You really think I wasn't making backups? Come on man im not THAT stupid! The site's database structure had fucked itself and thats what needed to be restored. I don't even have access to that function on my end and I certainly didnt know that was what I needed to do!

I think that's a tad hard in this instance as the function that failed was being able to do stuff on the internet - being able to do things on the internet without using the internet would be damn impressive =P .I mean backups not completely dependent on the whims of the internet.

Basically, Dex couldn't upload new stuff or edit the old stuff - he still had said stuff (and heck, the sight was still viewable), he just wouldn't have been able to host new images there, and thus would've had to have put up images elsewhere to be able to do the quest.
However, it's all good now

...Okay so my democratically mandated break is almost over... And I have basically been spending the break working on an update anyways.........
And now I come to you asking if I should railroad this one as well to get to the important choices this entire "conversation with the narrator" has been leading to. Man, two railroad points in a short span storywise, what a mistake on my end... Well that's what happens when Route B is a jumbled mess because it almost has to be.
Either way, yes or no to railroading again? I promise this is basically the end of the pushes needed, there is just nothing left in this stage of the story/game that could need another railroading event to get it all out of the way so IF THIS IS A YES, THIS IS THE FINAL TIME FOR A WHIIIILE.

No worries do what you feel is right and see this as a learning experience to improve if nothing else.
You may see it as failure on your part but you should also know failure is not a totally bad thing since it allows us to learn and improve as people.
Either way try to relax more and enjoy yourself while making the quest since as the GM that is part of the reason why you should do the quest.
