    "L-last night?" you nervously stutter at the question. You can understand why Kishi would be curious about this, you really can. She was there when the Kiss took hold after all and was clearly affected badly by Evelyn's words. But you are also forced to admit that you have not prepared for this question well enough to say anything, and you doubt Evelyn is too keen on making things clear with Kishi right here and now.

    Well, that's what you tell yourself anyways as you try to think what to say.

    Even more importantly, you are in no hurry to tell about the way you woke up this morning: in a shared blanketed hug between you and Evelyn after a talk about first kisses. Kishi may be your most consistent ally in your eternal war against the foul teasing of your uncle, being another one of his poor victims. But if she were to find out about this, there would be no telling how she would react. Thus you must hide the secret, for her sake!

    Again, that is something you try to convince yourself of as you look for any excuses not to admit everything.

    "W-well, uh, nothing in particular happened, you see... and…" you say and try to think of anything clever to say to get Kishi's attention elsewhere. Unfortunately, your brain hits nothing suitable for solving this problematic situation, and thus you are forced to resort to more desperate methods.

    "Look, a diversion!" you desperately shout and point at a randomly chosen direction in the city around you. For some inconceivable reason, Kishi doesn't appear to be fooled at all by your clever ruse as she looks at you with increasingly more worried expression etched on her face.

    "S-so something really happened... B-but… W-why is that something y-you can't tell me?" she asks you, sounding almost hurt about it. Next to you, Evelyn pointedly averts her gaze from both of you, focusing on the cold pavement under you as you walk towards the school.

    What do you do?

    [] "More diversions!" run away while she is distracted!

    Because now is the time to cut it out. When we've gotten to the point where we are actually beginning to genuinely hurt Kishi's feelings, it's time to stop playing around.
