Well! This has been one hell of an interesting update. We got information on Scarlet Maturity's backstory, and looking at the DNA profiles...yeah, telepathy or some sort of psychic sharing is necessary to use Algernon powers safely. Kind of weird, if you think about it: no other power seems to have that sort of flaw. Still, once we figure out how to take advantage of it, then things have yo he potential to get very interested indeed.
We've got money, both a substitute infusion and a steady income stream! That makes things so much better, though we should still try to boost that income stream a bit. We've got a lot of expenses after all.

Now, for the choices...I don't have any real preference for the Fill-In issue at the moment. But for Yara, the sea serpent seems like the coolest choice to me,so that's what I'll be voting for.

Since we need to do MG and DF, We should be able to regain contract of OID easily next turn, as long we do abarimon or 3rd person. So thats extra income and source of it.
For Algernon well either need a Telepathic Equipment to give someone the info they got or partner each algernon up with a Telepath. So we might need to spam seraph kek.

So phasing bullets and using screens to teleport them. Its expensive but that has a lot of potential given its opening up offensive intangibility to presumably mess with invulns in some manner.
Ohhhh, this is nice. This is basically tailor built for the theoretical self enhance synergies. Decent chance you still want Soldier X anyway but doubling them up sounds amazing regardless. Sewer Rat/Daggermaw/this/Soldier X is only 7 potency while hitting every element there.
Okay, the regenerating Teleports are really interesting because this seems like a very strong powerset on someone with access to enhanced speed or enhanced senses just to make the most of the utility healing. Coincidentally any people trying to go for a Phasewalking Red Huntress build should be using this over Memoria any day of the week I'm pretty sure.
Oh hey, good for them on this one. Still despite some of the tags this seems primed to be mixed with an Adamant build just so the metal needles can be crafted from Adamantium. Its a simple bit, but its being directly pointed out for a reason y'know?
...I want to create a monster using this, Crimson Soprano, Dragonsteeth, and Millions all on the same build. Is it necessary? Absolutely not. Do I want to see the carnage from that level of Energy Manipulation? Completely and utterly.
Still, the note that her constructs shared the signs of super strength she has is interesting, since there is the question of if enhancing this sample in some manner, would those enhancements be there for the constructs as well?
Not wholy sure what Promethean's Warning is, but Red Glow at Mourning seems insane given the samples we've seen here and Primtemps, given the implication is it would allow us to safely use the samples. Now there is the question of if the samples would return to a weaker form and lose some potency alongside the red tag or just become safe but otherwise in the same state, but that is something we will presumably need to take it to find out first.
Oh this is the first step to figuring out how Algernons work IC, let's go.
Using up money to gain new samples based on context clues, while being repeatable. Not sure how much we need it but not bad to have available.

Also if SM is right LPP has Mental Clairvoyance and Biokenisis most likely to be able to target others with an aura that fucks up their brain.

Wait, I know that we got the formula for Telekinesis, but did we ever get the formula for True Telepathy? I know that we've got Seraph for that now, but she costs 6 Potency on her own. The formula might let us figure out a cheaper way for True Telepathy.

It really does seem like Bitterman took our desire for a psychic defender and went all in on it.

It definitely sounds like we've unlocked some form of Scarlet Maturity-related research... And have taken one step in the direction of figuring out Algernons.
Not to mention the information we exchanged with SM. That's a sad backstory but it doesn't justify all the murders.

I found it very concerning that Yara met with Hand but it's extremely cool that she has enough control over her dream-world-place that she can just banish him. Phew.
And her meeting Belle was unexpected! I guess it's a d12 because JU has eight active heroes (Belle is the 8th) and New Dawn has four combat heroes atm?? No wonder our guesses were off.
Regardless, it certainly seems like the dice like weaving their tale.
I imagine the Yara vote will have something to do with the expression of her power. A literal transformation? Or perhaps a metaphor.
If it's a metaphor, a school of fish is individually weak but powerful as a collective - a supportive powerset, empowering the rest of the team? It's been at least 3 days. I thought he would have had gotten into an already prepared shelter in that time and had been forced out from it.
The most interesting thing is that somehow she can see and interact with both those who are dead and those who are not (remotely) which is something strange for the Stage as we currently understand it.
