[X] I made her.
[X] Is Clint dating my mom weird for you too?

I mean, I get the other leading ask, but this feels too classically Spider-Person Foot-in-Mouth to pass up.

The Clint thing is funny but I think we can work it into normal conversation, indeed we can use it as a signal to change the subject if the spy/superhero stuff gets too heavy. Nat's origin is something we're only likely to get with this sort of exchange.

[X] Why did you think I was from where you're from?

[X] I made her. She's my friend.
[X] How much control does the SSR have over you, and if we offered you more control over your own life, would you accept?
-[X] This is not a threat, or a manipulation attempt. People should have control over their own lives/bodies. Consider it an apology for what we did to you at the bunker.

Which is technically two questions, and is not gonna win the vote, but whatever.

Also I really like this story, and I also like the direction it's going in. More shenanigans, less trauma. It's good to see Liv being happy and making sci-fi friends.

I like this, though how much independence we could give her would probably be pretty limited? Maintenance and replacement parts for cybernetics are probably more or less impossible to get elsewhere. Jailbreaking the software and hardening it against intrusion seems like our wheelhouse though?

[X] I made her. She's sort of like another me.

I'm kinda concerned with how Athena will react when we blurt out that we made her. Having cracked AI is the kind of thing that gets you kidnapped by the government and put to work in the brain mines and Athena is already having a bad time with the way we put ourselves in danger. I'm not sure how to deal with that, though; the vote doesn't really have a spot for "ask Athena if she's okay with you telling the truth".

I sense a great darkness within Liv.

Hunger is the first step towards the dark side.
The symbiont is a pathway to many abilities some would consider ...unnatural.

Bear in mind that the SSR already has an AI (if perhaps not nearly as impressive as Athena) and if Liv hasn't already been gobbled up for her other abilities and skills, adding one more to the file is unlikely to swing the pendulum that heavily.

I think the SSR is accustomed enough to dealing with Weird Shit that they've learned that routinely going full Cerberus on it and trying to seize it for themselves is counterproductive.

Remember that they're the ones who handle the people who try to steal Wakandan tech and predictably get lasered.

Besides, the last time they tried to bag us we handled their two top agents.

Their best play is to make themselves our friends.
