I see that number of words and I already know we're in trouble.

Quote reaction tommorow, gotta sleep.

Basically, the Philosophers are showing their hand, I can't imagine any other faction having Espionage fucking 55.

And we got nailed by clone Wolong, who forces auto successes on Operations Checks, which on our end manifests as autofails

Jesus Christ, things have gone to shit so fast. At least we actually know what Valiant Justice's armor does, though his draining other people's psychic fields is unexpected. Really fits with Crusade's MO though, I have to say. Also, I want White Hawk dead, preferably in the near future. I don't know what exactly went on between him and Belle in the past, but none of the possibilities I can think of are pretty.

Remember, it's not bad if They do it .

Stockpile is such a fucking piece of shit, good god. I can respect the rest of them because they're not pretending to be anything but what they are, but he really, really has no excuse. He's just literal fucking garbage.

Claims he's the only good guy around while he's happily pissing on the legacy of as many heroes as he can, in defiance of the wishes of everyone he ever trusted.

Well, yeah, figures there would be bad blood between a Casca expy and a Griffith expy.

Ellie said that's what it did last update!

I even floated "localized collective unconscious" a bit back, but it turns out it was way worse than I anticipated, jeez.

Haven't read the update but wtf dat 16k update. I see we're clashing with Crusade here, which means it's probably SB in the works playing da impasta. Oh boy.

Butterfly was soft confirmed as a Philosopher, since she's protected by a faction that makes our ridiculously ESP stacked team look like amateurs. And has been from seemingly day one, since eve LL's network never got as much of a peep that she existed.

Wow. I loved the lunch scene — it was fun and light and perfect for the characters, with the combination of joy and insight and grief this quest does so well.

…And all the while there was this huge looming, mounting, tension. That was so fun.

And when it went to hell… it went hard. WOW. It's hilarious our enemies have a better sense of our finances than we do :V

And it's terrifying that this is just the opener. Because we're going up against Crusade and not!New Dawn at once. Lord.

"I was gathering information on the public perception of Justice Unlimited!"
And I look forward to hearing a full report of your 'mission' during our next general meeting."
And hahahahaha I am so, so, happy that the omake featured in! This was so much more than I could ever hope for. Poor Mona. And what a delightful view of Yara!

I do take a lot of inspiration for what you guys write. It's the fun of this being a quest!

Impressive levels of fumble from Mona but meanwhile jfc, Mona is a nightmare to field against Crusade unless Stockpile is down and out huh? That field drain doing so much in one go is horrific.

It's honestly baffling that we ever had a chance of recruiting Stockpile, because he's kinda just garbage. Like, a terrible person, and not even in the "does bad things" sense where "You can be more" and etc, etc, but just like he's terrible at every aspect of judgment and discernment and consistency that allows you to actually like... Be More.

Obviously, Stockpile won't believe us if we say that Socialite Butterfly orchestrated this.

That being said, I'm still really on the fence as to if White Hawk is a pawn of the Philosophers in the same way that Scarlet Maturity is, or if he's being manipulated as well?

Anyway for plan have we need to stop VJ and then retreat to get yara safe.

Apply Hustle to swan Have MW send Chimera to seraph so swan can take on WH and SK. Maybe fly really high to escape VJ range too or maybe entered outer space and start regen?

Have DS, Sabreuse and Yara retreat while Chatleet fight Brass since DS can shield anyone in range and detect attackers.

VG 1v1 VJ to Get BS out of range?

Seriously, it's an impressive feat to create someone as contemptible a human being that Stockpile is, even if every update he's brought up in makes me want to hit something.

Literally human garbage, who doesn't have the slightest backbone except when it comes to rethinking the grudge that was handed to him out of nowhere.

He's 19 and never dealt with grief before. And he's doing it in the stupid, stupid way teenagers do when manipulated by uncaring, global superpowers.
