Considering the fact that while War Scythes were a thing, they actually had their blade re-set so that the tip was pointing forwards... We kinda need something to base the fighting style off of.

There's plenty of fictional examples of farming scythes used as weapons, there's no need to just limit ourselves to one character's style, or discourage Dex from trying to do his own thing with it.

Looking great, Dex! I like how the arms can hang down comfortably instead of always being held up in the air like a lot of other four-armed creatures are drawn.

Just to contribute to the discussion about copying other fictional characters: of course we are! In over ten thousand years of story-telling, humanity has used basically every idea you could think of, and then copied and recopied them again and again. But that's okay, because just because someone's already done something doesn't mean it's not awesome!

Granted I never saw the appeal of using the Scythe blade in the first place. I mean that thing will probably do more damage than good considering how it rends reality, and we sure as spit don't have the Skill to use its powers yet.
