#StickiedForAReason
Votes that do not follow the template will not be counted!

At this time I am using a counter system, listing the number of days votes take to be put into action. However for write-in votes you don't know how many days an action may take. For this we will use the old system of Major/Minor Decisions, and I will tell you how many days/weeks/months the plan will take. Remember that every month has 28 days, and that there are 13 months in the year with New Years as a special day alone outside the months. There is no leap year, as their calendar is not accurate to that degree.

Major decisions are any new endeavors. Finding new investments. Finding new allies (specify what type, where you're looking if possible, what you want from them, etc) finding new trainers, starting new training even if it is with people you already know... Anything new.

No mixing something that would qualify as a minor decision or free action into your major votes! If you have a question about your votes, ask me.

Talking with specific people about specific subjects. You can generally only talk with one person at a time with this. There are simple logical exceptions, Husband & Wife combos can be put together as one conversation, brother & sister, stuff like that. I'll clarify if a combo is unacceptable when I see the vote. This is also for continuing any long term action. Any major decision that you have already voted to start (not just mused about in-story) can be a minor action the next time around. Continuing training that you have already begun for example. Continuing a long-term investigation or plot. Stuff like this.

Making small talk with characters. You will not learn anything special really, but it gives you more insight into their backgrounds and history, can raise/lower their loyalty or other relationship points with you, etc. Raising/lowering and how much depends on rolls.

These can interrupt any current action(s) and will take precedence over the current plan. A way to change things on the fly as you discover new information or alternate ways to potentially enhance your plan, or change it completely if needed.

Remember for all votes if you take a guard or other individual with you, you will need to write-in which guard/person you take with you (just saying take a guard or ally will leave the decision of which one up to me) and also whether Daenerys tries to use any future knowledge on the decision as well if it is one of hers or she is present. (She still may decide to try and use her future knowledge without your consent if she thinks it necessary.) These details are sub-votes.

[] [Plan] X (Current Month, Short Term, Long Term, Immediate Actions, Purchases, etc.)
-[] Major Decisions: Character name here
--[] Major Decision 1
---[] Sub-conditions of Major Decision 1
---[] Sub-conditions of Major Decision 1
--[] Major Decision 2
---[] Sub-conditions of Major Decision 2
---[] Sub-conditions of Major Decision 2
-[] Minor Decisions: Character name here
--[] Minor Decision 1
---[] Sub-conditions of Minor Decision 1
---[] Sub-conditions of Minor Decision 1
--[] Minor Decision 2
-[] Free Actions: Character name here
--[] Free Action 1
---[] Sub-conditions
--[] Free Action 2
---[] Sub-conditions

You get the jist of this.

However, under the plan vote, you will then put a "Priority" Vote.

[] Aegon Priority: 1. Major Decision 1, 2. Free Action 2, 3. Minor Decision 1, 4. Major Decision 2, etc.
[] Daenerys Priority: 1. Free Action 2, 2. Major Decision 3, 3. Minor Decision 1, etc.

This way we can vote on the general plan, then I can separate the order of events in said plan.

Don't put V1, V2, or any other such revision information into your plan. Just leave it like I have it. Nothing extra. The tally system will update to your newest post. No need to make version markers. It just makes things harder for me.

If an action in a plan is not one for a specific character, more a general idea of what needs to be done, it will still need to go into the priority matrix.

At the end of all your votes, put your reasons explaining your vote choice. As I've said before, a plan with reasons will get more weight than one without. Because reasons matter. I care about reasons more than numbers. I need reasons to help build the characters. Get used to putting reasons into your plans, as eventually reasons will become a requirement rather than a suggestion. This post will change when that occurs.

[] [Plan] X

You may (but are not required to) put additional reasons to agree with that plan beneath your vote if there are reasons for it that the original vote creator didn't put in that you thought of. The more/better the reasoning inside explaining a vote, the greater the chance it will be added into the story.

Votes are typically closed after either 12 or 24 hours unless real life interferes. Ties will be either decided by me, or by whoever is in the forum or the Discord that has not voted already at the time. I will @ whoever is currently in the forum or Discord that I choose to be the tiebreaker.

Plans have specific timelines. Immediate Actions are obviously immediate. Current Month is similarly self-explanatory. Short Term is something that can conceivably be done within 1-3 months, and Long Term is 3-6 months.

Please leave the votes in the format I gave in the chapter. Making up your own formats makes the tally break.

[X] Aegon
-[x] Take Matalarr and meet with the Valyrian worshipers.

Maybe I'll make some more.

[X] Daenerys
-[x] Explore your scrying magic.

[X] Galerius

Why is everyone going for the immortality option in the poll? Dany saw herself being a goddess but we weren't able to stand beside her. Change your votes to Forbidden Power. We'll get immortality by being gods anyway.

A Secret Told
ATTENTION EVERYONE!!!

Apparently, as a Dragon Priest, it is my priestly duty to bring you secrets from the mouth of Tessarion the Unknowable, our God of Secrets. So, here goes:

1. [REDACTED BY DIVINE ORDER]
2. Thomas is an agent of the Sealord, sent to keep an eye on Valyrian worshippers.
3. Boromun worships the Drowned God and Matalarr worships the Red God.

XxX End Priest Mode XxX

Now while I have your attention, can I please request you to change your vote on the poll from Immortality to Forbidden Power? We'll get immortality by becoming a god anyway. And Dany sees in her dreams herself becoming a goddess, but we weren't beside her because we didn't become a god. Let's change that. We need Forbidden Power to win to get the quest steered in that direction.

@Lunasmeow, I'd already typed up that secret when you told me not to say it. So it's redacted now. Was the one I wanted to share the most too.

@NúmenoreanNazgûl What a shame that...

For everyone else, know that "secrets" that the priest(s) choose to reveal are sent to either Aegon, Daenerys, or Viserys (later) as either Dreams from Shrykos, or Visions from Tessarion. Yes, there is a difference.

Also, yes Priests know more, but they can also be wrong. Like Naz was last vote. They're human, they just tend to have more info than most.

Stretching One's Wings - Part Ten
Winning Vote

Major Decisions: Aegon
Take Matalarr and meet with the Valyrian worshipers. Get to know each member by name. If they ask about your blessings, show them something simple. Like fire immunity. Take Jorah to the market and commission a pendant for Dany's nameday. Design: Two entwined dragons for yourself and Dany. The dragons will be encircled by an Ouroboros styled Dragon to symbolize Viserys' self-sacrificing protection. Materials: Gold (Aegon's dragon is yellow gold, white gold for Dany's, and red gold for Viserys'). Rubies for accents and purple dragonglass for eyes. The combination of gold and ruby shall evoke the appearance of flame. Add a High Valyrian inscription: Va moriot hen Drakarys (Forever of Dragonfire) Hēnkirī isse Ānogar (Together in Blood).
Sell some of Illyrio's gem encrusted statues to pay for it.

Minor Decisions: Aegon
See to the summons from the Iron Bank. Train with Matalarr. Train your battlemagic.

Free Actions: Aegon
Talk with Ser Jorah, Boromun & Matalarr each in turn.

Major Decisions: Daenerys
Explore your scrying magic. Go out with Boromun and listen for news and rumors.

Minor Decisions: Daenerys
Train with your tutors. (Household management/Stewardship.) Try to hatch the dragon eggs. Train with Matalarr.

Free Actions: Daenerys
Talk with Jaehaelyx & Saenera each in turn. Talk with Aegon.

Winning Sub-vote

You now have a royal wedding to plan. Throne or no, you are a King and Daenerys will be your Queen. While it will take longer than three weeks to actually get everything together, it should hopefully only take three weeks to decide what all you want there. Then you actually have to get it. You might be married in as much as a month? Two? This however means that you have to cancel some of the things you had planned for this week. You hold off on taking Matalarr with you and going to meet the Valyrian worshipers. Also, much as it may be useful, Daenerys will put off practicing her scrying magic.

Stretching One's Wings - Part Ten
First Week of the Sixth Month 297 AC

It feels like forever before Dany is finished kissing you, but in a good way. She's happy, excited, and unrestrained in a way you haven't seen since before Viserys left you on the ship. Her eyes shine with tears that she tries (and fails) to hold back, and she's literally shaking with joy. Once you calm her down (as much as you are able to, considering the nature of her excitement) you bring her back to reality for a bit.

"I know you want to get to planning immediately, but we both have things that we need to get done today. Let's finish up what we need to do for the week, clear out what can wait from our schedules, then start planning. That way we have nothing interrupting us when we're trying to get everything settled, okay? In the meantime, we can tell start planning a small engagement party for the household. Maybe just the worshipers too? I'm sure they'd like feeling like they were included in the lives of the Blessed, and we don't really have any friends here yet, not to mention the difficulty of anyone attending a Dragon marriage ceremony so..."

Anything else you plan to say is lost in the moment.

Eventually you are free to go about your business again. Once you get the last of your things taken care of, you'll be free to have that sit-down with Dany and start planning this wedding. For now, you need to get to the market. The birthday gift you were already planning has become doubly important now.

Ser Jorah has accompanied you to the market, though he has no idea what you're shopping for yet. You strike up more small talk while you travel. Jorah, you learn that during his time in Essos as a sellsword he has been to many places and speaks many of the languages of the land, yet another useful trait to have. Perhaps he could even teach you? It is said that no one is truly fluent until they visit the lands where any language is spoken, but you could learn something from him, perhaps. When you try to direct the conversation towards how he discovered you here in Braavos however, Ser Jorah always evades with simple answers, saying things like "Valyrians in Braavos aren't hard to find," or "it was only chance really". You aren't certain that he's telling the truth, but you can't quite claim that he's lying either. Perhaps there's something he's ashamed of? No matter. Whatever it is, it can't be that bad. Besides, you've found the jeweler.

You are beyond happy today. Aegon is finally going to buckle down and marry you! You know that there were good reasons to put it off, but there were of course equally good reasons not to! 'Still,' you think to yourself, 'I can hardly be angry with him now, once the planning is done, we'll only have to wait for everything to be procured and we'll be wed!'

The thought makes you so happy that you can barely keep your mind on the conversations you had with Jahaelyx and his wife, Saenera. Jahaelyx noticed that you were distracted but was too polite to say so. Saenera on the other hand asked what was bothering you, and you were so happy that you couldn't help but share the news. Of course she joins you in your excitement, you've been making friends with her and her husband the entire time they've been here after all. The two of you talk for hours about what you want to wear, what music you want playing, what decorations to have and food should be served... what to expect on your wedding night. You don't have a mother to turn to, and so for this moment, Saenera plays the role. You were supposed to learn more about the two of them but you honestly don't remember what you talked about with Jahaelyx and this is more important.

Your trip shopping was something of a success in that you managed to procure what you had in mind as a gift, though it will take time to be made and delivered, but not so much in the price. Despite your blessed ability in mercantile, you were so shocked when you heard the town criers yelling about the Targaryen inheritance being claimed by "the Valyrian Lord and Lady" that you completely screwed up in bargaining. And when the jeweler realized just who he was dealing with, you are certain the prices somehow magically increased quite a bit. Unfortunately this being the only merchant who can get the dragonglass quick enough and also do the detailed work required means that you are stuck with his exorbitant pricing. 4 talons is no joke, despite you being easily able to afford it a hundred, a thousand times over. You'd best keep your head in the game next time you bargain. After all, no matter how wealthy you are, if you throw around money like candy, you don't keep it. Nothing lasts forever without care.

You finally finish talking with Saenera, (who immediately goes to tell her husband the news) and head out with Boromun just as Aegon gets back and is starting to train his swordsmanship with Matalarr. Normally you train together, but every now and then you train apart. One look at how distracted you were when Aegon walked into the room and Matalarr declared that this would be one of those days.

Boromun is a former member of the Braavosi navy in addition to being an ex-pirate so it is no surprise that he recommends the docks to be a good place to get information since he has contacts there. You aren't surprised that the docks would have information in the main port of a trade city, but you never really knew who to ask or how. Boromun on the other hand simply walks up to some old friends in the port tavern, buys them a drink and asks them the latest. What is more surprising than the ease at which he gets information you or Aegon would have struggled to get even hints of, is the content. Apparently there is a grand warship, flying the Targaryen flag and colors, making war on the pirates of the stepstones. The ship is supposedly captained by a man with obvious Valyrian features, even from a distance. Word is that several Westerosi ships nearing the Stormlander sigil have come looking for it, but it manages to evade them somehow every time. The pirates are spooked as the ship seems to travel with an unearthly mist, and rumor has it that any who see it never leave the ship alive. 'Viserys?' you can't help but wonder to yourself when you hear it. 'Who else would fly our flag?'

Before you can consider the matter further however you hear another disturbing rumor. The Dothraki are coming to Braavos. Braavos is much more difficult for them to attack than any of the other free cities, so they generally leave it alone. However they apparently are searching for someone, or a few specific someones, no one is totally sure, and are arriving with the largest Khalassar the world has seen in generations. No one is certain exactly when they'll arrive yet, but it could be anywhere from 2 to 3 months depending on how quickly they can cross the mountains. Faster if whoever they are looking for has angered them enough that they actually get on a boat. But no, that would be ridiculous. Whoever heard of Dothraki on ships?

Following normal procedure, all commoners are being called to fight for Braavos, and no residents are allowed to leave the port by order of the Sealord without his express permission. Braavos is a city of the free, and while it may have been started by those who ran away, the Dothraki have no dragons, and Braavos is now a city of water dancers. Never again shall the city flee in the face of slavers. Business goes on of course, it would take more than the Dothraki to put a stop to that; but every ship leaving port gets inspected to ensure that the only people leaving aboard ships are those who should be. No one will flee. Braavos is a bastion of freedom that will be defended to the last. Boromun's contact spits to the side when he mentions that part though. "That of course doesn't apply to the Sealords favorite nobles. They get permits to leave as if they were normal sailors on trade ships. Not to mention the inspections take forever, so the line in and out of port is hours longer than usual. And any inspector that reports a bribe gets to keep the monies and properties of whoever tried to bribe them, so that's out too. Smuggling's more dangerous than ever during this nonsense. And that includes anything in the Iron Bank, seeing as they don't want anyone deserting the defense of the city they keep all their gold in, they back the ruling."

There's only one reason you could think of the Dothraki coming now of all times. You. Illyrio promised you to one of them, some "Great Khal" or other. You'd best tell Aegon about this as soon as you can. Before Boromun can learn anything else, you let him know that you're ready to go home.

Well, lots of little tidbits here for you all to mull over. I'm looking forward to seeing your discussions.

We need to kill the Sealord. It takes 5 Nat20s to make him roll a 1. He might die, or he might succeed his Death Save roll and survive. It takes an additional 5 to make him roll another 1 on his Death Save roll.

I'm putting in 3 of my Nat20s to make him roll a 1. So that requires 2 more from other players.

If there are 3 other Nat20s in addition to the above 5, I'll throw in an extra 2 Nat20s of mine to make him fail his Death Save Roll.

After the Sealord is dead, we need to get a Sealord who's a less prejudiced against us elected. And then we need to fund a bit of the defense against the Dothraki. It'll help us raise our prestige, and we can claim we came to Braavos to get away from being a Dothraki slave.

THIS. This is Illyrio's play. That, is motherfucking Khal Drogo, and Illyrio likely promised him Daenerys.

Braavos will give her up if he asks.

Can we challenge Drogo to single combat? If so, we can just spam nat 20s till he's dead. We've got about 17 stored right now. IIRC in canon the Khallassar fell into infighting after his death.

So since we are getting in trouble times(I mean wartime), as a Dragon Priest I'm calling a vote about what should we do in this difficult times. With Luna permission of course.

I've got a plan made up, but write-ins, and other plans can be made.

What can we do?

Here's my proposal.

[X] The Dothraki are coming!

The rumors are obvious, the Dothraki are coming and we know exactly what they seek, or rather whom.
-[X] Prepare to Leave Braavos.
Staying in Braavos will be suicide, once the Dothraki state their terms everyone in the city will come looking for us.
--[X] Go to the Harbor and buy as many ships as possible, we should take our wealth with us.
--[X] Order 2 frigates and a galleon from each shipyard, and a Flagship, which should total in 34 Frigates 17 Galleons and a Flagship.
---[X] Go to the merchant you ordered the pendant for Dany and tell him to send it to Volantis.

Ships cost
Carrack = 20GT = Storage
Frigate = 35GT = Fast fighter but weaker fighter
Galleon = 50 GT = Slow powerful fighter

-[x] Use the spectre of the Dothraki to recruit many men. Omit to mention your lack of passes. Have your retainers use their contacts to speed up the process:
--[X] Sailors - Have Boromun recruit sailors to sail the ships and carry the carts, and ask him if he wants to be the admiral for this trip.
--[X] Guards - Have Matalar and Jorah recruit men to guard the crew whilst carrying treasure and act as marines in case of pirates.

-[X] Prepare a visit to the temple, we need to get everything out of there before we leave town.
--[X] Make sure to bring plenty of carts, and hire enough men for transport.

-[X] Hire a Faceless man to kill and replace the harbor inspector, and give us a pass. Which would cost us 200 GT

-[X] Send message to the Valyrian cult and say that you are setting off to Lorath.
--[X] Ask if any of them want to come with you.

-[X] Talk loudly in the streets about how you are moving back to Pentos.

-[X] Ask your servants if they want to come with you.
--[X] If they do, hire a couple of people to take care of your properties while you are away.

-[X] Hire people to move all your wealth and the stuff you get from the temple, to move everything to your ships, do this with the help of the Iron Bank, after all they spilled our information.
--[X] Leave 100.000GT in the Iron Bank, after all we never know if we will need a safety net.

-[X] Set sail to Volantis.

@HugoR and I have discussed this in detail and have come to the view that we have to get the hell out of Braavos before the Braavosi discover that we are the reason that the Dothraki are coming.

We thought about ways to convince Braavos to fight on our behalf and came up with nothing – there seems to be no way that a city that is institutional against Valyrians would fight for them.

So we decided that we need to flee. The natural thought was Volantis – given the Old Blood of the Black Walls. Other options are Lys, Tyrosh or Tyria, although the last is unseemly.

[X] The Dothraki are coming!
