[X] Mission takes Luka and Kira out for dinner.
[X] Luka has a chat with Dad over the HoloNet.
While Aunt Mission is busy with Kira, you decide to take the time to make a call to Dad. Unfortunately, Dad is a busy individual as the Supreme Commander of the Galactic Republic and Grandmaster of the Revanite Jedi, meaning that you have to wait some time before he will be able to answer. But he will answer and you know that much for sure because Dad always makes some time for family even he cannot devote as much of it as he would like to.
So while you wait for Dad to answer your call, you fiddle about with the settings of the
Red Banner, getting a feel for the starship's systems and customising them a bit here and there. You will almost certainly find yourself adjusting them again in the near future as you get a feel for the ship, but for now, you focus on what seems good to you at this moment in time. You are only mostly done when Dad finally answers your holocall, a full-size blue holographic image of him in his armour appearing before you.
"Luka!" exclaims Dad, "I hope you like the ship. It is no
Ebon Hawk, but it should serve you well."
"I'm sure it will," you assure him, grinning at your beloved father, "Thanks for upgrades as well. The shields are definitely going to be useful if we run into trouble and getting about the galaxy faster will certainly make life easier."
"I wouldn't send my wife and daughter into trouble on a ship without some sort of energy shielding," says Dad, "Besides the extra upgrades didn't cost too much more upon top of what I was already paying for the ship itself. Even with the extra purchases, it still added up to less than a hundred thousand credits especially since Mission offered to handled the shipping for free."
"She delivered herself," you add, trying to ignore the fact that you have never had as much money as a hundred thousand credits before.
"I figured she might," says Dad, "She likes seeing you kids. So what is she up to at the moment?"
"Speaking with Kira," you answer before remembering that Dad doesn't know who Kira is, "She is a former slave turned smuggler that I picked up on Nar Shaddaa. She is the one who helped me rescue the slaves that I, well we brought here."
"Bastila mentioned her," says Dad, "Are you getting along well with her?"
"She makes for good company and gives good massages," you tell him, "I'm not sure what her future will hold for her, but we will be travelling to Nar Shaddaa together at least since she left her own ship there."
"Mission wants to get her a job as your pilot," says Dad casually, making you pause at the idea, "Personally, I think it is a good idea. She can fly a starship and the two of you get along. While I know that you or Bastila could handle flying the
Red Banner just fine, it is a good idea to have a dedicated pilot if only so there is someone spare to look after the ship while you and Bastila are out on Jedi business. It isn't like the ship comes with a droid to look after it and you will be getting into places where you won't want to leave your ship without anyone trustworthy onboard."
"That makes sense," you agree, thinking it over as you consider the possibility of someone trying to sneak aboard the
Red Banner or break into it, "I don't exactly have the means to pay her..."
"I can pay her out of the family funds," replies Dad with a slight smirk, "We aren't rich, but we are far from being poor. I can afford it. Tell her that I'll pay her five hundred credits on a weekly basis, Galactic Standard weeks."
"Basically a hundred credits a day," you comment, "I think she'll go for it. It certainly sounds more to her tastes than her current line of work."
"Mission said that she sounded eager about it," agrees Dad, "Your mother is doing fine by the way. She and Vokru are currently hitting up Exchange operations in rapid succession to try and find more information on this Darth Malice. Hopefully by moving quickly, they can find what they are looking for before the Exchange has time to cover it up."
"Have you heard anything about Darth Malice?" you inquire.
"The name has been used before, but this one is the old one," replies Dad, "I doubt she is someone I know. All of the old Dark Jedi that I...ah, knew...are pretty much gone these days, either dead or brought back to the Light. The current generation are mainly the apprentices of the previous one and we don't exactly give them the chance to get established so when one pops up, it is generally a fresh face."
"I suppose that sounds good," you say, "I certainly sounds like a good thing to me."
"It is, but it means that Darth Malice is an unknown," says Dad, "Bastila is one of the most capable Jedi of her generation. She can handle it and there is a reason she is your master while also being your mother. She would be fine even if she didn't have another Jedi backing her up."
"That is good to hear," you say, "How about Ord Mantell? Did your mission go well?"
"We cleared out the corruption with the government, restored faith in democracy, the Jedi and the Republic, took out the most troublesome groups and got the guy behind it all," answers Dad, "By all accounts it was a resounding success even if there is some damage to fix up, but I am concerned about the strategic implications."
"The True Sith Empire?" you guess.
"Unfortunately, I suspect so," confirms Dad with a slight frown, "They are becoming more active and while I am good at catching their agents, the Sith Empire is going to make their move soon. It will certainly be in your lifetime and while that was probably inevitable, I hoped to spare you and the others that problem."
"It was going to happen sooner or later," you tell him, "Even if it never happened for me, it would have happened for my kids because the Sith are going to Sith."
"I know, but a father can dream," says Dad before sighing, "In better news, the Galactic Senate is having a vote on whether or not to offer the Mandalorian Clans membership in the Galactic Republic."
"Do you think it will pass?" you ask him.
"It is a done deal at this point," answers Dad, "We've turn the reputation of the Mandalorians around and the general consensus is that is better to have the Clans in our camp pissing out than is to have them outside pissing in. It helps that it has been three decades since the Mandalorian Wars ended and we got an upcoming generation of Mandalorians who have only known the ways of Mandalore the Preserver and not those of Mandalore the Ultimate."
"That sounds good," you say, "I'm glad to see that Uncle Canderous has managed to fix things up for this people."
"The man is determined," says Dad, "He might be getting on with his age, but he knows how to get things done. I'm going to be going to Coruscant for the vote and helping handle things once it passes. Dustil says hi by the way. He made it though Ord Mantell unharmed, but he is going back to Telos to teach some of the Initiates and spend time with Carth."
"Tell him I said hi back," you say.
"Anyway, it has been good to speak with you Luka, but I'm a busy man and I've got to go," says Dad as he looks over his shoulder, "Stay safe and I'll see you around. Love you Luka!"
"I love you too!" you call back and with that Dad's holographic image disappears.

"So I haven't been to Lantillies before, but my secretary says this place is good and he doesn't tend to let me down so I assume that it is," says Aunt Mission as the beautiful Twi'lek leads you and Kira through the some of the upper class streets of Lantillies. You are sort of in the capital region, but as a city-world like Coruscant or Nar Shaddaa, Lantillies doesn't have a traditional capital city like many worlds as the whole world is a city.
Looking around you, the three of you are drawing some stares. You hope it is just because you are a Jedi, something that is obvious now that you switch into your Jedi robes and have a lightsaber dangling from your belt in the open, but you worry that is from having a couple of beautiful women from two of the galaxy's more popular species. You hope that somewhere like Lantillies would be better than that, but you've heard enough stories of certain places to worry that it isn't.
But nobody is causing any trouble for you and it might just be that Aunt Mission and Kira are both very good looking. Not that you are jealous. Jealousy is beyond a Jedi like yourself and it isn't like you aren't good looking yourself. You just don't have that sexy alure and fullness of the figure that both Aunt Mission and Kira have. Which is perfectly fine.
No, what you should be is excited to spend time with your aunt and while it is improper to have a favourite aunt, Aunt Mission is certainly one of your favourite aunts.
"Here we are!" declares Aunt Mission, "Olir's Authentic Corellian Cuisine. Both of you like Corellian food right?"
"You know I do," you answer with a roll of your eyes, but with a grin on your face, "And you wouldn't have brought us here without booking a table first. And you wouldn't have booked a table without checking that Kira likes Corellian food too."
"You know me too well," says Aunt Mission as she gives you a cheeky grin, "Excellent food, excellent service and a private table."
The greeter was apparently expecting your group and while he gives your lightsaber a glance, he does say anything about it as he leads your trio to the table that Aunt Mission has booked.
"This is going to be my treat and I'm rich so order whatever you want," says Aunt Mission as she opens up a menu.
Sharing a look with Kira, you take a menu of your own and decide what you want.

So I was expecting you to be back at Nar Shaddaa by the end of this update, but it got away from me. I've put a vote where you choose what food Luka likes so I can show the dinner with Mission and Kira for the first half of the next update before having the second half be your return to Nar Shaddaa.
Not much else to say.
