Once Upon a Lie (Disney's Villain's Victorious/Lies of P) (Yes, Really)

If we need something for an army/guard how about clockwork soldiers from Dishonored?
Do you mean The Clockworks? They were more guards than watchmen. Should we design possibly sentient puppets without hands and only 4 swords?
As I stated they were notably expensive guard units. To be fair part of that was because of how new they were, but to make them for an army would probably be very costly. Plus, we were already told we wouldn't be able to mass produce LOP style puppets for an army, so it's moot until we get a new power source and design for them that isn't Ergo.

Hmmmmm
We haven't thought abou5 a really important thing
Sophia is a fairy not just any fairy THE blue fairy
There are a bunch fairys/fae (relatively) nearby
How's that interaction going to go down

Sophia Monad is the daughter of Isabelle Monad and the leader of the Alchemists, Valentinus Monad. The Monad family holds a prestigious and influential position in Krat's history. Sophia possesses a unique ability inherited from her mother, known as the "Listener" ability, which allows her to hear Ergo and communicate with puppets. However, she had to keep this ability hidden, as her mother resented the ability and viewed it as the "devil's power."

Trivia

Sophia is a reference to the Fairy with the Turquoise Hair from the original story (dubbed The Blue Fairy or the Good Fairy in other media).Although this character carries many traits of the "Blue Fairy", actress Allegra Marland stated in an interview that Sophia is more angelic or even god-like, which reflects the character's name, Sophia Monad. Monad (Greek for Unity) is the Supreme unknowable god in Gnosticism, and Sophia (Greek for Wisdom) is its feminine aspect.
Sophia's association with butterflies is fitting, as butterflies are ancient symbols of the soul. In several cultures around the world, butterflies and moths are seen as manifestations of the dead; some folk stories depict such creatures emerging from the mouths of the newly deceased to fly off to the Afterlife. Fairies also are typically depicted bearing butterfly wings, a nod to Sophia's inspiration.

From what I understand she was a human with powers that seem to come from the angel that was the falling star that ergo originated from?
And now she's a being made of Ergo living in a puppet.

Ahhh so I was mistaken

That's still gonna be an interesting interaction
Well any interaction Sophia has with a magic user is going to be interesting considering she's near the peak of it (only below gods and other primordial forces
Perhaps Jafar would be am equal)

Jafar would beat Sophia like a drum, and I suspect that it wouldn't be particularly close. Their occult scores are probably right about in the same area, but Jafar is a lot more experienced with using his magical powers than Sophia is and while Ergo is going to be something of an out of context problem to him at first he's also not an idiot so he'll eventually figure out how it ticks, one way or another.

Honestly any situation where any of our heroes goes toe to toe, one on one, with another King probably ends with us being down one hero unit. These are Kings, major powers. They did not get to where they are by turning in box tops. Our main advantage at present is that no one knows that we exist, and we should keep it that way for as long as we can.

I feel you are seriously underestimating our heros
Pinocchio is a warrior without equal from a soulsborne game
Sure their are enemies that can overpower him and he's just one man
But he's still insanely skilled
Look at his martial score
"There is little that can give him trouble "

Yeah, P can wipe the floor with most enemies, but make no mistake, that "little" that can give him trouble? That's absolutely the Kings of this setting, against anyone but them, I would bet on P winning, but against them? Depending in the king, I would not count on our little puppet turned boy to win, or at least. Win without heavy loses.

Also while Sophia has occult score in the 30-40s not sure she can do a lot with it except what she shows in game, and while impressive, that's nothing compared to the stuff other magicians like maliticent or Jafar can do, Sophia may have the raw power, but no way she has the skill to match them.

Please guys, while we are a soulsborne setting on DVV, that doesn't mean we can deal with most of the threats or heavy hitters in the setting, not without LOTS of prep time and tipping the scales on our side, which will be HARD to do, let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Never saying it would be easy but I still feel you are underestimating Sophia
We don't really know what the full extent of her abilities are but given the fact she just sucked up all the Ergo in an entire city
I'd imagine she can do some powerful things
Remember she's basically an angel in physical form

We are not underestimating Sophia, but you're definitely underestimating the setting Kings. Again, because this conversation has been had before and you were told that you were by, hang on let me check my notes...The QM that you were underestimating them with this kind of talk.

Yes the Kings aren't invincible and yes we can get wins against them, but the method to beating them is basically never going to be "throw a single hero unit at them because Soulsborne protags win at everything 5ever". I would really appreciate it if we could talk about literally anything else.

For example, which King is going to be most interested in what our Puppet tech is capable of? Personally my money's on Elsa; if she ever finds out what a P-Organ is capable of then she's going to be very invested in getting her hands on one ASAP

Yeah, Sophia is a human who became something far more due to her sheer talent for Ergo, and also probably because it was her only solace while being a prisoner and experiment for Simon Manus.

I'm not going to post what she looked like when you find her real body in game... just look it up. It's bad. Real, real, real bad.

Jafar would beat Sophia like a drum, and I suspect that it wouldn't be particularly close. Yeah, Jafar would absolutely pound Sophia into the ground. Because while Sophia has a very good Occult score, her Martial... not so much.

Sophia's 'magic' is powerful, but at the moment can only do one thing because that's all that she could do.

I feel you are seriously underestimating our heros
On the contrary, you are overestimating them and underestimating Disney Villains.

There is a reason I included a link to the Disney Villain's Victorious folder in the Informational post. Because many of the Villains are not at the same level that we saw in the movies.

Now, not all of them are going to be showing up, because, quite frankly there are many Disney movies that I just haven't seen before, or because I'm going to be messing with things here or there.

But make no mistake, you guys are the little fish in the big pond right now.

I'd say the weakest King in Europe would have to be Grimhilde, but even she would be a problem.

Pinocchio is strong, but he's also one person and can absolutely get overwhelmed by numbers. Will he survive? Yeah. Will Krat survive, if Frollo or Ursala come with an army? Absolutely not.

What Kingster said.

Also, she can only do that while strapped into a machine.

For example, which King is going to be most interested in what our Puppet tech is capable of? Personally my money's on Elsa; if she ever finds out what a P-Organ is capable of then she's going to be very invested in getting her hands on one ASAP
To carve into her sister and put it in? That sounds very risky.
Grimhilde and Yzma are the big alchemy type Kings. And you know both want to be young and pretty forever.

You know... that probably means Chernabog and by extension Frollo and The Horned King and such are going to really really hate us....

…if the angel comparison is true…do you guys think Good old Cherny sensed Sophia? Heck how likely is that any of the most mystical inclined kings sensed us when we arrived or after our little Ergo operation?

Have we painted a mark on ourselves already?

Not "that" familiar with Lies of P aside from some lore videos so not sure how exactly our stuff will interact with this settings magic.

Not that familiar with DVV but which one is the most "technological" kingdom present? I know most kingdom aren't that advanced but surely some kingdom should be the setting version of the most advanced right? Amy chance we could trade . Stuff with them if they aren't one if the evil ones?

Aside from that, I'm thinking maybe the pirate lords could be interested in our puppet tech if we make it water/seaproof?

I do would like to interact with Yzma, just cause she is one if my fav Disney villains, but I think that would be quite if a long shot tbh.

Imagining P and the others seeing Yzma kingdom and either be flabbergasted by it or totally cool with it cause of the stuff they already experienced is such a funny image to me

Also, she can only do that while strapped into a machine.

Funny/absurd idea, …can we make that machine mobile? Out some wheels into it or something? Would like to avoid for Sophia to be forced to stay sitting I. The same place too much like at the start of the game, doesn't feel right.

I never said we would throw Pinocchio at them and instantly win
I never said that
Just clearing that up
Anyway yeah its getting old

Oh Thanks for sayign this outloud! We do need to make clear for people to realize that being from a souls-like setting with full powered protags doesn't mean as much as it should be when we are here on DVV, this place is SCARY.

We are not curbstomping anyone anytime soon, specially with us in such a weak position, here in DVV we gonna have to grind a lot so we can play with the big boys around, and aside from multiple crits happening i dont see us reaching that anytime soon.

Anywho, to chnage topics from this, who do you guys would like to recruit as a Hero unit from DVV? Honestly, If still alive, Tulio and Miguel would be my picks, honestly.

Excited for when we have our first proper interaction with another kingdom/faction!

Risky? Of course. But depending on how long it's been since Anna got flash frozen there may very well be a point where Elsa decides that she's desperate enough to try literally anything to unfreeze her sister. Technically speaking, still not the worst choice she could make for that goal; even if it doesn't work it's still better than trying to make a deal with Chernabog!

Guessing what Chernabog knows at any given time is tricky because he's not extremely subtle (according to my understanding of DVV anyway). Also, if he was antagonistic towards us (or more so than usual anyway) and knew our location...That seems like it'd make for a pretty short quest.

Also the most high-tech faction is almost certainly Atlantis. If not them I don't know who it could be.

There are so many characters I love that would be amazing to recruit.
Getting Alice from the Hunting Club would be nice for example. Maybe bringing Esmerelda back to life? There are so many adorable and useful animal characters!
We could try to recruit promising technological geniuses like Taotie and Varian?
Hero bloat would be bad, but still there are just so many fun characters we could get, and so many non king antagonists we can give redemption arcs to.
