Also he basically can't do shit without a teenage girl to do the hard work for him, so there's that too. :V

Clearly, Kyubey and Hitomi have the same relationship as George Lucas had with everyone else involved in the Star Wars movies; Kyubey writes dreck with a few good qualities, and Hitomi turns it into something actually enjoyable and does most of the work.

And Kyubey then modifies the final product. For example, he makes the gunner Meguca shoot second, rather than first. :V

Poor monster, it never stood a chance ...

Okay guys, the core of the angel is visible now. This is our chance to attack and finish this ugoly monster in one swoop while showing that red devil who's the boss in here :V.
[X] Grab the AT sword, and slash at the alien starfish. For righteous glory!!!

@Blueberry8
Your plan won't work, and lacks proper tactical depth to be even considered viable. You are endangering Madoka's favorite character the MC with a reckless and suicidal plan. The angels of @[AnonymousQM] have shown that they are capable of adapting to our new tactics for some reason, and none of these things even resemble the canon ones to my knowledge. And I've seen those a thousand times, I would know. Thus it is better to take our position and shoot at it with maximal firepower while it is just standing there. Even if we fail to take down the giant, we can weaken it for the finishing blow

[X] AT-enhance your Railgun and take a position in the hill range with maximized visibility for you.

-[X] Aim at the core.

---[X] If it charges you, get more distance between you two for another shot. Don't get caught.
[X] Use remaining AT power to charge up time dilation as per the theory I presented in my post 666666.

For fuck's sake, stop it with the constant science shit already! I think the QM is pulling their hairs out to keep those things up with those crazy schemes of yours.

@Blueberry8
I disagree with the plan on every level, but since I see no better ones here.

[X] Seyiku

Don't get it wrong or anything, I'm just too tired to think of a proper vote, that's all :rage:! And we need to murader this thing quickly.

Principal-Principles:
Guys, please, there's no need to be that harsh to each other. But @fedreddeath does have a point, there's no need to go for overly elaborate plans, especially when we consider how hard this battle has been on our poor MC. I suggest we just finish this and go check on our friend. I mean, we know she is okay OOC due to the Side Story, but our MC must be worried to death after having seen the damage done to their best friend's EVA.

Let's not lose our heads with the over planning, okay?

[X] Enhance your railgun with your AT filed and finish off the angel.
-[X] Contact the rescue team, plead them to find your friend.
--[X] Help however you can.

Fowlpocky:
[X] Principal-senpai.
-[X] Hug everyone and apologize.

@Principal-Principles has a good idea, I think... But I think we should hug everyone too and tell them we are sorry, we must have worried everyone sick back there...

I'm not sure, just something I thought of.

TimeIsOnOurSide:
[X] Fowlpocky

It is a good plan. And you are one good player, don't worry.

Now I'm imagining what the characters of Memento Mori would be like as questers.

Tamiko and Kishi would have some system worked out where Tamiko handles the social votes and Kishi runs the combat. Kishi would occasionally put cutesy messages in her vote that completely go over Tamiko's head.

Evelyn would mostly just modify other peoples votes, although occasionally she and Tamiko would disagree over Tamiko's hug everything approach to social.

Arianne would be the new person who just joined the quest, and is trying to help out in the combat votes, but because she's new, makes mistakes and feels bad about it.

Hirohito is the QM. He is evil.

[X] Telepathy Kishi and Ariane. Wish them a good morning.

[X] Prepare for school.

[X] Go eat breakfast.
-[X] Glare at your uncle.

There is no helping it, procrastinating won't help you get out of this situation, as tempting as it sounds. You sigh in defeat yet again and hop off your bed to prepare for the upcoming day. Behind you, Evelyn grumpily follows as she rises up to sit on the sheets and takes a quick look around your room. Her gaze locks onto the pile next to the closet containing everything she had on her person when you went out

You give the girl an apologetic look and rub your neck in embarrassment as you try to explain the bundle on the floor, "S-sorry about that… We couldn't take a trip to your home yesterday, so, uh, that's all you have for school and this morning... Um, we could take a detour there on our way if you'd like?"

Evelyn shakes her head slowly in answer and swiftly crawls out of the bed towards the pile of her stuff, "It's fine, I'll manage," she tries to assure you, even if she sounds somewhat unsure as she goes through her clothes. You nod at her and move to pick out your own school uniform neatly folded on the chair of your table.

You don't waste much time in the room, hastily changing for the upcoming day before rushing to the bathroom to brush your teeth. With no uncle of Evelyn there to talk with, you instead decide to telepathically contact your friends elsewhere in the town, 'G-good morning Kishi! G-good morning Ariane! How are you two today?'

The first response is from Ariane, the girl once more bursting with enthusiasm and merriness, 'Good morniiiiing~! And I'm fine, it's sunny out today too!' You smile slightly at the response, but avoid chuckling at the positive response. It would probably sound weird if you started chuckling in the bathroom with no one there with you, not to mention you are still quite preoccupied with the toothbrush.

'G-good morning, b-both of you,' Kishi follows in an almost amused tone, 'I-I'm still packing my school supplies in home s-so it will take a moment to come pick you up... Y-you're awake quite early today, T-Tamiko.'

You spit out the last remains of the tooth paste to the sink and pick up the water glass for a quick gulp to wash down the taste. 'I-I went to sleep early,' you begin and try to think what to tell them about Evelyn's situation, 'I didn't want to have uncle ask about Evelyn… Speaking of her, she seems to be mostly okay and will be coming to school normally!'

'Awww, I want to come to your school too,' Ariane whines at you, 'It's no fun waiting here! Please tell me you are coming over today too?'

'W-we'll have to see s-since we don't know yet what the d-day will bring to us,' Kishi chides the other girl lightly, 'B-but it is good to hear she is okay... W-well, I-I guess I'll be seeing you outside later, I-I'll ask more there.'

You grimace inwardly, not too keen on the idea of explaining what happened last night. However, Kishi seems to be intent on asking, so you will probably have to warn Evelyn and think of something to say.

You lay aside the glass and send a last message to your friends, 'Y-yeah... but I'll be going for breakfast now. See you two!'

You practically jog out of the room and towards the kitchen, attracted by the intensifying aroma of pancakes being prepared. Blushing Evelyn is already sitting next to the table, desperately searching for anything else other than the huge pile of pancakes laid in front of her to look at. Although, it doesn't look like she has talked about anything with your uncle, who is calmly waiting for you to arrive, and turns to look at you with that accursed, amused smirk of his.

You put on your best game face by puffing your cheeks and glaring intensely at your uncle as you move to sit next to the table. Even as you start filling your pile, you still refuse to lift your hateful stare leveled against the most evil man alive. Even as you try to eat the now messy pile of pancakes, you refuse to avert your gaze for even a second.

Your uncle simply raises his eyebrow higher as he watches your antics, and only bothers to comments when you are unsuccessfully trying to guide the fork with an entire pancake speared with it into your closed mouth, "Tamiko… You do realize that eating is rather difficult like that? Not to mention, what you probably meant to be a hateful glare is more akin to a pout..."

The nerve of that man... Daring to have a good point...

"Besides, it seems like you two had... well, some emotionally rough times yesterday. I won't be prying you for what exactly happened... Just know that I'm willing to help if something is troubling you two," he continues.

Next to you, Evelyn pointedly averts her gaze from both of you.

What do you do?

We haven't said how we arranged for Evelyn to stay over, have we?

We shouldn't forget to mention to Evelyn that we texted her parents that she was staying over, while pretending to be her. We don't need to tell her immediately, of course, but we should make sure to get our stories straight over the course of the day, the sooner the better, because her parents may bring it up, if only to tell her to text earlier next time.

It would be inconvenient if she ended up poking holes in our cover story because she doesn't know that her parents have already been mollified. Kyubey could probably do something, but it seems to have vanished, so we should take care. Speaking of which, should we try pinging QB again?

I'm thinking that we should let the uncle in on our MGness sooner rather than later. I think that he would be an asset as opposed to a liability.

Shouldn't we address this in the vote also?

Also,

"Oh… Good morning Tamiko... Hmm, I think I can smell pancakes?" she mutters half-asleep and tries to look you in the eyes with drooped eyelids, "Um, by the way, why are we... Uh, you know... Wait… Oh. Oh no, no, no… P-please tell me that we didn't- Oh God..."

Some form of realization seems to dawn on her all of sudden, banishing the signs of tiredness from her face in an instant, only to replace them with pure panic. She immediately throws off her hands from the hug and retreats back on the bed to get a bit more distance between the faces of you two, rising to lean on the bed with her arms. Her gaze has turned pleading and a clear red blush is rapidly spreading on her cheeks.

Your face starts mirroring hers as soon as you realize just what she is probably referring to. In a desperate to bid to calm her down you forcefully start stammering out loud, "No! I-it's nothing like that, I swear! D-don't even say that kind of things..."

Your fierce denial seems to be enough for Evelyn to calm down considerably as she sighs in relief. She closes her eyes and the blush on her face fades, even if it doesn't fully disappear yet, "Thank God, here I thought for a moment… Well, if nothing happened, it's all okay!"

Why the heck did she think that something happened?:V

She wasn't that out of it the other night was she?

Perhaps get Ariane's father help tell uncle when he pick us up at Arianne house. Would be interesting to see the two exchange perspective.

Well, mostly the fact that you were both still hugging each other, combined with the topic last night. And Tamiko was visibly discomfortable with something.:V

I'm not completely sure. If we didn't have school today, then I might say now actually. But we do, so at the soonest it would be after that. But the longer we take, the more likely something else is going to distract us and cause us to delay again.
Look, it's an obvious distraction!

You drop the failed attempt at an intimidating glare, let the pancake back on your plate and take a look at Evelyn. What you talked last night was quite confidential and the reasons for having said conversation in the first place are not exactly something you can easily go and explain.

So while your uncle appears to be taking this seriously and is likely sincere about his willingness to help, you will have to pass on this one. "It's fine, don't worry. W-we can make it through on our own, we've cleared things already. There's no need for you to get involved at this point, uncle," you explain to him.

He doesn't appear fully convinced about your explanation, but nods anyways, unwilling to pursue the topic further. You doubt you are fully off the hook yet, but at least you and Evelyn can get some peace from him for a while. However, it is probably better to ensure that the breakfast chatter won't be resolving around touchy subjects like this, so you decide to pre-emptively steer the conversation elsewhere.

"B-but enough about that! How was your work? Y-you were working so late yesterday I didn't even catch you coming home during the evening," you ask your uncle, that being the first thing to pop into your mind. The man leans on his chair in resignation as he tries to figure out just what to tell you. Next to you, Evelyn has reluctantly returned to her pancakes that she is devouring with increasing speed.

"Maa~, what to say… Well, first of all, I wish I never have to participate in meeting like this... Firmly established, privileged semi-criminal groups are annoying to deal with…" he explains calmly, "I won't bore you with the details, but damn can this particular branch keep things dragging on if the current proposition isn't to their liking. Thank god for the day off, because it's sorely needed after this one."

"W-why would you have to participate in a meeting like that then?" you ask him curiously as you start eating through your pancakes again. Next to you Evelyn seems to be listening in too, even if not very closely.

"Established, remember? I won't lie to you, occasionally it felt like it would just be nicer to rise up and kick everyone in the face before seeing them get judged. But things don't work out like that. Going full hero of justice tends to get other people hurt too, so we'll just have to live and let live."

Well, you guess… It does sound quite cynical though. but chances are your uncle knows what he is doing, so you can let it lie, instead focusing on eating through your breakfast so you won't be late for school, only occasionally asking about some small detail about his work and the upcoming day. The only real thing you learn is that he has promised to go to the city with Cathy today, something to keep in mind if you go there too.

However, time doesn't stop for breakfast and soon enough you and Evelyn excuse yourselves from the table. You pick your bags and walk outside to meet up with Kishi, only stopping to pick up lunch boxes your uncle prepared for both of you. She isn't there yet, leaving you two to wait for her next to the doors.

"S-so, uh…" you try to take chance to start a conversation, realizing that there is something you really need to tell her, "I-I think I should tell you that I, um… texted your parents last night... With your phone… Uh, I didn't do anything else, just told them you'd be staying over for the night!"

Evelyn stares at you with puzzlement on her face as you hastily admit what you did yesterday, before her eyes widen in realization. "You did what!?" she asks you in a high voice, sounding more surprised than genuinely angry with you.

It doesn't stop you from flinching and rubbing your neck, "W-well, I kind of had to warn them somehow… Y-you weren't waking up and they were asking after you! B-but I also had to make sure you were safe and the witch didn't leave any after effects…"

"You could have just called an ambulance?" Evelyn suggests plainly and folds her arms.

"...Maybe? But… Well, I didn't want to have you wake up alone, especially after last night," you explain to her. She quietly lifts her gaze off you and turns it to the sunny sky above you for a few moments.

"Heh, thanks for that…" she eventually tells you, "But seriously, could you avoid using my phone in the future without my permission? It's kind of weird, even if I can understand why you did that."

You nod furiously in return. "S-sorry, I will avoid that in the future! But, uh… hey, is that Kishi coming over there?" you ask as you notice the small figure approach you two in the distance

You briefly notice Evelyn's eyes widen and her body tense up when you say that, but it is gone in a near instant. She turns to look at the direction the other girl is coming from with a smile on her face and waves at Kishi. It feels somewhat forced, but you refrain from commenting for now.

"Morning Kishi!" Evelyn lets out as soon as the girl is next to you, "So, uh, how are you today?"

Kishi returns the gesture with a hesitant nod and looks at the both of you for a moment as she answers, "G-good morning to you too… and I-I'm fine... thanks..."

"Okay, with everyone here, I-I think we should start heading for the school now," you preemptively attempt to prevent an awkward stand-off and gesture, already realizing where this is going. "B-by the way, is everyone okay with going over to Ariane's today too? Or at least picking her up after school," you ask them as you start walking down the streets with you in the middle.

"I'm… Well, I'm okay with that," Evelyn says after a moment's hesitation sounding a bit unsure, "But I think I should go check on folks back home first, I don't think they'll be too thrilled about me being away for another afternoon without seeing them even once."

"I-I'm okay with the idea," Kishi carefully allows and turns to look at you and Evelyn, "B-but… um, well… D-did anything happen with you two? I-I mean, after last evening..."

Well, uh...
