    [X] Not one Step back: You'll hold each one of your Fort's until the situation at them is Untenable. (Will inflict severe losses and delays on the orcs but you will have to leave a single regiment of troops behind on a fortification to cover the defenders retreating to the next defence line.)
    [X] Ambushes: The Ranger's will Strike hard and true to decapitate large formations or elite units within the orc army before retreating into defensive positions. (Will slow them down slightly and inflict losses a bit risky to the Rangers.)

Given everything, I imagine that Durin explores the multiverse and try to find a way to break his condrum, finally understand how magic works with runes. It would be interesting to meet him in Arda while Dwarf do runesmithing, like, he suddenly pops up and no-one realised that until he speaks out: "That is very interesting..."

Durin The Lost previously know as The Greatest (I think that is the right title) was the greatest son of Thungi, a runelord at the begging on runecraft, while his father started runecraft, he was one who developed it. He created many runes, both mundane and master runes, and he taught other runesmiths. He wanted to find out how runes work, in the most secret way. But one thing was always giving him a problem, how magic worked with runes. That became Durin's Condrum, runesmiths called it that way when they are stuck on something involving runecraft and they can't find a way out of it. He was lost in it for so long that he disappeared. It was normal for him to dissappear for few months so Dawi were alright. But months turned into years, and then into half-century. That is when Thungi appeared and informed that his son was lost, which actually crushed many Dawi. The Greatest became The Lost. Constantly seeking answer to his condrum.

Please correctl me if I wrote something wrong.
 
You did not find anything because Soulcake completly made up Durin the lost for his quest.
Like he made up Glon king of Kraka Drak and Gimli king of Kraka-drak etc.
He is not an actual whf figure.
