After all 'the Uiara in the video' absolutely believes every word she's saying, but there's no guarantee that's she the real Uiara.

Fair enough, but that would also mean that they would to have had the illusionist waiting in the wings.

Do illusory powers in the setting also work on electronics like cameras, @Bitterman ? Just for instance, Miss Conception's illusions. This is presuming they're creating the light, sounds, and touch instead of reaching into someone's mind and making them think they see something when they don't.

This was a solid line, a fantastic one even, and we gotta keep hitting it. We gotta keep reminding everyone that Justice Unlimited is the team of heroes, the successors of Valiant Red's dream, the ones who died to the very last woman to stop Leviathan.

We need to launch a PR attack of our own: keep bringing up Scarlet Maturity, keep reminding everyone that the ultra-rich had these super-Metahumans who did jack shit during the Movement, keep bringing up the fact that our guys are genuine heroes and the other guys just paid goons.

We need to get out there and do Heroic shit while reminding everyone else that the guys accusing Valiant Silver of causing the Movement (that she died stopping) are the same guys funded by the rich, backed by *ew* Americans, and most importantly support the dude who offers literal devil's bargains to other Metahumans (he's clearly on 'administrative leave', they aren't even trying to charge him with any wrongdoing, and it's pretty obvious to everyone).

TLDR: The establishment want to make Justice Unlimited toxic? We need to gaslight gatekeep girlboss our way to victory.

BTW Swan knowing about the Stage is thankfully something that helps her know Crusade are wrong. Since she actually knows what Exceed was tapping into.

Also can I just say Crusade is a stupid name for an Org?

The Crusading age lead to religjous wars that lead to lots of people dying, Liek I'm pretty sure cities were depopulated and even had crusaders commit cannibalism at the top of my head in atrocities of that time.

If your goal is suppose to protect peole why are you naming yourslef after people who tried to conquer nations.

Another PR point could be to point out that not only were the Crusades destructive and wasteful wars whose righteousness is debatable to say the least, but also that they all failed.
 
Let's assume that the scraps of the original EXCEED were laundered or doctored in some way, in addition to Stockpile being fed bad faith information.

Let's also assume that, because of his fears and incorrect data, PREVAIL has no Stage connection, because Stockpile things the Stage is the Leviathan, in total.

What *is* PREVAIL running off of, then?
 
Hmm I think the biggest Problem with revealing The Stage, is that Philosophers might actually not know about it meabubg they can start actively manipulating it it instead of just the passive connection they seem to have as having monopoly on big psychics.
 
Great Job Black Swan, It's one thing to punch out one of the strongest fighters but rolling into an enemy PR event, planned by the conspiracy, challenging their claims and somehow come out looking the better. That is impressive.
 
Hmm experimenting on Leviathan was actually true. Its just hte experiments were on Goldnine to give people powers.

Really the biggest thing is that Uirra massaged her father considering her last will was about how much of a fucker he is that we need to keep yara safe. Even with VS running wild there was no way she would trust him.
 
Yeah, if nothing else, meeting her in person does reaffirm that Yara is a cinnamon roll who we are going to give some serious mojo to.

I really hope Belle is recruitable, too. Even if the mission rewards said just "eventually recruit a high tolerance candidate" and not "eventually recruit a metahuman".
 
This whole thing is just one more reason to investigate what caused the Movement.

Also, White Hawk? Not subtle. It seems we have a Celestial Dragon type of situation, and they are moving to establish control once and for all. But is Elysium just a mere pawn of the Philosophers or their ultimate beneficiary?

She did insist on touching everyone, and would have touched Yara had she not avoided her; which would allow SB to impersonate her and give control of the company to Jair.

I thought it ran on Goldnine, but it might be forcing Stockpile to burn his power the way it did Valiant Silver. Is connection to the Stage the reason for both the Algernon's brilliance and their mental deterioration?

Belle a mercenary I think so might form an alliance later through Yaras personal actions. Which is still fine.

That or get a quest line to recruit Belle.
 
We need to start preemptively blaming Crusade for everything that's about to go wrong (which is a lot).

Start screaming about "inexperienced" Metahumans operating in Horizon, around Leviathan, when they've clearly never been around before (to help in the Movement). Openly warn everyone about the inevitable collateral that's gonna be caused by Crusade trying to fight Monarch, a teleporter, in a dense urban environment where she can easily wreck havoc by linking goldnine from the QZ to any battlefield (as we know OOC she would've done if we hadn't picked New Dawn). Smear Valiant Justice and how he's clearly trying to blame Valiant Silver for his own experiments: would you trust an unknown Metahuman with a fraction of Valiant Silver's rep, to mess around with her armor that supposedly can wake Leviathan? Huh???

We can't stay on the defensive. We need to hire a whole ass Marketing Department, not just one dude. We need rooms full of trolls slandering them online everywhere, not just Moon River operating by herself.

They want to make us submit to an audit? Discredit them before the entire city so nobody trusts anything they're spewing out. Clear Valiant Silver's name by making it clear the people slandering her are obviously evil: why believe anything they say? They've lied for decades with Scarlet Maturity. Why would they change now?

That might be worth working on to give John since its way to get Teleportation and Synergy.

Dont Know what it woudld be though. Strenght and Clairvoyance dont really connect to me.

Edit: Hell yeh that makes Hero Worship even more tempting. Also while we need to focus on Monarch we also need to prepare for it considering the higher AP and chance to tangle with Crusade.

It could be our way to get Scarlet Maturity's power. I floated that he had some degree of Clairvoyance, even if it's just "I know if the people I loan power to are alive".
