[X] [Defiant] Tell her that she is right and that you are in a relationship with Alicent. She'll quietly accept this, or she will learn why men fear the fury of a dragon.

RAHH

I would recommend not blurting out our secrets in the middle of the red keep where people are always listening.
An outburst is what she wants and is fishing for. Being gay in a heavily religious society is reputation destroying.
There is also another matter that Johanna had been refusing access to her chamber before we enter. What preparation she may ready and hidden at that time. And Viserys is currently looking for us to lecture about our outburst in the council chamber.

[] Write-in: Admit that you're attracted to women. But throw her off balance by "admitting" that you also love Johanna and desire her.

We're not gonna fix this relationship the normal way, but I believe in our ability to seduce the Queen!

Another thing that we have to take into account now that we have to prepare for civil war is the Crownlands and the Kingsguard. The first are the domains closer to King's Landing and Dragonstone, so getting them on our side would help us securing the Capital and the dragon eggs quickly, with all the legitimacy boost that provides. The Velaryons are going to make this rough, but the benefits are great. The second, once again, can give us more legitimacy if we have more than the Westerlings. Problem is that they have Harold Westerling and that Rickard Thorne (I think that's his name?), also hates us, so that's two against our GOAT Tarly. So we need to try and get the rest on our side and get replacements aligned to us whenever one of them dies.

Lord Commander Harrold Westerling is still listed as Loyal and he should have been in the small council meeting so no immediate change from him. But I have a sinking feeling that he might be getting hit with a serious case of divided loyalties as time goes on.

As a point. We're currently trying to get Alicent into the Sept. Do we really want to risk screwing that over after all the effort and political resources that we've put into it for the sake of getting to say a few aggressive words towards Johanna?

We can relax on Dragonstone but this is something she is baiting for.
I will say that being exposed in this situation is not much of a concern because we already have the deal with Otto, that Johanna does not know about. So Otto has every reason in the world right now to squash any rumors of that sort. Which is why Rhaenyra feels she can just blurt it out to Johanna. Johanna tells Viserys, Viserys doesn't care. She tells the small council, Otto's gonna have a talk with them. She tells a Servant, well it's just a rumor then.

A key way to improve relations with Corlys is to hand him back the Master of Ships post, the trick is convincing Vyseris to unseat Tyland Lannister (or manufacture a reason that'll force him to do so - Otto could help on that scheme)

I LOVE THE HIGHTOWERS, UNLIMITED NEPOTISTIC PERKS FOR THEM

If we give Johanna cause to go against Alicent in that way is it possible that she could convince the Sept that it's not worth courting the controversy of taking Alicent?

[X] [Defiant] Admit to it all. You're attracted to women. You're in a relationship with one. And there's nothing she can do about it.

I think the point is that she'd only have rumors, and a Sept not taking in a Hightower because of weakly spread Queen gossip would be incredibly unlikely.

[] Burst out laughing and thank her for finally being her true self. Thank her too that you no longer have to try to fix things with her; that was always difficult for you. Before you leave, bow to Lancel; he was by far the best character in the room, except for yourself. Leave knowing that the battle lines are clear and with the advice that Johanna should always look Aegon directly in the eye when encouraging him. She owes him at least that.

Can't we take it with black humor? XD

I still like the original "you can't do shit lol" Defiant option, because seriously. Our father won't care, our intended won't care (although he's Dornish so no extra points here), the Hand won't care and will actively back us up, and everyone else has made up and shared so many stupid rumors about us by this point that one more won't make a difference. I like the idea of making her taste what it's like to know the truth about someone's "dark side" and be powerless to act on it. Feels more vicious than an outright threat.

@Teen Spirit : How about something like this:
[] Write-in (Subject to QM Approval)
-[] Take him. Take him right now. Bring your brother to your father. And every single scream and armed man that tries to stop you will only reveal the poison in her words on the succession when you repeat them to the King. In Private. With only you, him, and Aegon between you. You will not harm an innocent babe. But their fear, their accusations and the panic that you might will tell the King the character of his Wife, Lords and Bannermen better than any words from you.

pls no the last thing we should do is act unhinged now
That is the unhinged question. The idea that an older sister should not be allowed to take up her half-brother babe and take him to their father is unhinged. It's wrong, and it should be shown to be wrong. These are adults spitting poison over an innocent babe, and we should not play their game, but work with the King to deal with all these vipers.

EDIT: The idea that the grown, capable Heir (And anointed Knight) is a threat to her own baby half-brother is lunacy and should be treated and shown to be such. It is an insult to Rhaenyra, her mother, her septas and the King. It insinuates the King raised a kinslayer and a baby killer.

This is completely off the wall idea and will be akin to dancing on the Knife Edge. I will usually like such mad scheme but involving a baby is no go as it is risky and dangerous for their health.

The fact that everyone will go well of course his a threat to his sister he is a guy like everyone would go rheanery kill him now like the anarchy in real history started cause miltda younger cousin decided he should be king over her and his older brother
And to use got well the last king of the vale was killed by his younger brother

Nobody should be able to take a baby away from its mother by force (because Johanna is absolutely not willing to let us touch Aegon). Yes, even if the mother dislikes you and you think she's just being unreasonable so you want to prove her wrong by taking her baby away anyway.

God, I feel icky just typing it

Yeah, I don't really get the appeal of "keep it a secret or learn my fury" option, as the threat is both unnecessary and I don't even know how Rhaenyra would follow through on it.

The fact that she'll try to start shit with Otto, or Viserys, or even Qoren just to meet an uncaring shrug sounds so funny for us and would be maddening to Johanna.

The fact that we'd essentially be flaunting it and even easily getting a lesbian to become a Septa would have Johanna gnashing her teeth so hard
