This is certainly an interesting quest. I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes.
As for the vote, I simply think that guaranteeing a power expression, even just a single one, is more valuable than being able to increase our candidates' potential power level. The latter is potentially very useful, I'll gladly admit, but I just think that guaranteeing at least some certainty is more conistently useful.
