The Firestorm: A crossover invasion game. Looking for a 40k faction player.

He doesn't look like the subtly plotting one to be fair. More like... Sauron on steroids.
Oh no he is very good at what he does, although he is also a really powerful combatant. This is the guy who managed to convince a relatively peaceful race of tribals into genociding a race that never even showed the slightest bit of hostility to them.

For context here is his backstory

Beyond Earth, the Vinci, and the FE kingdoms seem pretty thoroughly on the side of light as well.
True although for the most part they are neutral with the side your on being up to interpenetration (Beyond Earth) or the specific sub-faction (Fe kingdoms).

Here's some overviews I've come up with for the Beyond Earth sub-types.

Purity: In favor of keeping the traditions with the old world I'm probably going to play this guys fairly diplomatically as while they are traditionalists I don't see them as outright xenophobes.

Supremacy: Not really planning on playing them so eh.

Harmony: Assimilated onto the planet these guys are decent but a little out of it. After settling in they'll probably spread around xenomass and eventually cause alien hives to pop up in areas they control, almost like a pseudo militia apart from they're normal forces.

Supremacy/Purity: These guys are pretty purity form most alignment purposes but use a much larger number of automatons in their forces.

Harmony/Supremacy: Extremely trans-humanist and somewhat off in morality they aren't evil but they aren't exactly good either.

Purity/Harmony: Less crazy the Harmony/Supremacy these guys believe in holding onto as much of humanity's old morals as they can while at the same time upgrading themselves to better survive in they're new environment. I'd expect a lot of specialist units to pop in in Purity/Harmony forces after they've had some time get some insight into local genetics.

We've already got a ton of sci fi forces. Maybe come in as the Vinci(Rise of Legends is awesome). We could be allies in that case.

BTW, what do humans in Terenga look like? The OP says they're West African inspired, so is everyone there vaguely African-looking? Trying to determine whether my Technocrats can just slot themselves into society or if they're going to stand out immediately.

You must have some 'Crats from each ethnicity, right? I mean, if you have the entire polity.

I'm curious, would you consider the Thanagarian Empire as falling more on the side of light or darkness?

Well yeah, but if the entire nation of Terenga is black then the white/Asian Technocrats are going to stand out (well, at least until Progenitor biologists can alter their skin pigments), and people are going to notice when they're just randomly dropped into the middle of the country

The majority (80-90%) of Teraga's human population (75% of the populace) would correspond to west african phenotypes, but there are immigrants from other regions or planets who live in the country; more if you count its offshore colonies and attempts to settle the inhabitable moons of Xaramazdik. Many of these would correspond to other extant phenotypes.

There are other human nations that immigrants come from? Which ones on the map are human?

These would be smaller nations not large enough to be on the map (the map lists great powers only, if I listed every country the map would look like abstract art) and some from different worlds or the moons. Teraga is the sole human great power on the planet that is universally recognized as such, some are trying to rise to that station and may appear on the map if they succeed in getting that recognition.

How do people from different worlds get to this one? Magic?

What's the general native tech level?

Imperium of Man/Red Alertish, it's a weird cold war setting. There are enclaves of much more advanced and much more primitive societies. Plenty of medieval holdouts that resist modernity through the strength of magic exist.

Question, would attack submarines like the Astute and Trafalgar Class be Ships of the Line or Galleons?
