[X] Lord of the Mind
-[X] Scientist
-[X] to restore and expand your dynasty would be enough, others may rise or fall according to their want and ability
-[X] The Eldar
-[X] Ceremonial form
-[X] Nonstandard form
--[X] Four arms, Extra sensors, all these form your body, still in the humanoid shape of a Necron, but now hunched over, rather than tall and straight, legs replaced with a solid mass of a small anti-grav unit with the massive cloak only vaguely hiding such changes.

So for the quirks what kind would they be?
As in on a scale of annoying to crippling?
Becuase if we were a pervert that went after everything Jiriaya style it would be funny
But if we spontaneous order our troops to start doing a ballerina dance it be kinda annoying.

[X] Plan Galactic Dominance

Restoring our species rightful place as dominant if the galaxy is the primary goal here.

Also fuck the old ones and their toys!

Quirks scale between amusing but largely harmless up to quite difficult to work around. There is also a very small possibility of acquiring a beneficial quirk along the lines of Imotekhs strategic brilliance

One example of a fairly moderate quirk is

- Perfectionist
Whether simply their nature or a prioritation loop gone wrong in their circuitry, This Lord focusses his entire attention upon one task at a time. dedicating all resources to pursuing their chosen goal. This does mean however that their one task will be done to the best of their abilities

- Only ever have 1 personal action
- Multiply relevant bonuses in completing task of choice by 1.5
- Reduces critical failure chance from 1 - 5 to 1

[X] plan: mad scientist
[X] Scientist
As a lord you could never have been inducted into the crypteks arts, nor would you truly want to. But in your youth you ran through the battery of tests to determine specialisation and had training in your area of expertise. Although not a lifelong path it did have some benefits. The arts and sciences are not mysterious to you as they are other lords. You comprehend at least the basics of their arts and their common attempts to confound other lords are swiftly dismissed by your learned mind.

[X] all of the above
[X] The Krork
The numberless horde, the brutish savants. Where one of their twin creators had forged the perfect warrior body, strong, resilient, biologically immortal and near impossible to remove from a planet's ecosystem, the other had considered their minds. The krork had naturally occuring technical savants among their number capable of constructing complicated technical machinery in the most primitive of environments. furthermore The greatest strength and greatest weakness of the Krork was their aether based Gestalt consciousness, their War Field. The more Krork there were in a host the more power they had over the base elements of reality. Small bands would let supposedly unworkable machinery function perfectly. While Full war parties could teleport the entire force at will and empower particular members to the psionic might of even the Old Ones. To fight the Krork was a matter of constant disruption and surgical strikes. A full War party was nearly impossible to stop. Therefore separate them, kill their leaders and pull forces away from the main group. Present many targets so as to force them apart. Ensure you never fight against the Krork in full for altogether you shall be crushed
[X] Phase shifter
A personal defense and cloaking device, the phase shifter allows one to momentarily phase out of the physical dimension in order to avoid incoming dangers, however also rendering you unable to interact with the world around yourself for a moment.
-lasts 10 minutes
[X] Improved wargear
While the standard warscythe and living metal body of a Lord has proven itself adequate for survival in the last decades of the War In Heaven. A conversation with a cryptek, here a bribe to a praetorian legate there and arrangements were made to get a higher grade of artifice for facing the old ones and their spawn
My plan is mostly about being able to tech up faster than our enemies.

[X] Plan: Necrontyr
-[X] General
-[X] Restore to the Necrons the form of the Necrontyr
-[X] The Krork
-[X] Phase shifter
-[X] Improved wargear

Ok fair enough.
Also if you do relaese a list of quirks would we be able to suggest a few or have some altered?

I may eventually ask for suggestions but for now I should have a long enough list. As for editing them, I don't think I would let that happen. Opens the door for too much potential back and forth.

Seeming that 2 of the plans are within spitting distance of each other I'll call the vote on saturday at midday AEST

Well thats just for the case if something didnt make sense or was kinda BS
Like for the perfectionist one you mention if its describtion was
"The necron will obsess over one thing, sacrificing his own resources and well being to attqin some impossible vision of perfection"
Then Someone would be like 'That dont make no damn sense' and we could try to discuss a better version that doesnt sound insanely bad for its title
Like if its inherently bad then fine but the title should fit it

Independant Science - 10
Galactic Dominance - 6

Hopefully ill have part 1 by tomorrow evening

The quirk system i have devised is meant to have some mystery to it. Where narratively you guys (and the overlord themselves) dont know the fine borders of where they act normally and where things get fuzzy, which parts are just their personality or which ones programming errors. If i provided a list of all possible quirks and exactly how they work this aspect would be lost. This goes double for editing quirks where the individuals would have a very firm idea of what they want its effects to be and what situations it would be relevant to

I can understand that but that was mainly just a hypothetical on if you did.
But the quirks should still stay within there themes is what im mainly getting at
A perfectionist shouldnt go on a rage filled ramapge and stuff like that.
Pretty obvious but given some of the things I have read otherwise it bears mentioning
