Its like...a HUGE portion of technology was for instance, simply impossible in earlier eras because materials of a definite purity and quality was impossible to measure, much less produce. And yet a spirit could do so.

When did you get access to my notes? But yeah the earth and fire traits plus a few other skills (craft and mystic sphere) can really do a lot to jump start our tech for our people.

Passive Spirit Influence Interaction: 1/?? towards pantheon formation
You wait. You watch. As the year begins and slowly dwindles away, you cast your gaze this way and that, looking upon the Spirit Ari'See with some envy for her physical form, upon An'Wah'Hei, who refused your order... You grant the fallen councils a semblance of divine wisdom, but again, An'Wah'Hei outshines your own efforts.
You grow irritable, upset. Even as your power grows from his actions, you are not growing as swiftly as you were before An'Wah'Hei rose. Is this a decline, followed by an inevitable end? Is there no more to be had for you? You are ever-waiting, ever-cautious, but... are you simply also watching moments die, waiting to die yourself?
With strange eons, may even death die?

Omegahugger wants a midnight snack before going to bed.
So okay before people go on the killing train do they want an IC explanation for why An'wah did the stuff he did or do they want to be ignorant when they shoot themselve into the foot?
I'm only offering this + questions to An'Wah cause I know that you guys currently don't see the full picture and 3 out of 4 Ai-spirit gm's have at one point or another pointed you guys towards killing him, so take it or don't

Also we have located another settlement to the NW, may have a spirit that way as well
Edit- we hit faith 3, our second shrine is under construction, inlfuence is up to 5 but no faithful pops in Nonas currently. And coal and more gold are in vision to the SW.
Also the T3 for shrines can be impacted based on the resource on the tile they are constructed (and pan has a shrine up on the stone)
Pro:
- You get legend
- An'wah might not become a Spirit
- An'wah will not become a God
- Your standard policy for interacting with special mortals will be visions + murder
- You will generate lot's of fear progress
- you will stop wasting 1 DE each turn on dealing with your control issues instead of just letting An'wah rule like you always talk you do (like really guys, you are throwing yourself a lot back with this one, take the shrines for example, he would have build them on his own pace anyway, it's just that stuff came up this turn)
Cons:
- The Chance that you lose your Kingdom is high, as at this point no move has being made to ensuring a continuation of the line (cause certain people keep demanding stuff)
-- should this happen, you lose your ability to spam settlements
-- should this happen Kut will lose it's food tribute, meaning Kut will not become the production center An'wah intends it to be (which would throw you back a lot since Kut's biggest problem at the moment is food productions, which was also why An'wah sought to resolve that problem early on)
-- your settlements might start fighting among one another of rescources
--getting a shrine in Nonas will become impossible
- An'wah might still become a spirit but will definitly not be positive inclined towards you
- You lose the An'Wah only action, that is used to improve the kingdom
- Your standard policy for interacting with special mortals will be visions + murder
- You will generate lot's of fear progress
- you lose your greatest weapon against foreign spirits (which would be even greater as a spirit, I mean guys really, you all talk about how he would fuck you up, but why would he when he likes you and more importantly why would he if he has other spirits that displease him more, such as the other players, after all there might be a reason why 3 out of 4 Ai-gms have advocated you to kill him off early instead of letting you use your shiny, and the answer for that is pretty simple, not so he won't be a problem for you, but instead so that they won't get any trouble from him)
- other players will be a biiger threat to you then they would be otherwise
I'd like to have a better cause then 'god-king didn't obey orders' myself.
Frankly I was thinking we'd be the mage to the God-King, an advisor instead of pantheon head, and thus our words won't always be heeded.
The thing to do, I think is have a backup plan if someone isn't willing to go along with our schemes, if we can swing it.
Why do people suddenly have to out and be reasonable, caring about the negative consequences and all that. Can't we just shoot a slightly-shinier-than-average mortal and be done with it?
You know nothing major has changed for me and we hit faith 3, 5 turn sleep it is.
[X] Plan Ash and Earth
-[X] enter torpor
--[x] Ashform
--[x] Element of Earth
Edit-
Why Ashform and Earth?
Ashform is a big boost to our Avatar score and it helps us avoid damage from hostile Destruction skills (Warrior, Skirmish, Archer).
Earth- This opens up a lot of options for us and it should make it easier for us to harvest all of the various Earth based resources we have found (2 spots of Gold, Iron, Stone, Gems and Coal). It also opens up a set of actions that should include those that boost growth.

Aye. Let's do this. Is fire or earth better for King of the Underworld?

Earth, though I do want to grab fire but that adds another 2 turns to the sleep and if we wake up, take actions for a few turns and sleep it would still be 2 turns (unless we hit faith 7 which would be very very hard)
You know what is funny, An'wah only wanted to secure his line, so when he found Ari'See he felt truly blessed, for having such a fated encounter
However it was only a fated encounter because there wasn't any opposition/alternative, so what I want to say is that if you would have had Avatar 3 and would have been female or simple would have given him any inclination of being interested in him, he probably would have choosen you guys,
But since he could only act on the stuff he knew, you are where you are
