Letter from Mom and Friends (Uiharu and Saten)
Androgynous (the trolling... the trolling  )
and Snarky

[X] Top of the Class - Are you certain? Still nothing? What does that even mean 'An AIM Field both like and unlike every AIM field I've ever seen?' Are you saying that... No? I'm still... Still a Level Zero then? *sigh* (+ to Intelligence, Get Good Membership in One Skill Out Gang, +???, -???, + Relationship ???)

[X] Friendly Acquaintances - While they aren't in your class, you have on occasion spoken with Saten-san and Uiharu-san. You've heard something about them knowing the Railgun, but that's just silly.
[X] While you still don't have any powers of your own, you do have a Sempai in Judgement who has at times helped you out when you needed it. But you've got a bit of a reputation around the Dorms as being connected to Judgement, and so Skill-Outs tend to stick clear of you.

[X]... To be completely honest, you don't like how cute you are, but you aren't really going to do anything to change. You wear clothes that you like, which tends to be somewhat masculine (lots of pants and button-downs, but they don't really help... TT__TT)

[X] Little Miss Snarky - You enjoy deadpan snarking.

Holy was Age of Ultron good. I loved every minute of it, and there were a number of really great twists.

Now I got to try and get Stiyl's personality down...

Stares at the Level Upper, Looks over at Touma...

Stares back at Level Upper...

Damn it, now this thought is really going to bug me.

No...

Well... Actually, from a Story point of view it doesn't but it ...Sort of does from a Mechanical point actually,

But I'm more interested in what would happen if Touma used the Level Upper.

unless it boost his esper power to the point that IB can't out right cancel it then touma get his hand on an Esp power until the LV UP network get shut down

Huh. Good point. If I recall the mechanics of his hand right, it gives a negating field all over his body, but just actively generated from his hand. So either it won't work in the first place, won't work as soon as he touches himself with his hand or he gets a power with IB won't negate. Not sure which.

...Would it?

I mean, don't forget about the first time that Touma communicated with the Imagine Breaker and something bigger suppressed it...

I was somewhat imaging that Level Upper might even somehow boost IB...

But then I remembered that IB is not magic, is not Gemstone and is not Esper... so perhaps not.

But what I was meaning is that the Level Upper gives you an EXP bonus, even if you lose a lot of it when you lose access to the Network, and that IB gives you a EXP Penalty for a short time due to the headache it gives you leaving you with problems being able to focus

Also, I'm kinda pissed that Imagine Shadow is a thing.

Not quite. He has to touch a power manifestation directly, So only if the power manifests on him directly.

In Touma's case...the Network would get his power. This is not a good thing for the Network, as an android uses power copy on Imagine Breaker and her whole arm exploded.

You can't just so and tie something to the Imagine Breaker and use that as an excuse for something to be able to break the rules all willy-nilly. That makes the Breaker just that much less special. If you are going to do that, you need to actually come up with and set rules and regulations for why something like that can do what it can do and why it can do what it does.

[FAILS TO WRITE MORE DUE TO SPOILERS OF LATER ARCS]

Or he temporarily crashes the network.

Coming up with a Reason for you to talk with Stiyl that isn't contrieved is hard.

"Wow you're huge"

Works wonders for an opener.

Either that or patrolling law enforcement thinks he's up to something nefarious with the cute girl and wacky chase ensues.

It probably would've been easier if we wanted to be a manly man, since we'd then be asking Stiyl how in gods name did he, a guy who looks the same age, or younger than us, grow up to be so goddamn big and buff, like Jesus what have you been eating man?

He's not buff though, he's kinda scrawny....for a 2 meter tall dude anyway. A 2 meter tall, 14 year old with tattoos, smoking and garbed as a priest.

Guy looked pretty damn muscular while he was in bed recovering from Endymion, and he was strong enough to carry out three girls out with him too, his main problem is just that using Innocentius is really taxing to the body, thus the glass jaw against Touma.

Though after looking at some google images in regards to buffness, maybe my standards are just too lenient...

Holy Shit, I knew that Stiyl was tall, but finally finding an image of him standing next to Index, who is about your height, really finally shows just how HUGE he is.

Index only comes up to his Elbow. Your like Waist high on him.

No, I can't believe the fucked up the sub.

Burst your bubble? The line is I'll break that illusion of yours.

Come on, It's Illusion Breaker so it breaks illusions.

A Certain Post in which that particular joke is starting to get old and from which further on Threadmarks are not going to be using any more.
For a moment you stare at the MP3 player, sitting there, the words taunting you.

Slowly, a hand reaches out... Level Upper. That mystery cure to not having powers. Just pop in the earbuds and boom - Your powers grow beyond what they could... what they would be before.

...

But no. If Doctor Dredan found out...

For a short moment you pause, letting your mind turn that thought over in your head. If Doctor Dredan found out.

If. You know, for all that characters on shows are all 'If this happens, if is good' and all that it seems obvious that such a thing would never happen... This here, in your hands.

The thought of using the Level Upper is a little intoxicating.

But no, at least, not right now. Perhaps a bit later.

Especially not somewhere that you just know that Dredan has bugged. Creepy ass scientist.

Now, don't get it wrong, you... tolerate the guy, and you'll forever be thankful, but... But it's never going to be hard to remember that for that man Science will always come first and the 'Relationship' between you and him is a purely professional one.

One which involves his profession including spying on you.

And on that note - Time to go.

Packing up your school stuff and grabbing your bag, you head out.

With a quick click, you lock the door before heading down the one flight of stairs down to the ground floor.

Now... On to school.

You hurry on, having already wasted a bit more time than you really meant to this morning...

Then, as you turn a corner, you stumble right into...

The giant stands there for a moment, looking a little confused, a shopping bag in each hand. "Huh?" He turns, then turns again... "Swore I felt something run into me..."

"S-sorry for running into you..." You mutter softly, staring up at the giant.

"Oh? Sorry, didn't see you there. You should be more careful." He shifts his bags both into one hand, and pats you on the head. "Ah, since you happen to be here anyways.... I'm looking for someone... A Touma Kamijou, Do you know him?"

Touma... Kamijou... The name is familiar... Oh, of course. The Unlucky Lightning Rod "Oh, uh yes, I do." You say giving a short bow, "Kamijou lives about three blocks to the west of here."

"Oh? I guess you haven't heard since it only happened last night, but there was a fire at his apartment, so he's not staying there tonight while they do repairs."

A fire... There's... There is something more. Something scratching at the back of your mind. "Oh well," The giant says with a sigh, "If you see him, could you tell him that Stiyl was looking for him and that I really need those books he borrowed back."

"If I see him I will do that." You say, as the giant - Stiyl - gives a brief wave as he starts off. How strange...

Fire... Why is that sticking out to you? Why is that?

Suddenly, like a knife between the eyes, the world explodes.

For a short moment the world sways and tilts, before you drop to your knees. It burns, it hurts. Everything... All of it, the world seems to warp and twist.

Then... It's over.

As soon as the pain had struck, it was gone. Rising to your feet, you glance around.

Everything seems to be in order, nothing seems to be wrong?

How... Stran- as you open your eyes, something catches your eye. A curtain of silk, just thin enough to be seen? No... an orb?

Maybe you should get out of it... You try to escape the strange sphere, but as you move, it moves as well. Always just beyond your reach. Not far, maybe an inch or two past your arms extended to their max.

Though... now that you are not so much looking at it, as much as looking around, there are others.... That girl there has an orb, and those two there have orbs as well. Some are bigger and some are smaller.

But that kid doesn't... and those three...

Daichi, Akira, Hiroshi... All three of them are level Ones, and all of them have the spheres...

Shaking your head, you turn away. Those three have a history of picking on Level Zeroes, and there is no way that you are going to...

Wait a moment.

You look down at your hands, and then at the sphere around you.

You couldn't be... Could you?

Did you just have a Level Shift?
[ ] Maybe... Maybe I should play around with all this and try and see what I can do...
[ ] Maybe, oh shit! I'm already running behind because of everything that's happened and that crazy giant, I need to get to the System Scan!
[ ] Me? Level Shift, yeah right, I'm just going to ignore this and head to school

As you make your decision, you are again aware of a weight in your pocket.
You still have the Level Upper...
[ ] Use it
[ ] Ignore it

Not completely happy with this update, but I really don't feel like I have Stiyl's personality down at all.
