Now that I think about it
The animal masks almost everyone wears is going to weird out any people we meet
Apparently "a few item descriptions mention that animal masks are traditional for Stalkers, and that the colors and animals are symbolic of different ranks and affiliations. For example, you can find a collectible written by one of Black Rabbit Brotherhood suggesting that after the collapse of society they could wear other masks, like a leopard. It was then replied that after the collapse of society there was no way to get more masks." (Taken from the steam forums )

Do you think there's a chance that we could try to rebuild some of the boss puppets? You know not as crazy as before. And give a burial to the king of puppets as well and the nameless puppet.

We were talking about repairing the scrapped watchman since he wasn't a bad guy he just thought you hurt the children
Also to watch him pound the Coachman into the ground

Depending on where we can infer who we may come into contact with first. If on the mainland, probably Frollo with a small chance of Hades. If on Sicily or Sardinia then it'd be the Pirate Lords. The Coachman would only be close if we are on the northern east coast of Italy. This is based on the Canon DVV map ofcourse.
Yes, this after the Rise of P ending. Otherwise, Sophia and all of Krat would be dead. Which... honestly a Villains Victorious faction would be lead by Gappetto who turns the dead into his army of puppets. Would be pretty metal actually.
No, actually, I didn't know that you did an Omake. I'll add it to the reading list.
I was reading Abequest while I was trying to go through Lies of P... and the idea just sorta clicked. Next thing I know, I'm rushing to finish Lies of P so I can write the quest and here we are.
The last three bosses kicked my ass for a good 2 or 3 hours, but I finished it.
Well… the people of Krat certainly had Zeal you had to give them that.
Oh, sure, you did what any good man in charge would have done, fashioning simple armor and weapons for the people to use, in the hopes that it would help when defending the Hotel, or even in training them to learn how to use them when it came time to retake the city from the still mad puppets.
Even the few thousand of different puppets that had rejoined you had vaunted for some form of weaponry and plates of armor to protect their chests where their most important components lay.
They had become so enraptured by the armor and weapons, that the soldiers among them had begun to go through basic forms of combat, the rest of the humans joining in for the training, while the puppets immediately learned the movements. Though, some of them had difficulties with some of the more fluid movements, due to their bodies being literally incapable of moving with such fluidity due to them being either older models, or puppets built for other uses.
Then you and Sophia had siphoned all of the Ergo from the carcasses, and any that polluted the city into the Storage Tanks underneath the city, and the zeal that the people of Krat had shown for their home burned like a bonfire that reached for the stars.
You don't know how it started, or whose idea it was, but the militia had all gathered together and begun to march across the city, clearing what scattered puppets had remained in the various districts. And that was when you knew that there was no convincing them to stop, so instead, you began to organize the reconquest of Krat.
Every passing day was a new victory, every passing day, new puppets were put down, or more came to join your side. And the humans that had managed to find refuge in the various districts came to aid in the fight for their home.
And before you knew it, at the end of February, the city had been completely liberated. For the first time since the plague began, the people of Krat felt safe, and comfort in their homes.
Now… now came the hard part. Destruction could be easy, but creation, reconstruction, that was the hard part. And it was time that you get started.

Alidoro, it turned out, had quite a way with words. More than that, due to his experience with urban exploration and helping those that needed to move around in the city, there were plenty of people that were more than happy to listen to anything that he said.
Before you knew it, there were gatherings here and there across your territory, small gatherings that would either become full blown parties, or mourning halls for those that you knew had fallen.
That would become a problem eventually. There were so many casualties during those Mournful Nights, and the dead would need to be tallied. Perhaps now that the city was back under your control, you would be able to do so, but for now, it was merely added to the list of things that needed to get done.
When the city had been siphoned of excess Ergo, the entire city had rejoiced, partying as if there were no tomorrow, enough so that even you got caught in the celebrations.
Then you woke up the next morning, bottles all over the hotel, along with snoring people with blankets draped over them, while Pinocchio was sweeping the floor, and throwing away trash as he went about cleaning. He hadn't minded, on the contrary, you think that you saw a smile after that.
Regardless, Alidoro made sure that everyone knew exactly who had been responsible for this, and both you and Sophia found it much harder to leave the hotel without getting swamped by by people.
A hassle yet, but at least people were happy now.
Rewards:
No loyalty degradation until Turn 4 unless situation becomes dire.
+10 to loyalty
Stewardship: Puppet Repair Force
4+ 41(Lorenzini)=45 Success
With everything else going on in the city, you'd almost forgotten about this little side project you had dedicated yourself to.
If wasn't for Pucinella reminding you of your work, then you really would have completely forgotten about it in the first place.
You spent the last week just running around inside of the makeshift workshop that you had built in one of the nearby buildings whose occupants… did not need it anymore.
Oh, sure, the little spot you'd had in the hotel was cozy, but when working on multiple puppets who were eager to help in rebuilding instead of destroying, you were going to need far more space than before.
Now, here you were, smiling in satisfaction at the former wait staff puppets that had worked in Isabella street, each of them outfitted with new limbs and tools perfect for building.
"Are the parts satisfactory? Do you have any problems with trying to move." You asked Rodrigo, who was outfitted in slightly tattered waiter clothing, his still young face nodding in satisfaction as he moved his arms too and fro.
Before, you would have said that they moved fluidly and with ease.
At least, before you had seen the grace with which that Pinocchio moved with. And you couldn't help that little spike of jealousy that burned in your heart for the sheer brilliance that had shined in Geppettos mind.
Well… with time, you were going to surpass that old man. No matter how many ears it takes.
But that was for the future. For now, you finished the adjustments to the gears and pins on the puppets new arms, wiping the grease from your hands as you grabbed your scratched old pair of goggles that you kept with you since you were a boy.
"Now, if you need anything, my dear friends, please do not hesitate to come and find me. You shall help serve as the bedrock for our new Krat, and we cannot have that smeared by sadness or discomfort."
Rodrigo bowed to you, not the one that he was programmed with when he had been first constructed, but instead, a slow and deep thing that warmed your heart. "We serve, Sir Venigni, not because that was what we were made for, but because this is what we choose to do."
With that, Rodrigo turned around, the rest of the puppets around him following suit, and walked out into the streets, ready to begin building.
When he wasn't trying to understand the hotel, taking stock of furnishings, rebuilding broken windows or torn apart seatings, he had taken to disappearing in the afternoons, and wouldn't come back till the following morning.
Now, technically, Pinocchio was a grown man, and could very much take care of himself, but you couldn't help but feel just a bit of worry with how much the young man scurried around.
You even heard that he had been with the militia when they had done their sweep of the streets, leading them towards the gathering of puppets, or helping to undo any traps that had been left behind. Many men owed their lives to him now, and it… had turned into a boon in getting some tongues wagging around.
Reading through Lady Antonia's notes seemed to have helped the young man to understand how to compile reports, because he had actually managed to write down a considerable amount of what he had heard due to his meanderings around the city.
A good deal were simple rumors that you could easily dismiss, but amongst those rumors, there were also the emotion and thoughts of what the people were thinking.
You were just thankful that people tended to look at you favorably… even if there were a few that were still unhappy with your part in the Frenzy and Plague.
Which, you would never deny, or dismiss.
They were right after all. Any work that you did now, was simply going to be repairing what you broke, and you understood that some would never be fixed.
Then, on the last week of February, you woke up and walked in the lobby to find Pinocchio leading a young man in.
Well, young man was stretch, the lad seemed to be little more than a boy. Then he stepped closer, and you realized that it was a girl in baggy clothing.
She had fuzzy red hair that was cut short, and hid underneath a bowler hat that was just a smidge too big for her. Dirt caked her face and hands, though, you noticed the way that she eyed you up and down. Not the same way that many other women did, but in the way that he had seen plenty of times in her youth. She was looking to see how easy of a mark he was.
And he just smiled at her, giving her a bow, making sure not to draw suspicion to any of your pockets that actually held any money. "Lorenzini Venigni, at your service young madam."
Instead of looking awed, as she should, she instead gave you the stink eye that you had stopped seeing when you finally made money.
Ah, well, you could not blame anyone for disliking you.
"This is Bianca. She tried to steal from me." Pinocchio said, the girls red hair whipping as she turned to stare at him with horror.
You just raised your eyebrow at that, getting a strange feeling in the back of your neck. A premonition that you probably weren't going to like what you were going to hear.
"And, is there a reason why you, uh, decided to bring her to me instead of sending her to the authorities?" You asked.
The red head actually answered that for you with a snort. "What authorities? It's not like there are any polizia left." She muttered underneath her breath.
Ah, yes, another thing to add to the list of priorities that was steadily growing longer and longer.
"I want her to work for you." Pinocchio said.
You just stared at him, while the young woman groaned.
"She stole from you… and you wish for me to hire her. I hope that you will understand why I am going to need more information here." You slowly said.
"We need more people to look around. And I found her in one of the secret passages that lead out of the city." That caused you to do a double take of the young woman. You remember that the city had set up many traps in any route that could potentially lead outside. There weren't many, your city was a fortress, as had been the intention when building it, but those that had remained were either completely demolished, or filled with enough traps and defenses that anyone trying to escape would not make it out in one piece.
"Now, that does change things. Signora, how would you like a job? One, that I promise you, will lead to safe nights and a full belly?"
She snorted at your question. "I'm not getting into bed with you old man."
You flinch away from that, Pinocchio tilting his head in obvious confusion, while you waved your hands back and forth. "No, no, no, no! I promise you that my tastes require someone that is at least a few years my age." It wasn't often that someone managed to make you blush, but here you were, running your mouth in a way that you hadn't since you'd made your first big deal. "I believe that young Pinocchio here instead means that we require someone that is able to… delve into corners that most others wouldn't be willing to. And perhaps, do some things that others would find, uh, morally dubious, shall we say."
She just stared at him. "I'm only 17. And you're throwing me a job offer?"
"My dear, you were able to survive in tunnels meant to kill anyone, be they puppet or man, from stepping inside. Not only that, but young Pinocchio here is never one to puff up someone beyond their station. Tell a little lie here or there, most definitely, something that we must work on in your reports young man, but when it comes to people's strengths, he is always honest. So, what do you say?"
She stared at him, then at Pinocchio, who just stared back.
In the end, she shrugged her shoulders, and nodded. "Fine, I guess."
