Star Wars An Officer and a Traitor (NO SV, you are an Imperial Officer and Traitor)

Legit question:

Have we procced an organized rebellion already?

It's still early enough we could even find leftover Separatist holdouts for the Droid question popping up.

Let's just say that at the moment, you are entirely in the blind when it comes to organized rebellion
So that's a yes, just we aren't involved in it's structure (yet) while the communist revolution now engulfs the galaxy

All the proletariats are probably still in shock all the events were set in motion by one of the "worst" examples of bourgeoisie in the galaxy

Note that canonically, there is still a handful of organized Seperatist Holdouts in the outer-rim that have yet to be defeated. They are quickly being defeated. We are about to enter into a period where there is only really disorganized militias pestering the enpire. The Rebel Alliance is still being prepared and organized at this stage.

Nah. There is not really an equivilabt to communism within SW. Or if there is, its so irrelevant that its basically something that no one ever really discusses. They are vastly more likely to demand the republic be instated than launch a communist revolution.

I wouldn't call this a communist revolution, as communism as we know it does not exist in Star Wars.

But it has started plenty of other things that we can use and capitalize on for the future Rebellion and Rebel Alliance.

Because Strikes and other workers rights

Yeah, even Though Papa Palps isn't handling this situation well...

Vader and Tarkin Are doing a very good job stamping out the Sepiritists.

Correct.

But it has led to many things happening and given the Workers (and Space OSHA.) something to really make the Empire have some headaches.

Also, I will never explicitly call it a communist revolution, but I can definitely call it: The Corporations did some very stupid shit for thousands of years and the bill is due.

Looking forward to see what comes of our flipping another table.

So this didn't really fit into the update, as we are not focusing on many of our officers... Yet I really want to show you this conversation:

"We are not paid for this." Paelleon stated as he watched you walk towards the other businessmen as they shook your head, not knowing you could still hear the two men.

Dubreas chuckled slightly as he replied. "The Empire claims that it is up to us to make the best of bad situations."

"Indeed, and I wonder how that made me stuck with you." You tried not to laugh as the sass of your two officers was more than enough to make you feel a great deal of comfort.

"But it makes you wonder what we could have been if we were assigned somewhere else?" Dubreas asked. "In other places, not given such leniency in our thoughts and actions."

Paelleon only gave a nod. "It matters little, and to focus on what ifs distracts from the here and now." He paused. "But it is a good thing we are here. I tire of war, and merely hope for a long peace."

Maybe they didn't notice, but you had a smile on your face. You only hoped they could come around a little more.

So long as the Empire makes war upon its workers, upon those not male, upon those not human? Upon those not favored by the one who took it upon himself to seat himself upon the throne of the Empire?

Peace was never an option.

I'd say which side are you on?
All of them.

More particularly, I'm on the side bringing the bill to Palpatine and insisting that the bill always comes due and that time will not be put off.

I'm on the side that wants to not let anybody again ever utter "Somehow, Palpatine has returned."

If we do get the chance to off him, let's aim for something inglorious. Running him over with a Zamboni for example.

If we don't succeed the first time, there's an entire plant filled with his clones we can practice with. 😝

Trash hauler. Loaded with volatile fuel.

But then again, once things get done... I will create many political parties!
Well. Looks like we set everything on fire, even worse than it already was. First, the military started to identify not as Empire, but as either of the factions in the Doctrine wars. And now Parties are crawling out of the woodwork as palps flails around trying to deal with things, leaving a burning house for returning Vader and Tarkin...

Yeah, gotta love the fact that there are people in the empire (Papa Palps) that see such disunion as a good thing because hes a sith and thinks that everyone fighting each other for power under him is entirely...

A Good thing.

What a chump.
Well just caught up to this quest and it appears we've accidentally laid the ground work for a communist uprising... Yeah that seems about right for you Magoose:p

Even though I would not truely call it a communist revolution, as the idea as we call communism dosen't exist in star wars.

But an anti-corpo revolution of the workers trying to get their rights after thousands of years?

Oh yeah...

Though I might make pro-workers parties try to get sweeping changes in the imperial senate...

Ones with long names and silly titles.

It's a bit weird, my brothers tabletop group does a version of Age of Rebelion but customised for KOTOR and ended up founded the Dantooine Miners Union. It's just odd how much Unions in Star Wars has come up for me recently.

Well it is an interesting subject that is getting more attention.

Plus we're in a political and military position… on one of the biggest industrial planets in the galaxy… it would be weird if they didn't.
