[X] Tacklehug Evelyn! She's alive awake!
-[X] Tell her that you're really glad that she's finally up.
[X] Ask her if she remembers what happened. Is she okay?
As soon as you truly realize the sight in front of you, that Evelyn is now fully awake, you swiftly bolt up from your futon. The girl doesn't even get a chance to react as you tackle her back to the bed and wrap yourself around her to hug her with everything you have. You make an honest attempt at being as quiet as possible, not wanting to disturb your uncle sleeping in the other room.
However, the joy of seeing your friend awake and well is difficult to contain and a small squee of happiness manages to escape your lips as the two of you crash on top of your normal bed. She doesn't get to put up any resistance as she gets trapped into your almost constricting embrace. Only a slight wheeze can be heard from her due to the power of your impact.
"Evelyyyyn! Y-you're okay...." you joyfully chime at the girl and snuggle closer to her, "W-we were all so worried about you, since you wouldn't wake up, and, and…" You force yourself to stop your low-volume rambling and take a closer look at Evelyn's face to check her reaction. Strangely enough, she seems to be trying to tell you something as her mouth keeps opening and closing like she was some form of fish.
You ease your grip on her a bit and curiously ask her, "Uh, E-Evelyn, I can't hear you?"
As soon as you finish the sentence, she manages to weakly wheeze out a single drawn-out word, "Aaiiiiiiiirrrrrrrr…."
Oops. You sheepishly ease your hug on Evelyn, but refuse to let go of her yet. The girl takes several long breaths to get all the precious oxygen she can while you watch her in embarrassment, "S-sorry about that, I got a bit carried away… B-but Evelyn, I'm so glad to see you finally up! Y-you wouldn't wake up no matter what we tried. I-I almost thought that you had…"
You leave the sentence unfinished and let it hang in the air, instead turning your thoughts elsewhere, "Still… D-do you remember what happened? A-are you feeling okay?" You turn to look Evelyn in her eyes.
She flinches and averts her gaze as soon as your eyes meet. She makes a small attempt at moving her body from your hug, but seems to conclude that trying to leave now would not work as falls still again. You can feel a sinking feeling in your stomach get exponentially worse as you watch her reaction.
"...I'll be fine. But I think I should just go home now… I shouldn't be here bothering you anymore," she tries to excuse herself quietly, skirting around the first question. She is definitely not okay if you had to warrant a guess.
What do you do?
