacking entire skillsets
or rather, each Avatar was

https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Aelindrach
2) Is Aelindrach still around?
2) no

3) What is/was Aelindrach?
3) an area that made a deal with the Shadowlord
and its inhabitants gained immunity to She-Who-Thirsts
for a perfectly reasonable deal
that benifted them more in the long term
honest

https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Enuncia
4) Is there any downside to Enuncia besides mouth and throat damage?
4) narratie backlash
you are messing with the warp in a way that tends to cause narrative complications down the track

5) Its theoretically possible to merge a Ka being and a Sa being we know that, but what about two...like actual living beings. Maybe Sa or Ka, maybe not significantly either. Or is that ironically harder due to things like opposites attract giving the former a boost? It isn't a good idea either way, and is most likely lethal in most regards no matter how it turns out.
5) its possible
tends to drive them both insane though

1) Is it better to do it when both participants have their personalities as surpressed as possible? The best time seems to be pre-natally before any personality has formed at all.
1) it is

6) What would have been the end game for the bile-tyranid hive once it reached self-perpetuating tyranid-primarch numbers? Cause that's good enough, but I imagine there were more things he could do in theory?
6) pretty much adapting the Tyranids to the Warp
and allowing them to use the laws of the Warp to their advnatage

7) Does Avernus bother with natural hybredism much (i.e. a troll and a siren fall in love can they reproduce) or are its creations generally at a point where that sort of mixing is generally risking tragedy?
7) generaly risking tradagdy

8) Are there ways to surpress a person's Ka and Sa to make them easier to Enchant? Not sure whether the enchantments would be destroyed when the surpression is removed.
8) yes
many
and wether removing the supression destoyed the enchantment depends on the type

5) Which types tend to be destroyed and which ones tend to survive?
5) its mostly enchantments that would have worked without the supression, just been harder to place that work

6) Does that also vary on the type of surpression, but that's a bit more obvious I think. Physical ones are more likely to be destroyed when Ka is restored and mental ones when Sa is restored?
6) yes

2) you are messing with the warp in a way that tends to cause narrative complications down the track: I take it this is cause Enuncia is akin to saying fragments of the OO's language without the wider context. So in addition to the guaranteed effects and the likely more messy side effects of saying something wrong there's the additional wrinkle of not knowing how a word is meant to be altered in context, what tense it is in and what grammar should accompany it. You're just a monkey screaming "BUTTON" at max volume.
2) that is aprt of it

3) So did the Nids gain fewer benefits from being able to ignore the warp than they would if they could exploit it?
3) yes

4) If he hadn't gone nids would there have been a risk of Bile starting down the Ka/Third Force research path or was he more likely to try and research archetypes and try to mess with heroic archetypes given his astartes/primarch knowledge?
4) he was going into archtypes

8) Are there spells to undo death, open entryways into alternate dimensions, control the fundamental forces of natural existence, and summon the power of divinity itself?
8) yes

9) Are there spells that can flawlessly do your paperwork and let you understand how to fix administrative snarls?
9) only on a limited level

10) Back when Belakor still had Sin and Sorcery, were they limited or unlimited domains?
10) Sin was limited
Sorcery Unlimted

11) Does Belakors deal with Mandrakes puts the same no daemons limitation on him as on Eldar gods?
11) no

1) How obnoxious are avernite seagulls? Dangerous goes without saying, normal gulls are already kunnin and vicious.
1) less dangerous
more annoying and really hard to kill
dicplacer seagulls

1) Do they teleport your food into their mouths, or their bodies underneath your hands (and gun) and into your food?
1) food into teir mouths

2) Do they also teleport their poop to underneath whatever covering is being used, so now your roof does nothing to keep poop off indoor furniture?
2) if they are annoyed with you yes
the poop also attacts various annoying insects

1) Is it also an absolute pain to get off whatever it's on, meaning a lot of Avernites are just forced to burn the furniture before it starts an infestation?
1) yes

1) How much of stuff following the laws of physics is it actually doing that, and how much is it not normally doing that but being pushed into doing it by the narrative?
1) current theories is all narrative
3) Is TLN Age of Sigmar? All the Mortal Realms - even the ordinary dirt - is made of the winds of magic. Very easy to explain why physics works as it does there.
3) nah
there is a good bit of real matter ect mixed in
just no ne really knowns how much
anything from 1% to 99%

4) Where do our psykers pull the winds of magic from?
4) they pull on the warp and basicly filter it for their chosen wind

5) When was the Edict of Asuryan implemented?
5) around 15 million years after the Aftermath

1) Which part of the blink spider is responsible for teleportation - the brain, legs, fangs, or soul?
1) soul

Soulbound - Champions of Destruction, page 113, Endless Spells section
WORLD SPIRIT ECHO
DN: 6:12 Target: Zone
Range: Long Duration: Permanent
Lore: Savage Beast
You summon the very soul of your realm in the form of a gigantic spectral monster. Lesser beings might fear such a creature, or even attempt to worship it. Bonesplitterz are instead driven to hunt the beast and claim its power as their own.
Choose a Zone within Long Range. You summon a spectral manifestation of your chosen realm in the Zone — a great lava trillipede for Aqshy, an enormous raging tree-beast for Ghyran, a mighty twin-headed shark for Ghur, and so on.
2) Can you do something like this with Primal? But for a planet instead of a wind realm
2) yes

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_in_Heaven
7 Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven.
3) Were you cribbing off of the Bible for Solariel and the Void Dragon's fight for Sol? (Just with "he" referring to Michael instead of the dragon)
3) not on purpose
though I did read that ages ago

4) Did the Custodes go through a brief naked/oiled up phase either due to greif or a deranged psychic ramble from the Emperor during their long drooling phase?
4) they did

https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Amon
https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/636829720851382272/1228292153902366761/1140px-Cults.png
5) Ok what's up with Pyromancy, Telekinesis, Biomancy, Telepathy, and Divination? The first time they showed up in the galaxy, it was on Prospero, directly as a result of Amon and Magnus studying chaos theory and chaos magic. The five original Thousand Son cults were each dedicated to one of the disciplines, and their symbols were all distorted symbols of Tzeentch. Has Tzeentch been secretly feeding the galaxy diet Chaos magic this whole time or something? The lore on this stuff predates TLN by years.
EDIT: They didn't only show up in Prospero either. They pop up all over the galaxy, even in other species.
Wrath and Glory 1e, page 352
Many xenos races also adhere to a set of standards, or Psychic Disciplines, completely unique to them. Often this is dictated by the way that a race or group of psykers thinks, or even how they experience the warp. Despite this wild array of different powers, many psychic abilities share a common, universal theme. Such psychic powers have over time been amalgamated into the five Universal Psychic Disciplines. Though practiced by many xenos races across the galaxy in one form or another, it is in the Imperium where they are most universally accepted.
5) mix of how humans think with various additions put in by Tzeentch
the idea of the diciplines is not tainted
but the ones that the Imperium practiced were riddled with backdoors

4) Have the Imperial successors purged those backdoors from their psychic practices by this point?
4) yes
You basicly rebuilt your entire system
Quartus used th legion baseline instead, which tended not to have them
Callamus has pretty much abandoned th disciplines for technomancy
The skulls have their own system of divination rather then being based on the imperial method

1) Is Secundus also using their own legion Librarius rather than having cribbed from Magnus's notes?
1) yes
Basicly the only tradition that grew out of the telepathica left is yours
And yours has been rebuilt from the ground up

Warhammer 8e, page 177, Enchanted Items, Wizarding Hat
https://i.imgur.com/bXZKGQ9.png
6) Is this relic plausible in TLN?
6) yes
it would be a hat possed by a psyker

7) Them ornery Scots the Storm Wardens still alive, or did they get wacked? Storm Wardens - Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum
7) dead
well most of them
there were a handful of suvivors who reached the Skulls
but they merged into the skulls long ago

HH Thousand Sons 2e, Khenetai Occult Cabal
In battle, they wore armour forged and shaped by the Legion's blind artificers using fire and the force of their minds alone, and fought with a unified precision that made them seem a single warrior manifested many times, rather than a group of individual fighters.
8) I find references to blind craftsmen everywhere, from Thosuand Sons modern and old to the Adeptus Ministorum. Does losing your eyes give you some kind of crafting bonus because of sympathetic connection to Vaul?
8) yes

9) Would you consider a power which marks someone for death/hunters mark to be a fate weaving thing, or more a narrative thing (obviously depending on the circumstances that could change.)
9) more fate weaving
but yeah, it could be either

1) Does the Waaagh still exist?
1) no

2) How do the newer, younger leaders of the Trust conceive of psykers?
2) powerful assets but dangerous if untrained

3) Is the Emperor creating Custodes modeled after the Pillarmen from JoJo's like in TTS canon to Embers?
3) no

1) Possibly a bad idea, but could you create a tradition to derive narrative power from eating your enemies, or is that more a god thing? Like if you worship kurnous hunt, kill and eat a particularly impressive bit of prey you might gain something from it?
1) you can

2) Its been long enough that I'm curious how goes the True Trolls redeveloping their traditions to best take advantage of their new natures/have any new areas of development opened up to them now that they're talking about publically?
2) they have made quite a bit of progress

1) Anything interesting that they're willing to speak about publically?
1) mostly just various improvments to transmutation

3) If (hypothetically) all sentient races vanished from Avernus and the planet mind did leaving only the animals, would it be able to self regulate its eco-system or does it rely too much on Avernus balancing it due to the assorted over the top creatures?
3) it relies to mc on Avernus balancing it
eventualy some form of balance would be found
but that would be after a major dieoff

2) Is it primarily the remnant kingdom who've moved towards becoming true trolls, or have the other troll populations that were more mono-troll type also affected that change?
2) mostly the Remannt Kingdom

3) Is if a fair guess that the Remnant have (to the best of their abilities) made precautions in case they might loose their mojo again?
3) yes

1) Why are there eight winds of magic when the Old Ones usually did everything in twelves?
1) they dont know

1) As in the Old Ones themselves didn't know, or more that their surviving heirs and servants can't figure it out?
1) the latter

1) Can our psykers mind control machines? Drones, ships, life support systems..
1) your technomancers can

2) What's scrapcode really?
2) daemon possesed code

3) Can we make scrapcode-like stuff, but replace the chaos bits with, idk, Ulgu or Shyish or Chamon?
3) no

4) Does Trazyn have an Intrigue Paragon related to body doubles?
4) yes

1) Does the Triumvirate have Deva possessed code?
1) no
its tried to amke some but failed

2) Would the Imperium have survived until the death of the Emperor without the lasgun?
2) yes
they would ahve needed to care about logtistics a lot more
but would have found ways

1) Do Vaul and/or Hoeth know how to make psychomatons?
1) yes but dont have the time to set up the inferstructure to make them in notable numbers

2) Over in the Primarchs RP, Konrad Curze is fully sane due to starting out with a trait that gave him really good Willpower.
Could the Embers version of Konrad Curze have similarly retained his sanity if he'd rolled really well on his Willpower base stat roll?
2) yes

1) how do psychomatons compare to wraithguard?
1) cnotably better
basicly they ar high tech versions of the same thing

1) During the third daemonic incursion, we constructed moats of molten silver around our hive cities that gave the Nurglites a -20 penalty. Was that a pure engineering project or did it require high end warp knowledge (other than warp echoes in general) as well?
1) mix of both
but more on the engineering end
the thing about maots of moltern silver
is that even if it has no warp effect whatsoever
its still a maot of moltern metal

Epilogue: A New Foundation: What Lines Will I never cross?

[X] What Rotbart is Best At

Your experiences in life are lessons that others can use to avoid mistakes, not just your own. Your reputation is enough to bring those who might be buried unforgotten to the forefront of history. Those are things you have that you can and will use, on behalf of those who would make the galaxy a brighter place.

As for the Trust, they are both in a good state militarily speaking, and already there are other talented and experience generals (like Gaius Julius) who will fill the gap you leave behind. Helping the Ynarri keep the galaxy intact is how you can best do good in the galaxy as it is now.

While you yourself lack the capacity to envision the galaxy that you seek and how to get there, you will push to support those that can. You may be a general inured to the cold calculus of war, and uanble to really see beyond it but that does not mean that your reputation can't lend weight to others as they bring about changes for the better.
While you will always remain loyal tot he Trust that you and your comrades have forged over the centuries since the Emperor's death, you feel that it no longer needs you, and that you will be able to aid more fighting on other battlefields.

Finally you will need to decide what lines you will never cross, and what lines you are willing to go over if it grants you victory. This includes both what you are unwilling to sacrifice to achieve victory, and what deals you will never make.

[] You will not sacrifice lives to claim victory. War is sacrifice, and you know better to dream of a bloodless victory.
[] You will not sacrifice the lives of innocents, only your soldiers.
[] You will never sacrifice your soldiers unknowingly, you will not repeat the Fall of Ithica.
[] You will not sacrifice the souls of innocents, no matter the gain.
[] You will never sacrifice souls.
[] Write in Barred Sacrifice

[X] You will never deal with the Gods of Chaos for power.
[] You are willing to fight alongside the forces of chaos against a mutual foe.
[] You are willing negotiate with the forces of Chaos, to avoid spending lives fighting them or encourage them to fight a greater foe.
[] You are willing manipulate with the forces of Chaos, to avoid spending lives fighting them or encourage them to fight a greater foe.
[] You will not deal with chaos on any level.

The above options are meant to be as much a guide as vote choices, and a write in of what Rotbart seeks to achieve which his life, what he fights for and how he will go about it is preferred.
As such any option that lacks a write in of at least 50 words will be ignored when votes are tallied

so my thought here, taking the dragon front into consideration, is that he would treat it as threat prioritization, and being in general willing to nudge chaos into bleeding for the benfit of the sane. I don't see anything wrong with say, tricking a chaos power into attacking a mutual enemy, hell its practically the eldars favorite move

These two seem like good choices if only because A. sacrificing innocent souls basically defeats the purpose for our existence and B. Soul sacrifice from a strategic level, if not in general, is a losing proposition.

Now don't get me wrong, if someone is willing to fall on the sword to empower their sane God of choice then more power to them, but we shouldn't be the ones holding the knife.

If we're reduced to cutting out hearts to make it rain then we've definitely failed.

We never hesitated about selling Cultist's souls before, why start now?

It's not just about deities, souls are a valuable commodity in general, to the Sirens, to the C'tan, to whatever other potentially useful horrors might be out there.

That's a fair point but I'm still leery about it.

Like you said you send cultists to the Sirens and you're willing to treat with the C'tan but at what point does it go from cultists to convenience?

But credit where credit is due such methods do keep them from going to the Chaos gods so I can't fault them on that score.

The way I see it, if you sell your own soul, you can't complain about others getting their hands on it.

People who don't do that, get to keep the right to their own soul, at least as far as the metaphysics of the setting allow (most are probably demon-chow anyway, but that's something a general can't fix).

We can decide now that selling cultists souls are a bad thing. In particular, we are now able to uncorrupt them.
