That bunny is part of the lore of the DOOM Slayer. It was his pet. The demons killed it. This is why he hates demons.

No, I'm not making that up. Somebody else might've, though, I've never bothered to confirm it.
Daisy's death is what made it personal, as opposed to in DOOM where the Doom Guy was just an angry badass doing a job.

That part was actually from back from Doom 2 iirc. The bunnies name is daisy.
There's also references to the bunbun in the Hub Location in the Slayer's personal room (Alongside References to just about all other Doom Material. Including both Doom 1 and 2 on the Slayer's Computer*. A rabbit cage and rabbit feed is there). You can also find hallucinations of Daisy hidden in every Level. I don't think Doomguy has gotten over losing his bunny buddy yet. In fact I think he might need help (now I have this Image of him periodically stopping to pet the air and both Vega and Samuel are just going "ಠ.ಠ" and "Samuel/Vega, what is/is The Slayer doing?").

I will say this the ancient gods part 1 and 2 for doom eternal are worth buying to play through but the final boss is totally and completely way way way OP. If he hits you in any way but his long distance weapon he heals completely of all damage taken, You have to kill him five or six times, and you can only damage him when he is stunned which can only happen if you close to at least medium range and make him draw his sword, other wise he just shields himself from ALL damage. As a side note not even the BFG or the Kahn makyr weapons damage him So I would not recommend incorporating the final boss into this story unless taylor is overpowered to the point that her just breathing kills everything never mind her guns.

Well, the Marauders are supposed to be like fighting yourself with the only Reason you can kill them being because you aren't running on AI and have a larger Arsenal but from what I have seen of the Final Boss it seems like the guy is supposed to be like you are an Imp trying to fight against the Doomslayer. Which seems to be a rare instance of Gameplay and Story Integration rather then Segregation. Alternatively the Dark Lord has been training on Chaos Space Marines (he certainly has the armour of one).

Punch-your-face-in levels of Nintendo Hard, I officially crissen this Boss into the Trope "Super Nintendo Hard".

While we're asking questions, I've been meaning to ask for a while: Did Taylor's primary plasma rifle start life as the 2016 iGun-looking thing, or the Eternal I Mean Business, based on the original plasma rifle from 1 & 2 one? Because I think the latter fits her a whole lot better, for all its game came out after this story began.

Oh the monsters prior to the boss are awesome to fight and a lot of fun. The boss however not so much I spent 6 hours trying one day and still have not beat him, since like i said one mistake and you start from scratch on damaging him while you dont get that luxury still some of things revealed in the dlc would be awesome in the story like having vega and hayden be the ones she keeps sensing and cursing at while trying to get home. Since they are supposed to the "god" and a angel of the gameverse

Is there going to be any more of this, or has it ended? I mean, theres about 6-7 pages of people just talking
The Pi Man has confirmed that there will be each of the three times I have posed the question. However, there should be about a month of inactivity before I posted the question.

So make of that what you want.

It took me rereading this to realize that Daniel Hebert was the Doom guy before Taylor Hebert.

"ONLY ONE HAS EVER COME CLOSE AND HE IS GONE. YOU ARE NOT HIM." is what that demon guy said to Taylor on chapter 6... Am I wrong about her father or right?

I can't say for certain, not being the author and all, but I would guess right, considering that I had the same idea.

Doubtful. The current theory is that the Doom Guy inherited the Blazkowicz name, where as Danny did not, making B.J. Blazkowicz his maternal grandfather instead.

So, with an uncertain level of distance, they are likely cousins. That said, any descendent of B.J. Blazkowicz is going to be a Nazi's worst nightmare made flesh...

It seemed to me that Danny is actually more like one of the protagonists from the newer Wolfenstine games... Which, incidentally, that family is related to Doomguy in side-cannon.

I still stand by "Annette was actually Crash(the woman who trained Doom Guy)" and Danny is a completely different FPS protagonist, though probably not Caleb.

There's also the theory that Danny or Annette are related to William James "B.J." Blazkowicz, the protagonist from the Wolfenstein series. If Danny, through either of B.J.'s sets of twins (depending on which game), with one of the three daughters marrying into the Hebert family, or Annette being his granddaughter through B.J.'s son.
