[x] Go pick yourself a spare futon from Kimiko's, uncle's room.
[x] Telepathy Mister Kyubey. Try and find out if there's anything you can do about Evelyn's condition.
[x] If there's nothing that can be safely done. Find Evelyn's phone.
-[x] Text her parents. 'Staying over a friend's'
--[x] Note the language the phone is set to. You may need to retranslate.
[x] Turn in.
You sigh in disappointment at seeing Evelyn's state. It is becoming increasingly likely that she won't be waking up for a good while, even if she is not in any real danger anymore. You walk fully into the room and sit down on your bench to think about this problem.
Kishi said that she would wake up, but the time is not exactly clear. Furthermore, you don't think it is wise to have Evelyn's parents get worried about her, something they are certain to do if she doesn't come back home today. Considering the time, they are probably already getting nervous about this.
You sigh again. Maybe Mr. Kyubey would know something about this? He is probably an expert on witches and their kisses, what with having introduced you to this world and all. You certainly cannot lose anything by asking at least, and you focus on trying to reach him through your telepathy again,
'M-mr. Kyubey? A-are you free at the moment? I-I need to ask you something…'
You pause to listen, hoping to get any sign that Mr. Kyubey had heard you this time seeing as you still don't know why he couldn't come and pick up the seed today. Unfortunately, you are greeted only by silence on the other end. You are starting to feel anxious about this, but you try again with a higher volume,
'M-mr. Kyubey? Please, are you there?'
Again there is no answer from him, and you bow down your head in disappointment. Maybe he can't be contacted by telepathy in the first place? Come to think of it, he seemed to appear before only when you threw a seed... Perhaps you could talk with him the next time you have a filled seed.
But for now, getting rid of your current ones would be wasting them…
You rise up from the chair and move to find Evelyn's phone on her person. Looks like you will be lying to her parents about this… Fortunately for you, she hasn't hidden it on her person and you are soon staring at the screen and finding that she has already received a couple of messages from her
'Dad'.
You don't go through the contents of the messages too closely, having some respect to her privacy, but the gist you get is that they are getting worried about their daughter. You will probably get cursed for this, but you start typing out a quick message in French to send in return:
'Sorry, I was pretty busy for the evening. I'll be staying over at my friend's tonight !'
You slip the phone away without waiting for an answer and take a quick look at the sleeping form of Evelyn. It feels like nothing is working out tonight. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day you think and start walking towards the room occupied your uncle to get yourself a Futon for the night.
You realize you haven't actually been in the room ever since your uncle moved in as you step inside the room and turn on the lights. However, there haven't been any changes in the room's layout and you breathe out in relief at seeing everything important intact. He has mostly rearranged some of the excess stuff to look neater there and there, but you can't find any of his personal belongings in the room or the shelves.
There is only a neatly piled futon in the corner and two large trunks next to it, both of them with heavy, closed locks. The closet next to them seems to be marked for him with some photos lined vertically to the door, so he is probably using that for his clothes. You smile a bit at his spartan living style and quickly grab one of the excess futons in their closet. It is probably difficult to move stuff here from France.
However, before you manage to take your leave, your eye gets caught by one of the six photos nailed to the door of the closet. You frown and squint your eyes to see what bothered you and notice that the fifth one seems to be somewhat familiar. You take a step closer and notice that it portrays a younger, brightly version of him holding two young girls under his hands and ruffling their hair. Both of the figures are pouting in annoyance.
You and Kimiko...
You frown. It has been a few days since you called your sister now, and you can't help but to wonder how she has been doing...
What do you do?
[] Ignore everything, you have priorities. Like sleeping.
[] Take a closer look at the other pictures before you go to sleep.
[] Try calling your sister, maybe she'll be more talkative than Mr. Kyubey...
[] Check if Evelyn's parents have answered with anything you should know.
[] Read something.
[] Write-in.
