Just the saucer can already bodyslam most of the ships you've built. What more do you want?
The engineers will love and hate it. They can do so much with the new deflector but they have to dress up and do a Rain Dance ceremony every morning before they do daily repairs. The prototype chonk deflector was used in our last ship and gave it reliable sprint 9, the experimental deflector could feasibly amp a capital ship into pointless flexing levels of speed, even with the sacrifice we made with the chonk primary hull, though I expect it will cause us some finicky issues.

The chief engineer would pull out The Headress made of the ship's orgional wiring for the ceremony.I feel like that's what most Starfleet officers are trained for already, given how often the chief engineers are asked to be miracle workers.

We can add more chonk with a beefy secondary hull and quad nacelles.

No, that was us going for the long nacelles instead of short ones. We went for a standard, non-prototype non-experimental recessed deflector. The prototype chonk deflector was used in our last ship and gave it reliable sprint 9, the experimental deflector could feasibly amp a capital ship into pointless flexing levels of speed, even with the sacrifice we made with the chonk primary hull, though I expect it will cause us some finicky issues.
Eight is symmetrical along more axis.
