@Birdsie , two questions seem very relevant here:

1) Can we get details on Penny's build? It sounds like she has Seraph, Truthseeker, Lawgiver in some capacity but knowing if it's Seraph 8 / Lawgiver 7 / Truthseeker 4 vs Seraph 8 / Others 6, etc... would be pretty useful for determing the types of requests she's going to be good at.

2) Does accelerating into the Second Year curriculum improve Remedial Lessons and/or Exploration actions? We're currently planning to do plenty of those so I see little reason to test out if they merely improve Standard and Individualized Lessons.

Two tentative plans, both assuming we're going to focus on Remedials as that was the plan before:

Penny has Lawgiver 7, Birdsie has confirmed she can simply impose Law upon Josh and Francis to prevent them from bullying any of the class directly or indirectly. (-35 Will. Our Will generation is +65 per turn so we'll be up 30 Will for the turn.)
-[X] Ask Samantha (the Star) for a subdued, thematic yet stylish outfit. Include any supernatural features Samantha would feel appropriate that do not grossly clash with Sol's aesthetic sense.
-As we're not making any visibly dramatic moves, Penny's Seraphic ascension should occupy the gossipmongers' time for at least this month. It's unlikely the Apostles will be quite so concerned about our potential threat when a true and explosive one has revealed herself so dramatically, and manifesting in a form so relevant to their domains. Use your Arcanum to buff Samantha while she does this. Don't commit so much time and effort to this that it would take an action.
-The idea here is to get as much Architecture and Connections as possible before having to deal with the Apostles one way or another. Investigating them won't change the facts if they turn out to be shady, so if we're forced to swear off Remedials in order to appease them or whatever we'd like to delay that as far as possible. Higher Connections should make passive investigation and surveillance of the Apostles much easier as well.

If Solomon desires it, tell Harrison he can drop by anytime or move in if he wants. Teleport everywhere. Birdsie has said that doing these things (net cost: 0 Will) will grant Solomon a slight bonus to his Effectiveness Rating and to all his checks. Use Connections 9 and your Arcanum to buff Samantha while she does this. Don't commit so much time and effort to this that it would take an action.
-[X] Solomon is capable of buffing the Explorer's club in a multitude of ways if he works openly: with even a trivial effort he can (discord info) create compounds equivalent to the greatest modern drugs with no side effects or physiological dependence. Imagine the speed and focus of the strongest amphetamines, the morale-enhancing effects of cocaine, the strongest nootropic and analgesic substances, and of course... disgustingly powerful steroids. We can turn our entire club into Anabolic Heroes, and that's just the nonmagical potions.
-[X] We can advise and buff Penny in her chosen actions, perhaps guide them towards less destructive ends, while staying in our support and mentorship role. Our support-focused mentality and general benevolence should convince the Apostles to hold off on drastic actions at least for now.
-It is foolishness to conceal our power when our efforts in concert will lead to far greater gains. Penny is the Seraph, she can defy fate in Justice's name but would be constrained if moral flexibility is required. Solomon finds it difficult to oppose fate but his supreme versatility gives him a thousand indirect levers to manage, subvert or redirect a situation. Their compounded powers will lead to far greater results than trying to stay under the radar for entire months.

It is actually Seraph 8, Lawgiver 7, Truthseeker 4, with several Techniques related to photokinesis, physical and mental enhancement, and some QoL stuff.

My favorite of the proposed plans so far. Utilizing our new super-good social link is worthwhile, and exploration has proved to be insane. We've seen one of the great secrets of the Gothic world, what does Fortuna have that compares?

Updated Throne Shadow and Grand Caster to account for Samantha. Grand Caster uses Connections to buff her while she weaves the outfit, Throne Shadow doesn't.

I think Moving onto the second-year curriculum, would decrease the total time learning from the educator, since I believe there's only three years of education with him. Which means less time exploring and gaining xp in total.

Unless the time sol will be in learning is a set thing and not a actually finishing the education thing. Basically I'm against the action unless I learn its not going to cut down on the time our character will be learning in total.

Its not gonna cut time for our character we can just slack off and do other things later.
 
Man, I was extremely confused for a few minutes until I saw Rihaku had edited Grand Caster. The sheer WTF of seeing brightwing's post with no context was fun.

Chloe though, huh. I don't think she's come up yet. I wonder why Sol is interested in her.

I really love the Grand Caster plan and do want Sol to get into romance eventually just not right now. Sol has just started to open up to people and get out of his shell, I think he should make friends before jumping into a relationship.

Also looking forward to Sol getting new drip and becoming a Drug Lord, both of those thing will be really entertaining.
