Chapter 2 - Afternoon of your own 3

    "I-I think I'll manage, thank you…" you say and grasp the hand Evelyn is offering you. She pulls you up quickly, leaving you standing on your less shaking feet. Next to you Kishi is still paralyzed on her place, perhaps a bit calmer now but still trying to think of some form of protest to Ariane's gesture.

    The latter is looking between you and Kishi, still worried and almost ashamed of what she just did. You brush it off however, and move next to the redhead in an attempt to calm her down from from the unresponsive state she is in.

    "K-Kishi... I-it's okay, Evelyn said it was just a misunderstanding," you begin talking to her in a calm voice, "a-and Ariane apologized already. L-let's not dwell on it too much! I-instead we should focus on the coming day."

    This seems to at least partially have the desired effect as Kishi ceases her muttering and nods slowly, "A-are you sure about t-that?"

    You smile weakly in return, "Positive."

    "You know," Evelyn suddenly calls out thoughtfully, "you are pretty lucky that your uncle isn't here at the moment. I think he'd tell you to acknowledge other cultures or something, and then suggest that you do that to each other every time you meet."

    There is a moment's pause before all your effort is brought to zero nigh instantly, as Kishi lets out a loud wheeze and falls back into talking gibberish. You can't help but to feel horrified at the prospect too, and turn to glare at the amused-looking Evelyn who dared to even suggest something like that.
    "K-k-kiss… N-n-n-nooo…"​
    "Sh-shut up, it's not funny!" you weakly attempt to defend yourself, "I-it's a serious problem, nothing to joke about, okay?"

    You turn back to Kishi and hug her eliciting a weak eep from her, "I-it's okay, he's not here right now. J-just take a few deep breaths, it is not that bad."

    Her face is still redder than a tomato, but she makes an honest effort to keep her mouth closed while you are right next to her. Your uncle is truly a terrible person for causing this kind of reaction in her. But at least she seems to be okay otherwise. You sigh in relief and continue to speak with her, "A-are you good now?"

    Kishi nods weakly, still forcing herself to stay quiet, so you let go of her and turn towards the two other girls, "I-ignoring terrible things like that, how does going to the city sound? Y-you did ask if we could go there in the morning, Ariane."

    The girl's face brightens up at the mere mention of going out there, "Yes! It would be amazing! There is still so much to see, and…" she suddenly turns embarrassed, "Uh, but we'd need to have someone watching over us there… Just something to keep in mind!"

    What do you do?

    [] On a second-thought, maybe stay here now that you bothered to show up...

    Plans for the entire afternoon are not really necessary, so avoid piling up the options since it will probably just get cut at the first place you get to.

    Can we do the training a bit later? Ariane wants to explore and have some fun right now. She's looking forward to this. Training can happen later. We have the whole afternoon.
