I feel that it is utterly useless to compete with Enjou's plans seeing as everyone will vote for his plan even as they outright say they don't like it!

Yo guys, the point of a the vote is to vote for the plan you like.

@Durin
1. Does Vlad know enough about Nid tactics that he can give advice on them that our current experts can't give? Asking because a lot of plans have it and I'm dubious about it.
2. You said we don't know of an anti-hivemind animal but could we ask Vlad or Areathe if they know of one we can get?
2a. If getting it would be too much trouble can we ask Areathe to instead teach the few psykers she can teach how to use any anti-hivemind powers she's learned?

1. maybe
2. you can ask
2a. ditto
Areatha sucks at teaching though
Some discord info while I still remain dubious about Vlad being helpful for anti-nid tactics (especially since he was never a major general fighting them as far as I know) asking him and Areathe about anti-hivemind critters might be a good idea since I imagine what we learn could be useful for the Nids.

@Shard can you switch the Delta Vee Bird for Bastard Dragons since they're the more dangerous of the two?

[X] Plan Shard T127

your plans are mostly identical anyway.
Enjou does have an absurd amount of influence over the voting though. If you've got a niche project or idea and want to see it through, for all practical purposes its a matter of convincing him to support it. I should know, I was something like 12 hours from getting the Sanginour Divination through when he changed his mind. It was frustrating to put it mildly.

@Enjou

Would you consider delaying the shipyard a year or two so we can design Andres's and my PD ship? It is a pretty big hole in our line of battle.

I agree, but I think that the other two options are more time critical then doubling down on the Hive fleet right now. After all, if we clear out infiltrators from Dragon's Nest we can accelerate the Tech Transfer, and understanding how the WAAAGH is about to mess everything up could be important.
Don't forget Gene-Stealers are a thing and for all we know the Dragon's Nest has a large number of them. Hence why looking up inflitrators seems important. The last thing we need is for those guys to start sabotaging things at this point before we learn about them.

I can, but there is a considerable and non-trivial risk that we either fail (Invisible Dragons) or Maximal gets killed by a UBD (Invisible Dragons).
But that means never studying them since there's always going to be a risk to studying and risk losing a valuable hero that could have been saved by the research. Like hasn't Scott and Tranth both been attacked by the Invisible Bastards? If so than lowering the risk for them and our other heroes is way more valuable than risking Maximal

Alright. Done.

How do people feel about spending 1 Greater Div on investigating BD's Infiltrators as opposed to the Hive Fleet?

I support it. I feel I should mention that I don't think its a good time to spend a greater divination on The Sanginour, since I am, in fact self aware.
Okay. Currently 2 G.Divs on the Hive Fleet and 1 G.Div on Blood Dragons.

I should mention my Diplomacy has been expanded: Asking Vlad about Hivemind Predators, asking Lulana about Nid poisons, and asking Areatha to help with Warding the Vault. This should make sure we actually finish that damn project this time.

Hate wasting our biologist on Thunder Warriors.
Also gods Enjou, THUNDER WARRIORS? Really? Really?
For gods sake, we've gone over this. Avernus' main specialty to the Trust that everyone has agreed on is elite soldiers which is our niche. Thuder Warriors are actually among the best elite's avaiable. The main reason that the likes of the Primarchs not being that willing to spend that much time on them is due to them already having the Trueborn but thing is we are likely never getting Trueborn ourselves so fixing at least the reflex issue would give us elites that can likely rival trueborn that we can make in large numbers very quickly so I would absolutely not call them a waste.

Truth be told looking up random animals seems more wasteful considering that most of the time they don't really give anything that useful. We only get something like the Nog every few hundred years and even the Nogs advantage isn't as big now thanks to our new food tech.

Let's go through the argument again:

1. Maximal might not be able to fix or even partially the TWs, wasting 2 decades of time.
a. If he does it'll take like a century.
2. Thunder Warriors are generally a short term solution, not the best elites. Space Marines are better, especially in the long run.
3. Other powers might research the TWs instead of us.
4. The only polity which can research wildlife is Avernus.
5. It actually costs a lot to create Thunder Warriors.
6. We already have Space Marines.
7. The Emperor ditched Thunder Warriors for Space Marines.

But right now? In the middle of two potential existential threats to the trust, you want to spend 27 years figuring out if there are potentially faults that we may be potentially able to fix in the next century or so?

[X] Plan Andres T127

Munitorum
SLOT A - Year 1
-Y1: Djinn Skein Gladiatoria: Military

Void Command
SLOT A - Year 3
-Y3: Shield Capacitors
-- EXPEDITE YEAR 3
SLOT B - Year 4
-Y4: Construct: Skeid Military Transport
-- EXPEDITE YEAR 4
SLOT C - Year 5
-Y5: Ship Design Investigation (Point Defence Escort Cruiser)

Given the present strikecraft focus of the orks and the same focus in the past of the tyranids, a PD ship would be valuable.

Administratum
SLOT A - Year 1
-Y1: Knight Landhold
-- EXPEDITE YEAR 1
SLOT B - Year 2
-Y2: Technological Improvements: (Food)
SLOT C - Year 3
-Y3: Technological Improvements: (Food)

Diplomacy
SLOT A - Year 1
-Y1: Trade Talks (Vanaheim, Build a Black Ship)
-Y2: Nynye Trade (Nynye creating a poison specific to the Tyranid Spliter Hive coming?)
-Y3: Ask Vlad (HWWO's willingness to steal Tyranid material from the incoming Hive Fleet?)
-Y4: Request Information (Lamia, contacts among other Avernite peoples)
-Y5: Ask Areatha: Helping with the Vault Wards?

Getting an update on Bertil is simply not that beneficial. Such examinations never have been, and we shouldn't expect that to have changed for some reason. Instead, I believe we should focus our efforts on useful things. A black ship, anti-tyranid actions, following up on getting more help for the Primordial Sea, and finishing off the wards.

Arbites
SLOT A - Year 1
-Y1: Expand Psyker Hunters
-- EXPEDITE YEAR 1
SLOT B - Year 1
-Y1-Y4: Greater Psyker Hunting
-Y5: Counter-Intelligence

AdMech
SLOT A - Year 2 (Explorator)
-Y2: Technology Fundamentals (Melta)
-- DOUBLE DOWN YEAR 2
SLOT B - Year 3 (Biologis)
-Y3: Complete Examination (Invisible Dragon)
SLOT C - Year 1 (Free)
-Y1: Investigate Battle Automata
-Y5: Special Issue Impaler

The Invisible Dragon is a hero-killer. Studying it will improve hero survivability and add proven hero-killers to the ranks of our menagerie. I believe that getting melta ammunition for our impalers is very important.
Melta is relatively cheap and very potent at killing super-elites. Most of the Trust's regular forces still use impalers, so melta impaler rounds would give the Trust a major boost to its anti-elite capabilities, which will make a big difference.

Ministorum
SLOT A - Year 2
-Y2: Expand Witch Hunters
-- EXPEDITE YEAR 2
SLOT B - Year 3
-Y3: On Created Gods
-- DOUBLE DOWN YEAR 3
-Y5: Cleanse World (Moderate)

Astra Telepathica
SLOT A - Year 1 (Ridcully)
-Y1: Greater Divination (Incoming Hive Fleet)
-- DOUBLE DOWN YEAR 1
-Y2: Greater Divination (Infitrators in the Dragon's Nest)
-Y3: Mentoring: Alpha
-Y4: IF EMERGENCY COUNCIL IS OK: Spreading the Word
ELSE: Warp Echo (Fire), Y5: Mentoring: Alpha
-- DOUBLE DOWN YEAR 4
SLOT C - Year 4 (Tamia)
-Y4: Research (Shrine Fairies)
-Y5: Ward Vault (Dis)
-- DOUBLE DOWN YEAR 5
SLOT D - Year 5 (Aria)
-Y5: Ward Vault (Dis)
SLOT E - Free Divination
-Y?: Greater Divination (Incoming Hive Fleet)

The Shrine Fairies are the key to getting Rituals, which are really good for mass psychic workings. Very important in war and still quite useful in peace.
I prefer to do a 1-year action on what we know will have a potent warp echo rather than a 3-year action looking for anything that has a warp echo.

Personal
SLOT A - Year 2
-Y2: Implement (Ordinatus): Planning
-Y4: Personal Attention: Thunder Warriors: Laying the Path
SLOT B - Year 2
-Y2: Personal Attention: Implement (Psychic Cannon): Naval
SLOT C - Year 1
-Y1: Spend Time With (Syr and Sigmund)
-Y2: Spend Time With (Grandson)
-Y3: Attend Emergency High Council Meeting (LOCKED)
-Y4: Spend Time With (Grandson)
-Y5: Spend Time With (Grandson)

Implement Ordinatus would get us both Ordinatus Majoris and Ordinatus Minoris, both of which are incredibly potent weapons useful against everyone. No matter what the tyranids have evolved to be good at, hordes or heavies or fliers or whatever, Ordinatus can be made to counter them.
