You blink in surprise as what Evelyn said fully registers to you. Did she just say…?
"Wait a second… Moon Nazis? Evelyn, what are you even-?" you ask, but stop yourself, shake your head, and turn to look at the girl with a questioning expression.
"What is this movie you speak of? Because frankly, it sounds too silly to be real."
"Oh, it's real alright! It's called, um… Just a sec?" Evelyn tries answering, falling into a silent pause as she attempts to recall the title.
"Bleh, can't remember it to save my life." she admits after a moment, sounding a bit embarrassed about it.
"I don't think I've ever even heard of a movie like that?" Mariko interjects quickly, sounding a bit relieved at no longer having to directly deal your space-craziness under the confusion. But if she thinks she's off the hook by this pivot, then she's going to have another thing coming!
But that's for later. Right now, you have silly movies to talk about!
"Small wonder, I don't think it was a very big hit," Evelyn explains with a shake of her head.
"I watched it only myself because my brother was forced to bring me along to the cinema. I can't recall much of the movie itself, but even back then I remember thinking it was pretty silly."
"I-it was that bad?" Kishi asks worriedly.
"...Not bad really, no? But it wasn't exactly a masterwork either," Evelyn says with a noncommittal shrug.
"I did get some thrills from the movie, but it didn't leave that much of an impression. I actually remembered watching it now!"
"Hmm, maybe we could all watch something like that together later, though?" you suggest and lean against the table with your elbows.
"Actually does anyone know any other silly movies? Silly movie marathon sounds like fun!"
"Hmm… I don't think I've ever seen any silly ones. Then again, I haven't watched many movies in the first place either," Ariane notes with a slightly disappointed edge to her voice.
"M-me neither, sorry," Kishi adds up. The movies you've watched together weren't really that silly to be honest. Though now that you think of it, you do recall suggesting going to see another installment of the series you were watching? You'd have a pretty good group of friends for it now too, if you could find the moment.
"If we're talking about silly movies… Well, there's this one with the entire premise being about giant mechs punching giant monsters in the face?" Mariko suggests with a thoughtful nod.
"I, uh… can't recall any other ones off the top of my head, but that one was pretty silly."
"Oh, I remember that one!" Evelyn gushes out brightly, while almost jumping off her seat. She coughs into her fist and attempts to continue with as strong a baritone as she can.
"Tonight we are cancelling the apocalypse!" The girl shakes her head and coughs for real this time.
"God damn, I had shivers running down my spine!"
"Yeah, it was a fun one all the way…" Mariko says with some surprise in her voice.
"Haven't the rest of you watched it?"
"N-no…"
"Nope?"
"What is this movie you're even talking about?"
Evelyn's face breaks into a wide, almost predatory grin and she strikes up a very relaxed posture on the seat.
"Alrighty then! Let me tell you about the glory of the dumb, awesome robot movie..."
You never knew you wanted to see something that silly this badly.

You've long since realized that the biggest mall within reasonable distance is way bigger than any of those back up in Northern Mitakihara. Conversely, many of the stores are a lot bigger than what you're used to. This is something of a double-edged sword to you.
On one hand, there's so much fun places to explore that you can't really visit everything you'd like to. You can now understand how Ariane must feel about most things out there. It's so much fun!
On the other hand…
"Uhh, are these the things Kishi likes?" you mutter to yourself and pick up one box from the shelf for a closer look. To you, they all look practically the same once you get to the shelves with human soldiers. This makes it a lot more difficult to find the ones Kishi collects. Why is trying to be helpful so difficult?
"Then again, I don't think these look th-"
"Wh-what are you looking at, Tamiko?"
To your credit, you don't scream in surprise at all when Kishi suddenly appears right behind you without any warning. You simply yelp loudly, jump in the air, and desperately hide the box you were holding behind your back while you spin around to face her.
"Ehe he heh… Um, just checking stuff?" you laugh out awkwardly, shifting on your feet.
"Oh, I see… What's t-that behind your back, though? D-did something catch your interest?" Kishi continues, leaning slightly to the side to see better. At first you reflexively try to hide the box further, but give up nigh immediately. She's already caught you, it's no use.
"Huh, this?" you ask nervously and bring the box out.
"Uh… Um…"
"Oh, are you interested in start out the game then?" Kishi suddenly asks you with wide eyes. You would just need to say one word to let it rest, and then pivot it elsewhere. You just need to say the word, you just need to...
"M-maybe?"
...Damn it, Tamiko! You're not supposed to give in under happy smiles! You know you're not actually planning on starting an expensive hobby like this! Not even if your friend looks genuinely joyous about this.
"Ah, y-you should have told me! Come on, they have starter boxes here! T-they come with rules and the paints and all," Kishi explains, subtly motioning for you to follow her. You do as she wants and follow after her to another shelf, all the while screaming internally.
You end up leaving the store with a huge box and a happy Kishi in tow. Anything for your friends, you suppose…

"Behold the great cheesecake of the legends!" you announce to your friends as you march out of the bakery with Ariane. At the same time, you're proudly presenting the Japanese cheesecakes you bought from the bakery: all three of them!
"Truly there exists a cake god, and he's blessing us!"
The fact that the store actually sold these one fresh is just icing on the cake. You couldn't resist the temptation. They're just so soft, fluffy and yummy… Almost perfect food for Fluffy, now that you think about it! It's sad that he can't eat anything, but maybe he can taste the cakes in spirit?
You nod to yourself, satisfied by your belief of spirit plushies. Fluffy is so amazing!
"Huh, that's sweet!" Evelyn exclaims and moves closer to inspect your finding.
"Aren't these things expensive, though?"
"Nope! I got the third one for free," you explain, presenting the fresh cakes closer to your friend.
"And you can smell the tasty aroma, can't you?"
"Sure can! Although, what did Ariane buy? She seems to have, uh…" Evelyn trails off, her gaze locking with the large plastic bag hanging on the girl's arm.
Ariane smiles widely and hums happily.
"Oh, I couldn't really decide on what I really wanted, so…"
"...Yeah, she bought most types of things they sold there."
"No regrets! Only pastries!" Ariane announces with a firm nod.

"Hmm, they really have a great selection to choose from here," Evelyn notes as she sets the headphones back down on their handle.
"Here I'd thought you wouldn't have even heard about these bands in Japan."
"...What were you even listening to?" Mariko asks with a raised eyebrow.
"It's le secret~!" Evelyn says with a sly smile and a wink.
"I bet you'll never guess!"
"Hmm, let's see... You're into rock?"
"...Darn, I left the shuffler on," Evelyn curses with a sigh.
"No matter, how about you?"
"...It's le secret," Mariko decides after a moment.
You smile from behind Mariko at Evelyn and shake your head. She has yet to realize that you totally saw her shuffle some songs that had anime girls in sailor uniform on the cover! Behind you Ariane keeps humming along to some instrumental score, while Kishi bobs her head along to a song that you can't quite make out.

Your little tour through the stores ends up near the river running through Mitakihara and a nice-looking tea shop nearby, with a view towards the wide stream. On the other end of the river opens the industrial areas of the city, and the town of Kazamino. But that's for another adventure. It's already getting dark outside and this place marks the end of your journey South.
That's not to say you're really done yet! It's been a long day, and most of you simply want to wind down after an exhausting adventure. A cafe is a good place for this after all, and you're all now waiting for your orders. You'll have some good time remaining!
What do you do?
[] Share the cheesecake!
[] Talk with your friends!
[] People-spotting?
[] Ask Ariane to call her aide to take you home. Time to call the evening.
[] Write-in.

And thus we reach the end of your Mitakihara plan
.
Also, probably won't matter too much, but I'll let you decide on Tamiko's tastes on music.
