oh great
the lame version win
now it would take forever to become a super badass Esper/Mage Hybrid

And I'll throw in a vote for Zooo just to make it really clear. That way we can actually get on with things.

*Is quite excited about this quest and character.*

Now I just have to figure out how to test Precognition...
I have tests lined up for the others...
But how would you even test Precognition?

I mean, I have a test for level 3 or 4 Precognition, but I really doubt that I level 1 Precog would be able to tell the future quick enough to dodge paintballs being fired at them from hidden points...

easy
have the examiner put a bunch of card face down at random, have them guess which card the examiner is going to pull up

Ugh, finally. At this point I stopped caring about winning and simply just want to just get on with it. It's not like it matters anyway, it never does in a quest.

Though I do wonder how much longer do we have to wait until we discover magic, able to use it, and actually gets an effective way of learning it that we can actually rely on magic because our ESP is basically just, well, ESP- the same type Touma has but active and conscious. Though it doesn't change that it requires great insight and agility to actually use effectively. So we have a passive ability that scales on statuses that we have little of and no other support/attack skills. I feel safe already.

Make it a bingo-like test. How quick, accurate, and consistent their results are indications on their level, but it might require a more intensive and specialized test later on or something.

Oh, now I'm remembering... Something but I can't remember where it's from.

It's from some Manga, but I can't remember exactly what, there are four little lights with a button in front of each, and you are supposed to hit the button that goes with the light that is about to light up.

And I remember the main character in the manga tried that test and got every single one wrong...

Ha! Kreskin's ESP Lamp. I knew I would be able to figure out what the test was called.

Still can't find the Manga, but I did find the machine in an article in the dec 1975 issue of Popular Mechanics.

Anyways, got that now, working on update.

Right, sorry everyone for not having gotten the chapter done. The weekend was HELL for me.
In particular, I learned something new about my car!
IT LEAKS IN THE RAIN

That and holy god was Mother's day busy at my work, and since both the Salad Bar lady and the Dish guy are really sick, I've been doing those two jobs in addition to my ordinary job.

Tell the Scientists what you see
Don't use the Level Upper
