Everything else is secondary to getting healed up and ensuring nobody dies.

I was utterly convinced we lost our entire lower half along with a good portion of our torso and one of our arms. Thankfully, I just misread and we're still relatively in one piece.

I'm here...' you can feel Kishi calm down and relax considerably in your arms, even if she still cries silently to your chest, 'It's okay. I'm here...' you continue to tell her.

But it doesn't feel right just yet... There is still another sad friend you scared half to death laying on top of you and sobbing silently. Your position with Kishi being what it is, you can't really turn to look at her, but reach out to her through personal telepathy instead.

'A-Ariane.... thank you, for helping Kishi...' you can feel her body stiffen with your words, but she doesn't say anything in response, 'P-please don't feel bad. I-I've never seen a witch like that... That wasn't fair on you at all. I-I'm sorry... sorry you had to go through all of this.'

You carefully lift your intact left arm from Kishi's back and lay it on Ariane's. You nudge her gently towards you, and she crawls slowly to your level before wrapping her arms firmly around you too.
The tendrils reach out to her.
The silent sobbing fades away and she falls into nigh complete silence... You three lay there, grouped together for support. Even if all of you are tired, dirty and feeling horrible, the feeling of simply being next to someone is enough to make you feel a bit better.

"Your hugs... they are really warm..." you hear Ariane whisper to your ear, sounding a bit tired, "thank you..."

Slowly we are becoming the most important persons in their lifes...Even more than their parents...more important than themselfs...Only Tamiko will be important, and all will be good, for Tamiko happiness...

    You squeeze Ariane the tiniest bit harder at those words, 'You're welcome...' but you are also forced to realize that you can't really stay hugging each other on the floor forever. You still have injuries left to heal and there are yet other things to do.

    'S-say, Kishi, Ariane? A-are you feeling alright?' you ask both of your friends, and get quiet mumbles of "Yes" for a response. Looks like they have both calmed down after the spectacle, and you almost sigh in relief.

    For all their horror at your body's condition, they gave you more than enough concerns themselves. Especially Kishi... and even the thought of what might have happened sends shivers down your spine. If she had...

    'T-that's... good to hear...' you ask them, diverting your attention away from those thoughts, 'but I think we should get up now... W-we still have to take care of the witch's victim among other things.'

    While Kishi seems to understand what you are getting at, prying herself out from your arm with great reluctance, Ariane whines a little at the request, "Do we have to? It's... so comfy..."

    "Y-yeah,"     you reply immediately, not wanting to get mired down with a disagreement like this, "we can hug later, but we need to get this done as soon as possible."

    She pouts, but also rises up from your body. You follow suit, pushing yourself to a sitting position with a groan and a dry cough. Despite the healing, there are till lingering sore spots in your torso, and your leg is still a mess underneath the uniform.

    You reach out with your arms and start healing them again. You'd prefer to be able to walk, thank you very much!

    "Um, Tamiko... how does that work?" Ariane suddenly asks you as she looks at you healing yourself, "the healing... I mean."

    Well, this is as good time as any... "Y-you see, all Magical Girls can use their magic to heal. I-it's... difficult to explain, being instinctual in nature. But you can just will yourself to heal if needed."

    Ariane looks curiously at her hands and heavily tries to concentrate on them. True enough, a pale green light engulfs her hand and her expression brightens up considerably, with a wide smile and delighted eyes. She immediately puts her hands on top of your leg, watching in fascination as the tissue starts knitting itself into shape again.

    "S-she's..." you hear Kishi's trembling voice. You sharply turn to look at her crouching next to the limp body of the girl you rescued, the healing process almost entirely forgotten. Your heart seems to jump to your throat-

    "S-she's still b-breathing..." You breathe out in relief at hearing that. She almost gave you a heart attack there! However, you turn back to the healing process, slightly more relieved than before. Perhaps there may yet be a happy ending to this.

    However, there is another thing that bothers you. Despite the healing, the glowing white areas in your arm haven't shrunk or changed one bit. You are almost scared to do anything about that yet, and you definitely are unsure about it.

    There are three possible scenarios, should you de-transform with those still there. First of all, they'll still be there, making you partially made of light. Second, those things are replaced by actual tissue, with the possible caveat that the light spots may return when transforming again. That might be the best of the options.

    Or third, those things disappear, reopening the injuries in your arm and spraying your clothes and surroundings in more blood.

    Frankly, it seems that trying to figure something out while still transformed is the safest option at the moment...

    What do you do?

    It seems so far fetched, that I don't think it's worth wasting a Grief Seed on.

    Ah well, we can give it a whirl if we don't have anything else to do in the next Science Session. Not like we're on a time limit or anything. Everything else takes priority over it though.
