No need to be a dick to the other voters. Yeah, you might not find every equally appealing, but we have to play with these people afterwards no matter what wins.

It's not like starting as a mountain doesn't mean we can't eventually turn into a turtle, or that we can't create giant living turtles with graveyards on their backs that trap the souls of the newly dead around them.

Also, on a completely different line of thought that probably won't change anything (and if it does it probably won't be on my favour), but technically Predatory Avians in tropical regions includes penguins.

Yes, Galapagos is legit one of the coolest places on earth.

The sheer diversity of that archipelago is astounding. Especially given the fact that it's so isolated.

I have never heard of a penguin or whale deity, so...

Ah, well...

If it does win, I wholeheartedly support a Quetzalcoatl-like avatar in the future of our spirit. Death gods can be fun, and we might end up as a "don't fear the reaper" type.
