Space Ninja Summer Camp ( Warframe/Worm )

Nah, Piggot visiting would be more like one of the Arbiters dropping in for a chat. Visiting someone doesn't mark that someone as an authority, just someone you want to talk to. The gift is for politeness and courtesy carried out even in ancient cultures. (Not sure where I read it but the unofficial rules of hospitality are pretty consistently a big thing across the globe) Besides, if she were setting up a Syndicate you think she'd waste a perfectly good Eximus squad on the defiant few? Nah. The Tenno Sniper rifle comes to mind...Velka was it? Venka was the claws if I remember right. Still it's a hilarious image of Piggot ringing the doorbell nervously with a vase of flowers in one hand.

You're thinking of Vectis. Velka sounds like someone kitbashed a Veldt and a Lanka.

Sure, but you're missing the joke. In game, you give stuff to syndicates to rank up, including ranking up from -1/-2. This has nothing to do with the rules of hospitality, it's a tangent about enforcing video game logic, well, after twisting it enough to suit the joke.

Yes. I do expect her to. It's traditional.

Goddamnit, you just had to say it. Now I`ll be up all night conceiving of a Taylor Syndicate, possibly with attached omake.

Curse you sincerely.

Muahahahaha!

To be honest I'd thought you'd missed the bit about hospitality, apologies for not considering may have been intentional. On that front however... you did spark an image in my mind of the PRT waking up to having a flowerpot in LITERALLY every corner of the HQ and Rig buildings as Taylor's "Sorry for the bruises" gift. Especially the restricted areas. Poor Armsy walks in and just glitches on noticing the inefficient use of organics in his lab, sitting there twitching.

Syndicate leaders had it pretty boring, it turned out. You sat around in a way,way overdesigned room all day, said pseudomeaningful things at supplicants, and handed out goodies.
A lot of math and bookkeeping was involved too.

"Join yourself, to the Union" Taylor parotted for the nth time. She had to say it for the full experience, but even the steady flow of ice cream sacrifices wasn`t enough to keep her mouth from going a bit dry from it.

"Oh, ummm... hi Tenno". Ah it was Vista. Vista was a good syndicate adherent. A Good Friend.

"Your justice shines upon the Void !" God these lines were so corny and dumb. Capes ate them up though, especially the younger ones.
"Err... live long and prosper ? Sorry, I never know what to reply to you." Vista scrunched her hands into her skirt nervously.

It took considerable self control on Taylors part not to devalue the 'hug' syndicate reward right there.

"Anyway, I caught Hookwolf, and Kaiser, and the Butcher, and Jack Slash, so I`m pretty sure that means I have enough standing now..."

Confirming that Vista did indeed have enough standing, Taylor subtly pressed a button on her costume causing her Smeeta Kavat to pad through a hidden door.

"This will feed the bonds..." she whispered, though the barely teenage super hero was already enjoying her reward; petting the kitty.

'Even compared to the Loka Loonies' Taylor thought' Brockton Bay is a VERY strange place'.

Hm. Which Syndicates would Taylor have gone with back in Origin? I think Steel Meridian would be obvious, given Taylor's sense of heroism and protecting people. But after that?

Just picture if Taylor has the rank of General, and Cressa Tal finds out she's disappeared. Elite Meridian strike team sent through the rail to find her? Shows up herself? Given Cressa and SM's SOP, the gangs of Brockton would be fucked

Probably everything but New Loka and Red Veil if she could help it. The Arbiters of Hexis are sticks in the mud, but since they reject the Tenno as warrior mythology they'd probably connect to her on a personal level since she wasn't on the Zariman with the other Tenno and thus doesn't quite fit in anywhere. The Perrin Sequence seem to be the only faction working on rebuilding, so she'd probably be torn between them and the Arbiters. Cephalon Suda could possibly tell her more about this crazy new world she ended up in and how it connects to Earth Bet, so she might have worked for her for a while to get some answers. And as you said, Steel Meridian is obvious.

As for why not New Loka and Red Veil? Well, Red Veil is basically Space ISIS and New Loka are eco-terrorists so fanatical that Ordis is an abomination to them.

To say nothing of the Tenno themselves. Loka are basically Eco-nazis.

It just so happens that well murder them to the last screaming fanatic if they cross us.

Because Tenno embrace the most ancient and respected form of diplomacy; We dont give a fuck what you do as long as you are not a problem. If you become a problem we will kill you until you stop being one.

So wait Shotgun Diplomacy is not an option? I am slightly confused @ChaoticSky ? Or were you saying that the Tenno are Masters of it?

Bakuda seems to manage it just fine...
To be fair, i dont really think shoving small bombs into people counts. The original comment was more implying augmentation, rather than 'shoves a nonconnective device into a hole'.

*tilt* I... honestly have no idea how you got there from my post. Perhaps a re-read is in order? I specifically said that Tenno embrace that sorta thing, so why woudlnt it be a option?

I'm so proud that my shitposting actually resulted in this being made.

Happy to be of service. If you want more semi consensual omake from me, make a post that gives me an idea for how to blatantly ridicule something. I guarantee my inner asshole will take over 70% the time.

Wait, what am I saying ? I externalize my dickishness all the time.

Which would make them really. really want Taylor, probably to the point of trying to forcibly take her, in the clutches of their syndicate. New Loka desires an uncontaminated earth cleansed of the Orokin's touch. Which Earth Bet is.

They find out Taylor is from a primitive Earth, still flush with resources, not irreparably damaged, with coordinates in a Grineer nav computer, and occupied only by some lousy primitive humans with tech that would stand no chance of stopping a New Loka takeover?

They'd declare fucking jihad over that.

On the plus side they would probably fight the endbringers

Great, engaging story. Also, I've now started playing Warframe; dropped $20 for plat to support it and upgrade to Volt Prime and some midrange mods.

So, how's Taylor's Volt build?

Volt`s a clantech frame though. "Hasn`t had time to farm' isn`t really an option there.

It`s far more reasonable to assume Taylor has good taste and left Volt by the wayside.

Hmmm don't recall if taynno's clan mates arriving was discussed already but given the recent railjack reveal, I can't help but imagine her team coming in on a railjack or possibly several railjacks modified Tenno redneck style for inter dimensional travel

On one hand it's a tad overkill

On the other hand, it seems doable given the modified solar rail she's building
