Well, 306 threadmarks, almost all of those updates... This might have escalated a bit from the start :V?

But seriously, thank you everyone, for sticking with this quest this far even with a pretty shitty QM running it. Hope you have managed to get some entertainment out of this despite all the faults.

Chapter 2 - Witch battle: Amanda 7

    Well, if the witch wants more, then it can have it. You sheathe your sword back to the shield and send out a quick telepathic message to your friends, 'I-I think it won't be able to move with that leg. Press the attack! A-Ariane, can you throw those spheres at the witch? O-or something?'

    Ariane shakes her head hesitantly, having calmed down a bit after seeing your successful attack, 'I... don't know... I can't really explain...'

    [Kishi attack: 28 vs 33]
    Meanwhile, Kishi fires another rapid volley at the witch, hoping to get good shots to the box. However, the creature seems to have figured out another means of transportation for itself. The witch fires the boar-headed spring from underneath it, soaring to the air above you and out of the way of the shower of blasts.

    As it starts to descend on you, Ariane hastily brings forth another set of light spheres and fires them at the flying witch. One of them glances the surface of the box, but the thing moves too fast for Ariane's aim.

    [Witch attack: -3 vs 18]
    Paying no heed to the other girls, the witch re-fires the same spring-powered boar head, this time towards you. However, you can tell that the attack is sloppy and you simply release a force bubble to divert the attack to the side, crashing the head to the stands.

    [Tamiko attack: 87 vs 34]
    The bottom of the box is now vulnerable. You grab your sword's handle, and let the white energy fill the blade before you releasing it against the airborne witch. The glowing wave washes against the box, tearing the already damaged structure apart even further.

    The witch crashes to the ground, the spring still extended. The bottom half of the ox is either completely in shambles or badly torn. The music slows down almost like the playing mechanisms had suffered a malfunction. The girl's dance slows down accordingly as the movements become more akin to muscle spasms.

    The remains of the legs twitch, desperately trying to bring the creature up again.

    "Is... it over?" Ariane asks you fearfully.
    Red flashes through a hole in the box.
    Tamiko shield charge: 5/100

    What do you do?

    [] Talk with Kishi/Ariane.

    [] Finish the witch.

    [] Rescue the girl.

    [] Charge up your shield.

    [] Write-in.

    ===

    Here we have an example of a witch where only Tamiko does anything.

    • I would prefer to finish off the witch using a sword blast, can we do it ? Also i want to take a look at our soul gem before doing anything right now, we have time.

    -[x] Telepathy both girls. Get cover! It maybe trying to blow itself up!
    -[x] Charge shield (60)
    -[x] Quick dash, rescue the girl. Then get away from the witch. Sword blast it! (24)
    -[x] If it blows, force bubble to protect yourself and the girl. (Everything you have left)
