Okay... I managed to escape Selphia for the moment, let's hope I can stay away long enough to write this...

Just... a bit more of the same thing. Like always...

It probably says a lot about how often you've been reading about mythology that you can name every single book on those shelves... at least, right now. More will probably show up eventually, this library is weird like that. You're moving up to the bigger, more complicated books, though they all still tell the same stories.

You don't know why you keep reading them, when you can recite the main points of each story by heart, but... maybe you're just looking for something in particular.

"You... really like Greek myth, don't you, Amada-senpai?" Akira asks. You shrug.

"It's interesting." And slightly relevant to your life, somehow, but you aren't sure they'd believe that part. You wouldn't, if you hadn't picked up an Evoker and tried it out yourself. "I like how- how it's all the same stories, just told in a lot of different ways." So many different interpretations...

Then again, nothing involving Personas seems to have one singular correct interpretation, so maybe this is just another facet of that.
That is sort of how this stuff works.
"Really? That sounds... Confusing." You aren't entirely sure how to respond to Maiko's statement, but at the same time, you'd rather not stay silent. But you should still say something, so you do.

"I guess it can be, if you take it too seriously." Not that you can't see some parallels between the stories and the people who you associate with them, but you're trying not to think too hard about certain parts of that.

And you don't think you're the only one.
I don't think anyone really likes thinking about that stuff.
"I'm glad to see you're feeling better, though," Akira says. "You were sort of... distracted, for a while. It sort of... well... we were worried." He hadn't seemed more worried about anything than usual back when you were absorbed in your own personal crisis, but then, it's Akira. When scared of almost everything is the default state... there's not very far to go from there.

"What happened, anyway?" Maiko asks. "One day, you were fine, and the next..."

You sort of wish you could tell them. Because they don't really come into contact with Shinjiro-san and it... does get easier when more people know about it. But Maiko and Akira still have no idea on the existence of Personas in general, and you're fine with that. It just means that you have to talk with them about other things.

"I'm not... really sure how to say it," You tell them, instead. "And... it might happen again. But I'll try not to let it. There was just... a lot to deal with."

They seem to accept your answer. You're not sure if they should have, when there's so much you haven't told them, but... given that they don't experience the Dark Hour, as far as you're aware, odds are that they wouldn't believe you.

For once, you're actually sort of bothered by that thought.

It's difficult, but it seems to be possible for you to tell when your spear's weight is going to shift. It's not the only part of it that changes, but it's the part that has the most impact on how easily you'll be able to hit something with it, and even if it doesn't have that much of a point at the time, it'd still hurt if you hit someone with it hard enough.

...Admittedly, that's true of just about everything, but that's not the important part of this. What's important is the fact that, if you can figure out when the weight is going to change, there's a much lower chance of you dropping your spear. Which would not be something you'd want to happen in the middle of a battle.

You'd ask the others for advice, but you're the only one who can lift it without your energy being drained, so you don't think you'd get much help from there.

So you'll need to figure this out yourself. And you barely have an idea where to start. Maybe you could...

[ ] Channel some of your own magic through the spear, in order to partially stabilize it.

-[ ] Lightning

[ ] Work on your reflexes, so you can adjust to the shifts more quickly.

[ ] See if you can't improve your ability to sense the changes before they happen, so you can adjust ahead of time.

@SeekerofDreams: Would it prevent us from getting Gae Bolg the easy way?

We need to get around to telling them about the Dark Hour. Since it seems to now be actually bothering Ken.

Also, I advise against the magic to the spear thing if you guys actually want Gae Bolg since it feels like that's what'd happen if magic was thrown into it.

This option will allow us to use the spear in combat properly and give it a smiting ability (anything we cut with bless nihil will suffer holy damage, if we get our power on bless up particularly high we may be able to pull 1 cut killing levels of bs with this)

Should have gone with the Cross Spear. Considering how magic implantation is 99% guaranteed to remove the ability to get Gae Bolg.

May as well double up and try and improve Ken's sensory abilities, right?
