[X] You look like a martial artist judging by the way you stand and move, but I can't tell how good you are. Considering others are after this I couldn't in good conscience allow you to have this if you cannot defend yourself. So, I'll make you a deal, we have a sparring match and if you impress me I will try to convince my father, the owner of the ball, to lend it to you on the basis that we agree to your wish and that you lend us the Dragon Ball to retrieve it afterwards.

Well, considering we can almost definitely just say the words "hey, you wanna fight?" immediately after this and have him willing to fight us, I don't see how voting to attack him immediately is our only chance to beat him. In fact, that's more or less my exact plan. He's not going to get any stronger in the next 5 minutes or so.

I also don't see the reason to ask for an explanation. If they were decent folk, they'd go ask the owner of the Orb if they could borrow it and not just take it.

We started the fight a little over an hour after this. It's nowhere near day time.

Well, considering that the robot had the Orb, and the robot exploded ... I'm sort of thinking they probably just found it in the middle of the street.

Hell, for all we know Goku caught it in mid air.

I'm not saying they couldn't try to track down the owner and make sure it doesn't belong to someone, but there is a huge difference between taking something from someone and finding something on the street. It's not that bad.

This guy might have a point actually.

We started with a PL of 25, and Goku starts with a PL of 10.

The Oozaru form increases a Saiyan's power by 10 times.

10x10=100

Our dad is considered really goddamn powerful, as is a big chunk of our family.

Considering we're what, the youngest of our siblings, and we started with a PL of 25, we can deduce from that that our older siblings will be reasonably stronger than us, with our father likely magnitudes stronger than us.

Our dad could likely beat Oozaru Goku.

Things are exploding in this city! I'm not going to blame anyone for running away from an explosion, which is specifically the reason why she wants to leave so quickly.

Be honest, if you're walking around in some foreign city, or, hell, even if you're walking around in your own city, and you start hearing these giant explosions from relatively close by ... what would you do? Cause, most people, they'd start running the opposite direction and they'd be right to do so.

Picking something up off the floor and then deciding to run away from explosions, I don't think it's such a bad thing. It's not the best, most moral decisions they could make, but it's not exactly bad or even unreasonable either.

Like, if this happened in the real world, someone picked up an object off the street and ran away from a bunch of really loud and close by explosions, it would be ridicoulous if the cops threw said person in jail and, honestly, they probably wouldn't. If the cops throw said people into jail .... I feel like people would get pissed. It would be on the news, everyone would be arguing about it, it'd be a huge deal. That would be ridicoulous.

So.. let's see.

You're saying that, for example, if say, the Queen left the Royal Crown/Jewels in a museum and entrusted the city with looking after it or whatever, and it got stolen and left on the street, and explosions were happening nearby, and somebody decided "Oh look, the crown jewels, we've been looking for that!" and skedaddled off with it, basically stealing it, that the police of Britain would just let that person go? Cos, they'd arrest them for attempting to steal/stealing the crown jewels of the nation, unless they were going to instantly return them- which evidently Bulma and Goku aren't looking to do, they're looking to run off with it.

The Dragon Ball is basically our equivalent in-quest of a real-life historical artifact or something like the crown jewels. Our dad, the sovereign, entrusted the dragon ball to the city. And these strangers are running off with it just like the thieves we just defeated. We have no reason to believe these aren't more thieves, and also that they won't fight us to not return it.

Beyond OOC knowledge at least.

Okay, yeah, didn't think that through 100%.

Still, I find it hard to blame them for picking something up off the street and running away from explosions.

Me and Tronadson appear to have different numbers somehow, so one or both of us have made a mistake. The both of us should probably double check our work.

Anyway, depending on how you view subvotes then Call Out is winning by either one or two according to my count, but if Tronadon's is right it's either a tie or Call Out wins by one, again judging by how you view subvotes. I'll recount, Tronadson should do the same, we will meet back here and try to figure out the cause of the conflicting numbers.

I found it. You have Derkan listed for both votes. I'm assuming he changed it.
BTW, you should get a tally program. It's super easy, and makes it all neat and stuff, with links to each vote.

Normally I'd say a subvote makes it a different vote than just voting for the main vote, but in this case the one subvote is basically what you would have done anyway. So with that I'll consider this the winning vote:

Well poo. Oh well, hopefully they mess it up enough that we fight them. I really want us to fight goku, both to get a measure of how good we are compared to him, and because that's what you DO in dragon ball before you become his friend, you try to beat the crap out of him.

Also, what was Bulma planning on wishing for when she got all 7? Can't remember.
