Chapter 2 - Witch battle: Amanda 5
[x] Force bubble time!
[x] Telepathy Kishi. Call if she's alright!
[x] Telepathy Ariane. She has the blast that thing! We need to buy time.
[x] Can you apply some of your charge to heal?

You grit your teeth and fight down the urge to scream more at the pain. You can't afford to lose your focus in a situation like this. With the witch closing in, you pull on the energy inside the shield and bring it out. You are not entirely sure how much you got, but the bubble you release when the barbed wire strikes at you again is intense.

[Witch tries to attack: -14 vs 49]
The wires bounce off the surface of the glowing white force field that also throws the witch directly away from you, and straight into the stand. Dust and debris are brought into the air, as the box and girl crash there. The music doesn't stop even for a second, and you doubt the crash did much if any damage. You don't have to time think about that, however, as you immediately focus on your friends.

'K-Kishi! A-are you alright!? Answer, please!' you call out through telepathy. You don't need to wait for long, fortunately.

[Kishi attacks witch: 64 vs 79]
A torrent of gunfire erupts to the witch's landing site from the position Kishi crashed into, and you can see her rise up from the pile of debris her landing caused. Her clothing is a bit torn, but it still hides any possible injuries. 'I-I'm fine, j-just focus on this t-thing!'

You breathe out a sigh of relief at hearing that and turn your attention briefly to Ariane, 'Y-you need to blast that thing! W-we need to buy some time!' you say, hoping to have her use those beams you've seen her use before.

"I... I thought you..." her voice rings out to you. She sounds desperate, like she was about to cry. You can see a flashing orb in her hands as she desperately tries to keep it stable. "It's not..."

Unfortunately, the situation being what it, you can't wholly focus on it. With your sword arm mauled, your ability to contribute has diminished quite greatly... and you are getting quite desperate about it.

Well, desperate enough to attempt this. You pull the rest of the charge inside the shield to your body, and push it to the injured part of your arm. It's a longshot, but what other choice do you have?

You try to tell the energy to heal you, and nothing happens. You try to focus on it more intensely, with more finesse, but it doesn't seem to be willing to heal you. You desperately tell it to do something, you...
t e l l i t t o b e s o m e t h i n g.
...feel the energy leave your body. But instead of a blast or bubble, it solidifies. The missing and torn tissue gets replaced by the energy as it takes on the form of the missing parts off your arm and clothing.

The pain is suddenly gone, and you seem to feel your arm completely again. You stare at the result in confusion. Even if solid, the energy still glows pure white. But it seems to perfectly mimic the shape and form of your arm and the uniform, blending into the material like it had always been there.

You don't have too much time to gaze at the result, however, as the witch trashes itself out from the stands. The girl on the top keeps dancing and appears to have gained some more damage on the clothing and herself, but the box just scuttles angrily towards you again.

Hora~

We need to calm down Ariane, for that we need to buy time, so i would suggest to us to focus on tanking the witch, or simply aggroing her and jumping away to give Kishi a chance to shot her to death.

[x] Charge Shield. As much as possible.
[x] Continue telepathy with Ariane.
-[x] 'I'll be okay! We'll be okay! We'll get through this! But I need your help! You can do it Ariane!'
[x] Sword Blast. 24 charge or as much as we can muster.
[x] If applicable, use jump boosts to dodge. Mind your surroundings.

Having spend the previous charge in the shield completely by now, you immediately start recharging it to its maximum capacity. The witch bears on you at terrifying speeds, giving you barely enough time to have a charge for a jump boost.

[Witch attacks: 99 vs 100]
However, it is enough. The pair or barbed of wires shoots towards you, and at the same time you channel the small amount of energy you have managed to produce into your legs. The attack misses you by a literal hair's breadth as you speed to the side with your jump boost. The wires crash into the stands while you land far to the witch's side.

'I-I'll be okay! W-we'll be okay!' you immediately reach out to Ariane through telepathy, hoping to reassure and encourage her, 'We'll get through this! B-but I need your help! You can do it, Ariane!'

While she still seems to be in a state of panic, her attempts at holding the ball of light stable seem to finally succeed as three of those spring into existence around her.

You turn your attention back at the battle, however, and grasp the hilt of your sword. Whatever these prosthetics are, they seem to work... and it's time you press the offensive too, as you watch Kishi and Ariane both fire at the creature.

The witch manages to dodge most of the fire by reeling itself towards the place where the barbed wires got stuck at a blinding speed. The few hits from the other girls barely cause any damage to the creature. For a literal walking box that thing can be surprisingly speedy at times...

The witch lands on the stands, crushing several rows of benching and bringing in those wires. You take this time to strike yourself. Pushing the maximum controllable charge into your sabre, you send out an all too familiar sword slash towards the creature.

[Tamiko attacks: 100 vs 86]
The witch attempts to jump to the side but gets hampered due to standing on unbalanced rubble. Your hit blasts it straight on, washing the lower parts of the box in the white energy wave. You also note that if the witch had been standing lower you probably would have hit the dancing girl too.
It would be easier...
You don't get to ponder on your near mistake, as the witch emerges from your blast. Bits and pieces have fallen off the box and its right front leg has snapped, giving it trouble standing. The box itself is holding together in spite of looking ragged and heavily damaged. Still, it seems to be ready for another go.

Tamiko shield charge: 64/100

What do you do?

[] Coordinate your attacks with Kishi and Ariane.

[] Another sword blast.

[] Prepare force bubble.

[] Get into melee.

[] Write-in.

The witch rolls well consistently... But you got pretty awesome rolls yourself.

[x] Coordinate your attacks with Kishi and Ariane.
-[x] Let Kishi do what she is best at.
-[x] You do a sword blast at 24 charge before slashing the witch directly. Use jump boosts and force bubbles for defense if needed.
-[x] Ariane could generate and throw the spheres of light at the witch or something.
--[:V] Telepath Ariane: 'If you don't believe in yourself, then at least believe in the Tamiko who believes in you.'

I believe the term for this situation is 'hora'.
Also, mind, stop trying to guilt trip tamiko!

Should I actually include that last part in my vote?
