Overcharged seed or not, you realize you have far more pressing issues. Turning your head a bit to take another look at Kishi's Soul Gem confirms your fears. The swirling vortex of grief seems to have overcome the trinket almost completely.
You panic. Why does she...
'K-Kishi stop! Y-you can't... you need to cleanse now!' you scream at her through telepathy, yes she just seems to intensify her efforts to heal in midst of the sobs, "I-I can do t-this, d-don't you worry..." She isn't listening to you at all.
Thinking quickly, you first throw away the grief seed and attempt to reach the bunnycat, 'M-Mr. Kyubey, if you hear this, I have a-' Oh there he is. Appearing from out of your field of vision, the familiar wish-granter catches the seed while in air, gracefully landing on the floor.
Well, that's convenient, you think? He doesn't seem to be in a hurry to leave this time though, as he simply sits down and looks at Kishi weirdly with an inclined head, almost giving you shivers.
But no time for that, you still have a friend to save. You turn your attention to Ariane, desperately trying to get her help with this 'G-get the grief seed! W-we... we need it for Kishi now!'
Your desperate voice seems to get her out of her self-pity as her eyes widen in terrified realization. With shaking limbs she rises up from the ground by using the pillar for support. She disappears from your field of vision as she stumbles towards your feet and falls there.
You don't get to send a telepathic message, though. Ariane suddenly jumps back into your sight and falls on your body, pushing your and Kishi's arms to the side while pressing the grief seed against the Soul Gem. You can hear her quietly sob under her breath. Fortunately, her body doesn't seem to hurt you much, although you cough out a large lump of blood from your mouth from the impact.
Kishi seems to lose all strength on her body as the grief leaves her Gem and slumps down next to you, breathing deeply and looking at you with wide, terrified eyes. "I-I'm sorry... T-Tamiko... p-please, say something..." she whispers out weakly.
She feels unfocused and unaware of her surroundings. Or perhaps she just doesn't care, as she looks at you in the face. Out of the corner of your eye you see Mr. Kyubey whisking its tail, and turning to leave.

I actually could have continued the update with the rest of the vote, but decided to cut it here in case you want to react to the events. My base assumptions are that you'll either talk with Kyubey or continue with the vote in abeyance. However, it is always possible to make small changes.
