Not really. This is like Hitting a square peg into a triangular hole. Kishi is going to refuse it because she's pretty obviously SEEN something to keep telling her otherwise, and us running in Instead creates an impression that one of these days, we're going to do it for the wrong Magical girl and get ourselves killed. Which to be fair is DEFINITELY possible, but not nearly as much as kishi thinks it is.
Keep on hitting then until one of the shapes give in.

The alternative is giving Kishi the impression that she's right to fear every single person that isn't in her circle of friends.
Not really. I personally expect it to be something akin to how Evelyn acted under the Witches kiss: Not relationship destroying, but the actions certainly hurt her significantly long afterwards, and we had to help her get over those issues. In fact, I'm still not 100% sure if they've gone away completely. This would be worse than that because
A) Kishi isn't under a witches kiss, this would all be stuff she genuinely thinks or worries about

B) Magical Girl, Despair is lethal, and we only have so many greif seeds

C) Kishi has the hots for us. If she does anything that ends up hurting us, she's going to beat herself up about it, and mentally hurt herself 10 times worse than she does usually.

Also, side note, Kishi thinks that she's a terrible person and a monster, partly for her appearance, but also probably for simple everyday things that don't actually matter all that much. That kind of mentality will take any opportunity to put itself down and say that it's an awful human being, no matter how small or meaningless. Which means that when she does something that actually does hurt a little, it mentally becomes so, so much worse.
She's going to beat herself up over it, but she'll also try to improve in order to avoid similar situations again.

It'll be a very painful journey towards self-improvement, but that's what the support network we gathered is for in the first place. Let's put it to use.

No, it's really really not.

The alternative is we realise this runs way, WAY deeper than just some surface other magical girl oh no, and take steps to get that trauma out of the way. Triggering that trauma is knowingly amping up her stress level.

Yes and No.

We'll be able to help he out with something like this, but unless we take steps to do that, she's not just going to improve. Heck, she might instead decide that it would be better if she tries to avoid contact with us, because she feels like she ends up hurting us. People do dumb things and then stick to them when they lash out. And even if it looks like the issue has cleared up on the surface, it might well not. It wouldn't be the first time in PMMM that someone beats themselves up over lashing out at a friend and doesn't properly resolve said issue (Hello Sayaka).

HOWEVER, that support base will come in incredibly useful if she does snap, especially in helping to remind her that no, she isn't a terrible person for doing what she did, it's understandable. But she won't really realise that by herself because she won't let herself.

*sigh* Why are we even go to Mitakihara anyway if Kishi have trouble meeting new magical girl? There's no reason for us to go here except because we want to meet canon character.

The alternative I spoke of isn't divorced from what you've said. Amping up her stress level temporarily is better than giving credence to her paranoia, which is a lot harder to remove.

Of course we'll take steps to help our friends improve. She might distance herself, but we're gonna chase after her anyway.

Unlike Hitomi who didn't know about the whole MG business, or Madoka who wasn't part of the 'in-group' of Meguca, Tamiko has the ability to intervene effectively not just with social skills, but with actual magic.

The alternative is giving Kishi the impression that she's right to fear every single person that isn't in her circle of friends.

But she's not fear every single person!
She's fear unknown magical girls and she's absolutely right.
I strictly believe that most of experienced megucas are Kyouko-like or even worse.
Fear and cautious is absolutely right reaction.

FINE

NOOOO!
Don't give up, Corinthian!
Don't let this cake-lovers sway you!
I'm not swayed, I'm just annoyed to the point of starting to honestly see a shitstorm go down just to say 'I told you so'...Which is pretty terrible of me as a person.

Everyone, I'm sorry for being petty. I think that going after Mami is kind of a trap, because it plays into SV's love of shinies that we so often get tripped up by,but I should not have acted like such an ass hole. that was no one elses fault but mine.
I really didn't mean to anger you. Wasn't my intention. Sorry.

Please don't change your vote because I threw a hissy fit, really that's only making it worse.

So, manual Vote Count time.

--[x] I don't know. I can kinda understand it... I know magical girls can be dangerous. But at the same time, some of the best friends I ever had were magical girls. I never would have met Kishi or Ariane if I didn't take that chance. And they are such wonderful friends. I could never regret that. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. So maybe... just maybe that girl is another Kishi or another Ariane or maybe she's a girl that wants friends just as much as I do. Maybe she isn't. But maybe she is. But nothing is going to happen if I don't take that chance.

[X] Apologize to Kishi
-[X] I know you're scared for us, but I can't just sit by. If I was too afraid of getting hurt to reach out to people, I'd never have met you, Kishi, or any of you. I have to try.
[X] Get up, and follow the drill girl.
-[X] Try to telepathy her. "Hello? Can you hear me? I'm the brown haired girl behind you. Sorry to surprise you, but I saw your ring and wanted to say hi. I'm Tamiko, and I've been a magical girl for a few weeks now. Would you like to talk? It's fine if you don't, I won't be mad."

The discussion seems to have passed, but a few nits to pick.
By the time we get to her, she's likely to be outside in "the darkening night."
We are just one person, the more friends we have - the less time we spend bonding with each of them.
I doubt Mami's going to move from Mitakihara, so it's not like we're actually going to be spending much time with her. I think of this as more of acquiring a acquaintance in another city, expanding our awareness and last-hope ally possibilities.

All that said,

I can't believe that, if Ziz thought this trip would be an opportunity for meeting canon people, we'd only get one chance, so I think taking this opportunity to tell Kishi what we think about unknown magical girls sets the groundwork for us chasing after the next chance we get to approach a new magical girl.

I suppose I should correct a certain misconception here. While getting a chance to meet with canon cast was no doubt a desireable prospect on a lot of people's minds during the course of the planning phase, it is and never was the primary purpose. That was to give Evelyn and especially Ariane a chance to spend quality adventure time with the group without stress or magic. In this regard the tour is a success, with the added bonus of genuinely boosting your relations with Mariko too (she was genuinely happy about actually getting to go to the science exhibition). Meeting with canon characters was only a theoretical thing in my eyes and I decided that your tour plan warranted the appearance here.

However, don't fall into despair about missing a chance canon characters. They won't die or disappear off-screen if you don't get too involved with them. And it's not like I'm forbidding you from visiting Mitakihara again at any rate. The city is big enough for a good 3+ tours more.

Just remember that the focus of the quest is still on the adventures of Tamiko and co.

This is actually what I figured the case was, and I, for one, am still happy to not interact with them (for its own sake, Kishi paranoia, etc could be a good reason). After all, we've got mounds of canon-y quests, but only one with this bunch!

Well, even if we don't want to reap the benefits of having more powerful and experienced Meguca like Mami helping us, or leaving the Mikitahara group to suffer their own fates, do you really think events in that city won't drag us in at some point? Like, a certain Dreadnaught Witch, a certain pinkette witching out, a green-haired precognitive wanting more backup for her mission than just her girlfriend, or a time traveling Yandere wanting to know what the cause of the change in events is?
