There's also the part where I am also more on the eldritch abomination side instead of the parasite part. (We did end up with both parts in this mess mind you.)
And also I find it unreasonable on your part to imply that I am interested in Yu's anima cor for some reason. (We've also got several different ideas about how this parasite of ours works anyway.)

Just gonna pop up some more random ideas for how our parasite works and exactly how it's situated in Yu's body.
1: It's mainly based in Yu's head.
2: It's spread through the entirety of their body.
3: It's attached to Yu's soul.
4: It's attached to Yu through several dimensions. (Idea behind it is that even if the parasite part gets removed on one dimensional level it doesn't get removed on the other levels.)
5: A mix of all of the above.
Knowing that there are several who wanted to play a full parasite run of Yu's life, I am still excited to see what happens next.
Then again it's all up to the QM how this works, seeing as this probably hasn't gotten too fleshed out yet.

Well, I am playing the parasite equation here more than the eldritch one, which is also me being a dick (please keep that in mind and tell me to stop if that becomes annoying. I am here for a little trolling and fun.) by sowing discord and worries to Yu by implying that, while we find them amusing and cute, we are still eating parts of them. Not parts that actually exist, mind you.

IC: My fellows I find myself doubtful that granting Yu Incredible Knowledge on the outset helpful to their intended goal. Do we even know what kind of Knowledge we are imbuing? I will be quite amenable to idea later on once we can concretely gather what kind of Knowledge it is that they desire.
Besides that I believe that "consent" is a very important human concept. If Yu is also aware beforehand it would mean that they actually desire this Knowledge and would be more willing to use this power positively rather than as a burden thrust upon them. This also gives them time to prepare for possible consequences.
I will be removing my vote for a power to show my willingness to discuss it with Yu beforehand

Today I figured out how the vote tally worked, well that's neat, I have now edited my vote post to actually work in the tally.
I believe consent is not something most of our horrors tend to think about, because there are several who wants to go right into the knowledge of portals and that is so far away from step 1 that I have no clue how Yu would remain sane with that knowledge.
For all, we know QM is actually the entire world and she's now slightly terrified of what she has unleashed upon a single mortal.
Also from how I read the incredible power part, it's essentially the cornerstone of granting knowledge, it's not so much knowledge as it is making sure Yu's mind remains stable even while we grant knowledge no mortal beings should ever know.

Also hehe funny thing is that I'm actually one of the peeps that wants portals. But I sure as heck wasn't gonna start putting in some wacky quantum physics in Yu's head. I meant it in a more we poke in a tentacle in space and Yu just passes through like a wormhole.
