He's noted as being a Heart/Logistics King on the discord, so I assume so.
I think what we've done so far has disrupted operations and been costly to him, but not beyond needing to take a couple actions tops to fix the damage.

I did mention he likely already set trade deals with some other Kings, the Trusted States is very close to him that shipping lines likely exist and Goji is always eager to conduct business with anyone.
And well John Adams is not one to engage in military conquest when words could achieve the same thing.
the only big deal thing we did was destroying the air defenses, we've also beat up the chief of police and a bunch of police officers but as long as that wasn't literally the entire police force then that shouldn't actually have that much of an impact.
we haven't had the chance to do anything else yet but we're going to be blowing up a ton of vehicles next turn, and considering how loud we're being we're practically guaranteed to wind up fighting whatever heroes he has in reserve.
the vehicles can be replaced, the dudes whole thing is being stupid rich even if he hasn't already set up the industry to replace them he could easily just trade for weapons and supplies from other kings, but beating up a hero team might have more of an impact, taking out his power heroes for a couple turns could actually fuck over some future actions for him.

Unlikely. While this is a mess there are full blown wars going on as well as an alien invasion
we don't really know what Space Channel 5 considers newsworthy, so it's hard to say at the moment.
and this just made me remember that the people who run that company will deliberately cause chaos to have something to report on when there are no major events happening. so we'll probably need to take them over too eventually to stop them from sabotaging us once we take over enough of the world.

Yeah, but after a certain point I imagine they'd like to shake it up a little. These people care about views, and war can get repetitive. Not to say they are ignoring the wars, just they might like to point the spotlight on other stuff occasionally if it seems like something watchers would enjoy.

Actually that would be funny. Of course what would be funnier is if it happened during this raid.
Edit: I can see it now, the black arms raid and Shadow is leading the charge. He even fights Metal Sonic for a bit until he sees Maria Oosawa and just freezes up, getting knocked out as he does so.
Naturally Metal will give him a few more broken bones as payback.
